Chapter 346: Divine Power?
Ghost Rider bolted down the hallway and blasted a punch into Eli Morrow's face. Eli watched the flaming skeleton rapidly approach, watching the pitch-black fist rapidly enlarge in his field of vision, but his face did not move at all, not even intent on dodging.
Terrifying boxing came with a whirlwind, and even steel could easily penetrate it. But until the punch hit the tip of his nose within milliseconds, Eli Morrow stood still indifferent, with a confident, contemptuous smile on his face, and a look of confidence.
The boxing stopped.
Or rather, it's frozen. Ghost Rider's fist was like hitting an invisible wall, and his fist was stopped, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't advance half a point.
Ghost Rider's arm strength was not high enough to shake the mountains and destroy the earth, but it was also quite impressive, and Eli didn't even move a finger before taking it, as if he was blocking his fist with air.
Ghost Rider seemed slightly surprised, and he withdrew his right fist, and his left fist was about to explode. But Eli swiped his fingers with a flick of his fingers, and a huge force pressed down on his side before he could deliver his next punch, blasting him out of the wall with a thud, and sinking into a huge mesh of cracks.
"Oh?" Michael was a little surprised.
After Eli Morrow completes experiments based on the knowledge written in the Dark Divine Book, he will gain an incomparably magical ability to "make something out of nothing", which Michael has known for a long time. The same is true of the plot in the American drama "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."
In fact, if Michael really wanted to, Eli Morrow would have been arrested a long time ago, and there was no possibility of jumping up to now. But instead of doing so, he deliberately gave Eli a chance to realize his ambitions.
The reason is simple, because he wants to see Eli complete this experiment. He wanted to see what Eli's so-called "divine power" was all about.
According to his memories of the TV series, Eli seems to have only gained the power to create matter, an ability that can also be used to hurt and defend, but is not in itself suitable for combat.
But now, Eli Morro in front of him is clearly showing more than that.
Ghost Rider's skull shook, and the bones in his jaw snapped with a crisp bite. He tried to get up from the wall, but Eli hooked his fingers slightly, and shackles suddenly poked out of the wall to tie his hands and feet. As if just in case, Eli beckoned, and several slender spikes appeared out of thin air, piercing into Ghost Rider's shoulders and legs, pinning him firmly to the wall and unable to move for half a minute.
"I gotta say, you really surprised me, Robbie." Eli put his hands behind his back and said seriously, "I never thought you would have this kind of ...... Adventure. ”
The Ghost Rider roared and glared at him, the flames on his head burned a little stronger, and his strength seemed to soar in an instant. With a flick of his arms, he broke the shackles of his hands and feet, and stepped forward, the flames wrapped around his arms, blasting towards Eli with a wave of heat!
Rumble!!!
The blazing fire exploded, and the scorching power blew out with the momentum of incinerating everything in the room, and the waves of fire engulfed Eli's form in the blink of an eye, and then struck in the direction of Michael and Wanda. Michael stood still, and Wanda waved her hand and opened a crimson barrier to block out the flames. The hot impact slammed down on the crimson barrier, and the barrier was unmoved.
There was another boom, and with it a wave of fire. The flames turned into a spiral impact, like an electric drill bursting out. A black afterimage poured out of the fire, and the floor behind it rolled up automatically, catching Eli as he flew upside down.
Eli wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, snorted, and looked ahead with gloomy eyes. After completing the experiments recorded in the Dark Book and obtaining what he considered to be omnipotent power, he was completely confident that his world was invincible. He could create anything, and he could feel a terrifying power in his body that he had never even dared to think about before, and that made his inflated self-confidence give birth to an urge to "I am completely invincible".
But even so, he was hurt and hurt by this demon who had powers that he couldn't understand.
The skull's roar rang out from the fire curtain again, and the flaming figure sliced through the sea of fire and swooped down on Eli against a hellish backdrop, this time as if it was wrapped in unquenchable flames! Eli looked at him coldly, his palm flipped, and a cold aura quickly bloomed from his body. The invisible force was like the wind that blew away the flames around him, and looming dark fluctuations burst out, rippling and encircling him, ready to burst out at any moment.
The Ghost Rider approached, and the moment he swung his fist, his arm turned into a breathing dragon! The power that Eli had condensed was also released in that instant, and the moment the transparent and illusory darkness collided with the fire dragon, it seemed to ignite an entire package of explosives. The heat was blowing wildly, yet it was completely cut off from the realm of the dark Ones. The flames and darkness collided continuously, and in the end it seemed that the darkness had the upper hand. Ghost Rider was blasted diagonally upwards, slammed through the ceiling, and flew out of the basement, dragging a dazzling tail flame away.
If memory serves, Michael remembers that Ghost Rider had an ultimate called "Judgment Eye". No guilty soul who dares to look into the eyes of the Ghost Rider will escape absolute sanctions.
But obviously, this trick has not worked much so far. So either the generation of Ghost Riders in front of him doesn't know this trick (he doesn't seem to be able to do it in the TV series), or he uses it but doesn't use it against Eli.
Michael watched the whole process of their fight, and the built-in computer completely recorded all the data fluctuations of the two sides. When the two sides exchanged blows in the final blow, he couldn't help frowning slightly when he saw the energy characteristics and reading data given on the computer.
He glanced sideways at Wanda beside him, and could tell from her startled face that she had found the same thing.
Really......
Flying away from the Ghost Rider, Eli Morro's already inflated self-confidence became even more incomparable. He withdrew his hand, and his grim eyes turned to Michael and Wanda, who had been standing aside, as if they were looking at two dead people.
Eli didn't even bother with them at all. He raised his hand, and pitch-black spikes appeared out of thin air, one after the other, and in the blink of an eye, more than twenty appeared, all floating in the air as if they were weightless.
Eli beckoned, and all the spikes shot out at once! They were like arrows detached from the bowstring, pulling the swirling air currents, shooting out with dark energy fluctuations that were invisible to the naked eye.
What happened next was something Eli Morrow could never have dreamed of. He saw the pretty red-haired girl slowly step forward, her delicate figure in front of all the spikes. She raised her snow-white hand, and a faint red glow was emitted from her palm. In an instant, the inertia on all the spikes Eli shot seemed to vanish. Their speed instantly zeroed in extremely anti-physical terms, and they eerily hung in mid-air, motionless.
And what happened next made him almost drop his jaw.
He saw the red-haired girl move her long, white fingers again, as if silently giving a command. Then all the spikes obediently turned their heads and locked on Eli, the myriad of spikes sending chills down his spine.
How can it be? This is clearly His creation, His power! What the hell is this...... What's going on?
