Years ago, somewhere was buried in the ground, in a rancid, cobweb-covered basement.

It was in this place that Lucy and her husband, Joseph, found the book, the book that changed everything, and for them it became the beginning of everything. After years of searching for clues (thanks to their good fortune in the end), the couple eventually led them to this place, digging up the book that had been sealed in the dust for an unknown number of years.

The Book of Darkness.

Legend has it that countless generations of people in history have sought it out, including some of the most famous rulers and some of the most powerful, but it's been some time since the book was last featured in history. This book is said to be beyond the limits of what can be understood by man, and what it contains is so mysterious that it has stepped into the realm of God. The legend about it is so exaggerated that most people who have heard it will not believe it.

But the Book of Darkness is true, as Lucy and Joseph have proven together. They dug up the black-covered book from the dusty basement with their own hands, and the couple was so excited that they almost cried. After so many years of searching, so much energy and resources, everything has finally proved to be worth it.

They held each other's hands, held their breath, tried their best to suppress the excitement that overflowed their chests, and in the basement they flipped open the dark title page with flashlights.

Then what appeared in front of them were two blank pages.
