The two brothers did not run far, but hid in the grass by the roadside, and waited for the pursuing Jinyi guard to pass before getting up and running into the depths of the mountain. In this way, he slept in the mountains, fed on wild vegetables and beasts, and hid for 15 years, until his hair and beard did not look like a human form.

In the thirty-first year of Ming Taizu (1398), Zhu Yuanzhang died, Zhu Yunwen ascended the throne, and the "Yang Jing case" came to an end. When the two brothers saw that the wind had passed, they went down the mountain. At the bottom of the mountain, people didn't know them at all.

So, the brothers lived in seclusion at the foot of the mountain like a place of 10 miles, and they had lingering fears about the pursuit and killing of the year, and they were afraid of being caught and exterminated, so they did not interact with each other. Later, the two brothers were sent at the same time and changed their surnames to Ouyang, and after their deaths, no one in the ethnic group knew the origin of their ancestors.

It was not until the fall of the Ming Dynasty that when the children and grandchildren of Yang Zongde and Yang Zongfu were combined, they were surprised to find that their ancestors were actually brothers, and their respective fathers were called Gaozu, Yang Jing, who was born in Hefei, Luzhou.
