Chapter Ninety-Three: The Foreshadowing of Fate
Jeffrey wasn't home the day he moved out of Brown's house.
After Easter, the third semester began.
It was April Day, and Qiqi and I moved into a small apartment. The area is not large, but the sparrows are small and have all kinds of organs. Compared to the Brown family's maid's room, it's not much better.
I think the air is all fresh. In five months, Qiqi will be in nursery. I had to adjust his caregiver a little more, and after some selection, on the last day of April, I finally settled on a Danish female caregiver named Madeleine. Her husband is Chinese, can communicate in Chinese, knows the British education system, and lives on the street next door to me.
The proximity of the distance is very satisfying for both of us.
Zuo Yi and Zheng Encheng both visited the small apartment and came to see Qiqi, and they both brought him small gifts.
"Call Uncle and Aunt." I said to Qi Qi in Chinese.
βNoγβ Zuo Yi immediately jumped out and interrupted me, "Call me Sister Zoe." She rolled her eyes at me, "I'm still unmarried, how can I call me Auntie." β
Here comes the cultural difference. I'm as good as I am," Sister Zoe. β
Zheng Encheng shook his head with a smile, stepped forward and lifted Qi Qi up, "Listen to your mommy, just call me Uncle Zheng." As she spoke, she grimaced at him.
Qiqi has always liked to be "lifted high", so he naturally laughed "giggles".
I would never do such a dangerous maneuver, and neither would I take care of it. Jeffrey used to do this, and if I caught him, I would stop it. "What will happen if I miss?!"
He always said, "I'm not going to miss it." β

It's not your switch, he can't afford to take the risk. He's still a baby. β
βOKοΌOKγβ Whenever this happens, he spreads his hands in disagreement and walks away. After walking less than two steps, he turned back and said, "Are you Chinese mothers so nervous about their children?" β
"Is this matter still country-specific?" I laughed. "I don't believe that British mothers can ignore their children when they see them?"
Jeffrey didn't answer, his blue eyes looked at me without blinking, and asked, "Can't your motherhood give me a tithe?" β
"Of course...... It's a bit difficult. I replied honestly, "You also said that it is motherhood." β
A woman's motherhood, in addition to being naturally revealed in front of her children, also arises when the beloved man shows her vulnerable side.
"Jeffrey, you can't find what you want and what you're missing." I said, "It's cruel to say that, but you know that it can make you a lot less hurt." β
Jeffrey longs for the ancient motherhood of Oriental women, and he projects this yearning for motherhood onto me, but motherhood cannot flow everywhere like mercury. If this motherhood is too widespread, it is the "heart of the Virgin".
I was about to graduate with my master's degree, and the next time I saw Jeffrey was when I went back to divorce old Brown. He is already preparing for the pre-university exam (GCE-A level), similar to the Chinese ...... College Entrance Examination.
The pressure of schoolwork had apparently made him look much thinner. I asked him, "Which school would you like to apply for in the future?" β
βUCLγβ He said, "I'll go there and look for you." β
I laughed, "I'm going to graduate." β
"You, not going further?" He looked at me strangely.
I groaned, "I'll have to think about it." β
After my divorce from Brown Sr., the suffix of my name changed from "B."

Chen Yinjun called. You will transfer the money promised to me back then to my account.
I faintly refused, not wanting to have anything to do with him anymore.
"Three years ago, this money was much more important to me. It wasn't used then, and it's not needed now. β
Chen Yinjun didn't understand what I meant, he was silent for a moment, and then said, "You are a character." β
I laughed and didn't buy his account: "Life is compelling, don't think highly of me." β
"Even if you come back now, you may not fall in love with Chen Yuyao", Chen Yinjun said, "Now, he is no longer worthy of you." β
I was disgusted by his words, so Ci Feng became unpolite: "Three years ago, I didn't deserve him. Now, he's not unworthy of me. It's all people, who is cheaper? I paused, and then said, "Mr. Chen, from now on, please don't call me anymore, and don't track my movements anymore." If you're not afraid that Chen Yuyao will find me along your line. β
Without waiting for him to answer, I cut off the phone. After thinking about it, he took out the mobile phone card again and threw it into the fish tank.
When I looked up, I saw Qi Qi, who was holding the toy car that Zuo Yi gave him, looking at me in a daze.
"Mommy, why are you crying?"
"Nope." I responded with a smile and raised my hand to wipe it, only to notice that my cheek was wet.

.β I bent down and stretched out my arms to him, and Qiqi immediately threw away the toy car and jumped over and threw herself into my arms. After coming out of Brown's house, he was noticeably closer, for he had been with him the longest time I had been with besides taking care of Madeleine, and he had finally figured out what "Mommy" meant.
I am twenty-four years old, and in ancient China women of this age were called "Hua Xin Nianhua". But I am in the prime of my life, and my emotional line seems to have been overdrawn a few years ago.
The second natal year. The twelve earthly branches have passed two rounds, and for me, the most important things in life have been replaced.
At the age of twelve, the most important dream in his life was Chen Yuyao. Because of my yearning for him, I have been flying higher.
At the age of twenty-four, Chen Yuyao's appearance had long been blurred. Qiqi's peace and joy are the things I care about the most at the moment.
I didn't give him life, so I gave him everything I could give him.
The rosary sent me an email to greet me, but the letter did not mention the child, but only asked me: "You must have been in London for so long, you must have seen Big Ben, right?" β
"Well, it's not far from the academy. You can see it every day. I replied.
The rosary suddenly asked such a question, which made me feel as if she had something on her mind.
"What's wrong?" I asked her.
"Nothing." She said, "I received the letter I wrote back then, 'Send to the Future'. β
Send it to the future? Oh, that must be the story that happened in 'Cat Kong'.
As soon as she said this, I remembered that during the winter vacation of my junior year of high school, I made an appointment with the rosary to review there. She pulled out two postcards and asked me which one I liked, and I pointed to the one with Big Ben. I just thought it was more eye-catching, and I didn't expect it to be so close to it today.
At that time, I was still "renting" the house that Chen Yuyao had found for me, and I was not keen on "sending it to the future". But the rosary said that it was a big deal to send it to her home, when she was immersed in her love affair with Situ Que, thinking that she might never leave S City for the rest of her life.
Unable to withstand her repeated urgings, I wrote down a line of hope: I hope to see the real Big Ben one day.
In a word, it is a prophecy.
I was about to reply these words to the rosary, who knew that she sent a line first: "I went with my parents today to apply for immigration, as short as half a year, as long as three or five years." β
"Where?" I asked, tapping on the keyboard.
"Seattle, USA." She paused, and quickly sent another one, "Isn't it fatalistic?" β
The Space Needle, printed on the postcard that the rosary was holding at the time, was one of Seattle's most famous landmarks.
I couldn't help but ask, "What is your wish written on that letter?" β
The rosary was silent for a long time, so long that I thought she was offline, and then waited for her reply: "Have a lovely baby with the person I love, and then live happily ever after." β
Now it was my turn to be silent, and my fingers moved in vain, without typing a word.
What can be said? I'm sorry? Thank you? Or is it a weak-hearted and powerless consolation like "it will be achieved later"?
In the end, I decided to face it head-on: "I wish you happiness. I'll take care of Qiqi. β
I know I'm selfish, but I really can't live without him right now.
The rosary replied, "What you feared, it will never happen." I am eternally grateful to you, and I believe that you can give him a good life. That's what I believed at first. Don't feel guilty, you helped me. I knew I didn't have the energy to take care of him at the time, and I was lucky to have him behind, thanks to you. β
Seeing her words, I really felt ashamed.
I said, "I didn't expect that one day, we would be so far from home." β
The rosary replied: "My hometown has become a sad place. Isn't it the same everywhere? β
Yes, the farther away the quieter.
Eventually, I chose to pursue my PhD. Zuo Yi went to Cambridge, while Zheng Encheng went to the philosophy department of KCL (King's College London) for interdisciplinary training, and he wanted to get a scholarship for interdisciplinary training.
Even though we didn't see each other every day like we used to, we formed a strong friendship. On weekends, they still come to my place often to make tooth sacrifices.
Jeffrey got his wish and got into college, but instead of UCL, he attended Cass Business School.
Originally, I didn't know the news, but one day I posted a message on INS about Qi Qi in Nu

Y extracurricular activities competition photo, he replied below: "Envy! I'm so busy with my schoolwork right now, and I really want to relive my kindergarten life. β
I replied, "I'm already in college." Keep it up. β
He gave the name of the school. Cass Business School, located in the heart of the City of London, is ranked 4th in the UK business schools and the top 2 business schools in London. I didn't understand what else he was dissatisfied with, and I replied, "Swish! (Fantastic). And he said, "But."
ot UCLγ β
I was speechless about that.
