Chapter 208: Steel and Flame (Part II)

The demon that lost its head had no tactics, although it did not show intelligence while its head was still on its neck. However, this situation is even more obvious after the loss of the head. The demon's body has completely given up on keeping its distance from the dummy, and now it only wants to crush its opponent with its massive weight and physical strength.

This was obviously a bad decision, because when the Bugoid Demon desperately rushed towards the golem, the Rabbit Demon, who had been causing chaos at the dummy's feet, chose to jump into the air in order to dodge the attack that slammed down.

Without any struggle, the small demon instantly turned into an unsightly smudge under the squeeze of the two large heads, and then quickly turned into a beating flame like the head of the insect demon before.

But this little episode didn't stop what was about to happen, in fact, even if the head of the worm-type demon hadn't been dropped, with the demon's ferocious nature, it probably wouldn't care about killing its companion by mistake. And after giving the steel dummy a violent collision with his scaly-clad belly, the demon instinctively grabbed the puppet's two wrists with his fingered hands.

This may have been a problem that none of the creators of the dummy had ever thought of, and no one would have thought that the metal giant would one day meet an equal rival in terms of strength. So when the puppets that were already running at full speed still couldn't get rid of the suppression of the demons, the situation of the battle began to tilt in favor of the demons.

Tentacles-covered hedgehog-like demons protrude from the tips of tentacles, and while they can't pierce the dummy's shell, they can reach into the joints and cause structural damage. This was apparently much wiser than its previous attempts to control the golem's movements, and the golem's left leg was incapacitated as a burst of sparks erupted from the interface.

The helpless metal dummy swung wildly, trying to free himself from the demon's oppression, but the effort was in vain. If the worm-type demon had a head, it would have let out a cruel laugh, but even without a vocal organ, the demon's bone-spured arm was whipping the enemy's body wantonly, leaving dents in the metal plates.

However, perhaps because of the loss of the eye, the demon's arm inadvertently swept over the cylinder in the puppet's belly. The two rows of rapidly spinning cylinders instantly sucked in what they touched, and then spewed out a large amount of plasma. In the blink of an eye, more than half of the arm was gone, and the steel jaw was still rapidly sending the rest of the arm into the blood-stained mouth.

"Whew!"

Even though he lost his mouth, he still made a dull sound in his neck. The arm was hit so hard that even the demons in the abyss would be shaken. And the moment it grasped its opponent's hands relaxed, the steel dummy's arm broke free from the demon's grasp. The left arm of the puppet with a sharp blade slammed into the demon's bleeding neck from top to bottom, with the momentum of splitting gold and cracking stones!

With the sound of metal tearing leather, the dummy's blow caused the demon to crack a terrible twenty-centimeter-deep wound from his neck to his chest. A huge amount of demonic blood gushed out of the wound and splashed all over the dummy's body, and the flames that ignited made the steel golem look like it had come from hell!

"Quack!" Seeing the large demon that led him through the portal so badly that the hedgehog-type demon decided to flee almost instantly. For a demon, such a contract is not enough to fight for his life, after all, it is not like an insect demon that can rely on a huge body to regenerate, and the meat grinder in the puppet's belly is enough to make it disappear completely.

But the demon's reaction was still a step slower. Dummies don't wait for their attacks to work before thinking about their next move, like normal creatures. When the puppet's left arm struck the insect demon, its right hand had quietly reached the side of the small demon that had paralyzed its left leg. When the hedgehog demon was about to turn around and run back to the portal that was still on the ground and escape back into the abyss, a cage forged of steel had enveloped it.

Without mercy or hesitation, the dummy sent the evil creature he was holding in his right hand directly into the iron cylinder in his abdomen, causing the meat grinder, which had just calmed down, to squirt out thick blood again. The plasma was sprayed onto the walls and floors of the hallway, causing the fire to spread, but fortunately there didn't seem to be anything flammable other than the carpet on the floor.

"Wow, what an amazing creation. The cursed crow, who had been standing in the distance, watched as the demons he summoned were killed one by one by the steel dummies, but the expression on his face remained calm. It can even be seen that he showed a strong interest in the puppet.

"You're a real disappointment to me in comparison. The sorcerer said, and with a wave of his hand, the circle under his feet began to emit a color like demonic blood, but the color soon became deeper, and the appearance of the circle began to change. The three portals that had been open on the ground disappeared in an instant, which meant that the Raven no longer intended to continue the contract with the demon.

However, although the demon itself cannot be defeated by the dummy, the body of the Abyss Demon is still a rare spell casting material. The insect-type demon, already battered, apparently sensing the sorcerer's intentions, turned around with all its might, ignoring the enemy in front of it, and stretched out its two remaining arms towards the crow, trying to stop him.

"It's too late, idiot. The sorcerer said contemptuously, and the magic circle under his feet quickly dissolved, turning into dark brown energy chains that soared into the air and violently clinged to the demon's body, "Since you don't have the ability to complete the contract, then it is only natural that I use your soul and body to compensate for the loss, right?"

After saying that, there was no answer to this question at all, and the cursed crow silently tightened his outstretched hands, and the magical chains that entwined the demon also quickly melted into the demon's body with this movement. Soon, the color of the demon's skin changed from red to dark brown with the same color as the chain.

With a snap of his fingers, the dark brown demon's body exploded towards the steel golem, but the original flesh and bones had been transformed into some viscous liquid. The liquid spilled onto the dummy's body, making a sound of thick acid corroding the metal. As more and more dark brown liquid covered the metal golem's body, the golem's movements became slower and slower, and the energy pipes on its body became darker and darker.

Finally, when the metal dummy's eyes also turned the color of dead ash, the whole puppet stopped completely. And the remains of the demon have been consumed.

But before the Raven could breathe a sigh of relief, the sound of more heavy metal on the ground came from below the main tower. It sounded as if there was more than one metal dummy of this kind, and the behavior of the Cursed Crow just now undoubtedly woke them all up.
