Chapter 65: The Ultimate Creature
Two months ago.
Aldridge Killian was shirtless, with his hands and feet tied to the bed board used for the experiment. Researchers were beside him checking and calibrating the instruments and making sure the data was in order.
The researcher in front of the computer made an "OK" gesture to signal that the experiment could begin.
A doctor removed a syringe from the box, the barrel filled with a dark purple liquid.
"Are you sure you do that?" He came to Killian with his syringe and made sure again, "You have to know that this dose of Desperation is not at the same level as the one you have injected before, both in quality and quantity. We've never experimented on this, so we can't predict what will happen to you. In the unlikely event that you overheat out of control – and that is likely to happen – we won't have the means to help you settle down......"
"Then I'll blow it up on the spot, just like those failures. Yes, I know, either become truly perfect 'ultimate creatures' or die trying. Killian shrugged indifferently, "We all know the risks, doctor. But someone has to take risks to make a breakthrough. Okay, don't waste time, let's get started. ”
He made his determination clear, and the doctor stopped dissuading him. He injected a tube full of dark purple liquid into Killian's veins.
The effects of the viruses are menacing, and within seconds they enter the circulatory system through the bloodstream and quickly exert their effects. The fiery breath rushed to his head, making Killian feel like a volcano on the brink of an eruption. The heat erupted like a supernova from the depths of his body, flames licking at his bones, muscles, and every nerve fiber.
Killian felt dizzy. He subconsciously roared, and the heat spewed out of his mouth and nose, from every pore on his body like crazy. He felt his bones melt little by little as if they had been thrown into a furnace, the burning pain in his muscles made him almost faint, and the blood in every vein of him seemed to be boiling, as if there were thousands of horses rushing in the veins.
His five senses were beginning to blur, and he faintly heard the sound of sirens and researchers shouting his name. Computers were scorched, wiring was burned, and electrical sparks crackled. Everyone evacuated the room in a panic, they locked the protective door from the outside, and the sealed room looked like a microwave oven about to burn out.
The researchers hid outside, watching through surveillance cameras as their boss was glowing inside the room, on the verge of detonation. One couldn't help but whisper, "Can this room still hold up?" ”
"Don't worry. The place is designed to be impregnable, and no amount of blow can break through. Another person said, but subconsciously wiped his sweat, "Maybe we should worry about the boss, if we don't do it, we will have to change jobs." ”
"It's over 5,000 degrees!" The researcher in front of the computer was sweating profusely.
The video of the surveillance camera "snapped" out. There was a muffled mine-like sound from the supposedly "impregnable" wall, which was spilled from the ceiling in a cloud of ash and sunk outward, as if someone had been striking it with a meteor hammer from the inside.
Everyone was stunned.
They were vaguely aware that something was wrong.
The second round of shocks followed, and it was even more violent than the previous one. The military-grade reinforced ultra-thick composite gold wall panels could not withstand the impact after all, and the terrifying power tore through the wall panels from the inside, and the flames that finally broke free were like demons that broke through the cage and poured out mercilessly. The researchers were engulfed in heat before they could scream, and the heat of over 5,000 degrees Celsius evaporated their flesh and bones in an instant. The red-hot light burst through the building, and the torn ceiling was melted to ashes the moment it collapsed.
The impact swept away, the flames dissipated, and all that was left on the ground was charred ruins. The flames scorched a forbidden realm in which no life could possibly survive.
But someone survived.
The mutilated humanoid staggered out of the rubble, the remaining skeletal structure of its legs barely supporting its body. The evaporated muscle tissue regrows back on the bones at a rate visible to the naked eye, followed by the skin that wraps around these internal structures. The lava-like substance flowed like blood beneath the newborn skin, sizzling white smoke.
Aldridge Killian looked up at the ruins with a hideous, maniacal smile.
He did it. He withstood the final "Desperate Virus" and became the most perfect desperate warrior.
He became a true "ultimate creature".

Now, at this moment.
Aldridge Killian stood in front of Iron Man with a strange red light, and his whole body seemed to have a hot aura, which made his whole image look a little erecreal. The scorching wind filled the space, and Killian tore off the remaining pieces of clothing on his upper body, revealing the intact Oriental Dragon Totem on his chest, and even the dragon seemed to be burning.
Tony subconsciously took a step back.
"Sir, the energy in the opponent's body is much higher than the previous 'Desperate Warrior'." Jarvis reminded.
"yes, I don't know why I've always had this hunch." Tony said.
Killian grinned. He kicked his heel like a fiery arrow through the air, and the floor was almost burned through the soles of his feet. He was as agile as an antelope, several times faster than Saven's movements before! He flashed in front of him before Tony had time to react, and the red-hot hook slammed into the belly of the forty-second generation armor like a 5,000-degree heavy cannon!
An unscientific strange force pierced the armor's defenses with a burning skin-burning temperature, and Tony in the steel armor felt a tumbling stomach and his internal organs seemed to be on fire.
And that's not all. Killian followed with a left fist and slammed into Tony's helmet. The heat penetrated through the protection of the gold and titanium alloy, and the monitor in front of Tony was violently flooded, followed by a red alert of "damaged armor".
Killian's left foot strained, his figure bouncing up, and he spun in a full circle in the air, his scorching leg whipped like a flaming whip. Tony hurriedly raised his arm to stand it, and his mighty leg slammed into the armor of his forearm, the outer armor plate cracking overwhelmed, and electric sparks raining down. The "armor damaged" alarm buzzed like crazy, and Tony felt like he lost sensation in his arm.
Since Killian has broken several sets of Iron Man's armor in the final battle of "Iron Man 3" and is still not defeated (although not all of Iron Man's armor sets are combat-type armor), Michael has already guessed that Iron Man may not be his opponent with such a set of armor.
But Rao was a little surprised, because he didn't expect the battle to be so one-sided.
It seems that no matter what Killian does, he is already a cut above the original plot of the movie. Guess a little, even a fatal wound like a beheading or a heart piercing can't help him.
Iron Man and Killian have swapped a few more rounds. That being said, it's basically Killian who is attacking, and Toni is just trying to defend.
Killian stepped on his right, and a shoulder bump slammed into Tony's chest, a visible wave of fire bursting across his armor, sending him straight back. But Tony's palms in mid-air immediately propelled downward, and a beautiful somersault landed back on the ground, regaining his footing.
After just a few rounds of confrontation, Tony was shocked into a cold sweat, and he didn't dare to underestimate Killian again. He didn't have time to stand on his feet before the repulsion cannon had finished gathering energy, and without thinking about it, he raised his hand and blasted it towards Killian. But Killian was so quick that a beam of repulsive light grazed his head and shot into the air. He scurried and rushed in front of Tony before he could fire his second repulsion cannon, grabbed Tony's wrist with a long arm, and aimed his repulsion cannon at his head with a backhand twist.
The golden energy cannon shot out with a bang, and it exploded on Iron Man's own visor at zero distance. Killian flew up and kicked him over, his hot knee pressed against the reactor in his chest. Killian elbowed him hard, loosening the joints slightly, and then pulled his helmet off with brute force, revealing Tony Stark, who was bleeding from his cheeks.
The armor's combat effectiveness was basically lost, and it was as hot as a full-power oven. Tony's forehead was dripping with beads of sweat and he was panting in a low voice. His brilliant brain raced and he thought about what to do, but he could only come to the conclusion again and again that nothing seemed to help him out of his predicament.
That's it, and this is the end of Iron Man.
Killian smiled lightly.
"You should have expected such a moment when you left me on the roof in Switzerland, Stark." He said.
Thirteen years ago, Killian, still an insignificant man, enthusiastically asked Tony Stark to support his career. Tony used a lie to make him wait on the roof all night, while he ran off to the hotel room to have a good time.
"Goodbye."
Killian raised his right hand, his arm wrapped around the blazing flames like a red-hot blade that had just been pulled out of the furnace.
In the next second, something struck Killian violently from behind. He let out an "ah", and the whole person was blasted away from Iron Man.
Tony looked up suspiciously, only to see that the old man in the black suit just now had his right hand put into a pair of black steel gloves at some point, and the muzzle of the cannon in his palm was lit up with a pale blue light. A huge golden circle spread out above his head, and more other pieces of armor were flying out of it one after another, clinging to the old man's body one by one.
In less than a second, the old man in the black suit disappeared, and the guy in black and gold armor stood there, his helmet lit with a V-shaped eyepiece.
"I'm sorry, Killian, the deal is canceled." He stepped forward slowly, and even his voice became completely different from before, "Now, it's time to settle personal grievances. ”
