Chapter 21: The Tao
In the Spring and Autumn Period, Li Er's Tao Te Ching [Tao Te Ching] was the most primitive beginning of the Tao!
Taoism is different from Taoism, although they all worship Lao Tzu as the ancestor, but Taoism only learns the truth, and Taoism has added a lot of methods through many scholars and sects in later generations.
What we are going to talk about today is the doctrine of Taoism!
Road!
This word has been integrated into the bones, everyone will understand! But if you want to truly understand and comprehend, there are very few people in the world!
Taoism is the only one of China's native teachings that was written by the ancestors themselves. His [Tao Te Ching] 5,000 words is the most broad-minded work, and it is also the best book on the road to holiness.
In it, Lao Tzu profoundly expounded the rules of operation of the Great Dao and the differentiation of all rules.
As the first person in the holy realm in the historical record, Lao Tzu is obsessed with one, and there is and there is none. Expounding the way of heaven, the rules spoken of are all-encompassing, and all the academic rules can basically be summarized in his words. It can be said that he is a saint with the most long-term and broad vision in the human world!
The most authentic Taoism should be the study of Lao Tzu!
Don't learn the learning of Zhuangzi, the learning of Zhuangzi is not the learning from copying the Great Dao, but the learning of the predecessors, and then for your own use, the learning made in it has many prejudices and loopholes, and the learning of the sage who copied the Great Dao or the Great Enlightenment Dao is different.
All Chinese learning is derived from the premise of stabilizing human beings, but only Lao Tzu jumped out of the scope of human beings, and reached the scope of heaven and earth, although the holy realm of the saints is the same, but the distinction is very large, like the holy realm of Guiguzi, the control of yin and yang, with the sage, the study of the evolution of the world is the holy science of human wisdom and cunning, Confucius knows the order, keeps the mean, and derives the way of man, which is also a balanced way for group human behavior. Wang Yangming's unity of knowledge and action, the way of derivation and action, is still within the scope of human activities, but the way of Lao Tzu is different, he first tells the avenue of heaven and earth, and then intact and allows human beings to integrate into it, which is the way of integration, not the way of copying.
Copying the Tao changer, it is easy to make a big hypocrisy, but the Tao melter can only tend to perfection, because human beings are not as precise and ingenious as the balance of heaven and earth in many wisdom and thinking, so Lao Tzu expounds the Tao in a way that there is no way, so that people can recognize the rules of heaven and earth, and then integrate into it, this technique can be called perfect.
However, mankind has entered this new era, and all situations cannot return to the unknown time, so Taoism can only cultivate one's self and cultivate one's nature to stabilize the people's use, and can no longer integrate into the use of heaven and earth. During the time of Emperor Wen of the Han Dynasty, he pursued the way of Huang Lao, and the people lived and worked in peace and contentment, self-reliance, few words and few desires, and the country was rich and the people were strong, which played the most successful role in stabilizing the world. This is the foundation of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty!
Lao Tzu's inaction is an indisputable truth, it is to go to the acquired action, but to the innate action! However, Zhuangzi misinterpreted its meaning and rejected it all the days after tomorrow. Innate inaction, acquired inaction, tend to Buddhism to escape the world, for the individual self-cultivation is a big help, but not for the whole, directly misunderstood inaction. If it weren't for the Tao Te Ching as the first scripture, I am afraid that future generations would be misled by Zhuangzi again!
And the saint that Lao Tzu said is a saint in the real holy realm, Zhuangzi obviously did not reach the holy realm, so he does not understand what a saint is, and the saint he criticizes is a saint like Confucius. And because he doesn't understand the rules of Confucius's holy way, he mistakenly speaks of sainthood!
[Tao Te Ching] Chapter 19: Absolute sainthood and abandonment of wisdom, the people benefit a hundred times; Absolute benevolence and abandonment of righteousness, and the people restore filial piety; There are no thieves who abandon profit.
This chapter is contrary to Lao Tzu's thoughts, it must not be the original text, if it is the words of Zhuangzi, then Zhuangzi must not reach the holy realm, if it is not the words of Zhuangzi, then this chapter is changed by later generations, and it can be removed without use!
Moreover, there are too many loopholes in the book of Zhuangzi, I am afraid that it is not the work of the original people, and there are also the thoughts of later generations!
Zhuangzi's words of [thief] not only failed to stabilize the society, but were clever and pseudo-magical, and they were certainly not written by himself!
Therefore, if you learn Taoism, Zhuangzi can only be used as an auxiliary book, not as a main book, or to focus on the Tao Te Ching, but when watching the Tao Te Ching, there are many places that have been modified by later generations, and you must be careful and vigilant.
Therefore, those who are enlightened and do learning, must not enter the family, otherwise they will trap themselves in the well, which is a big taboo. However, those who are enlightened must insist on following the same path, and the difference between these two is very great, and we must distinguish them clearly. The enlightened person is to follow the innate path to find, and the scholar is to follow the footprints of the predecessor, so that if you take the wrong path, you don't know, and the road ahead is limited, where the predecessors go, you will stop there, and you must not move forward, which is already contrary to the road of finding the avenue. He can only be used as a secondary position to help us, not as a primary position for us to follow!
Even if the blue is better than the blue, it is only a pseudo-saint realm, and it cannot reach the realm of a saint, let alone copy the Great Dao and create your own heavenly path!
Of course, the essence of Zhuangzi is also the majority, but it is only compared with Lao Tzu and the Holy Realm, which will seem insufficient!
What is the Tao? Many people are speculating in various ways, in fact, the Tao is the rule, the collective name of all the rules, and all the rules are the same, it is called the Tao!
Therefore, when it comes to giving birth to one, this one is the rule. It's a kind of running rule. And the second life is that things are intervened by human beings or embodied in human beings, and there are two opposites that are listed by the day after tomorrow. For example, yin and yang, existence and absence, good and bad, good and evil, and various states of the two poles are actually the embodiment of two sides as one. In the end, the two beget three, this three can be called the combination of yin and yang, the existence of each other, or the state of transformation of the two poles, in which the trajectory of transformation is called qi, that is, the state of the two poles being angry, impulsing and thinking that the sum is three, and the third is the way of all operations, including human beings, and the way of transformation of the avenue. That's why it's called the Three Lives!
The Tao Te Ching is the highest achievement of Taoism, and it is also one of the few books recorded by the sages that has left a real treatise on Taoism. The first chapter is the first chapter that best captures the whole of the book.
However, because in the Spring and Autumn Period, including the pre-Qin period, and even in the entire history of the Chinese land, all research and scholarship were people-oriented, and the academics that thought on the basis of a stable group society could also be called the way of man, so at that time, the Book of Virtues came first, and the Book of Tao came last. However, our current era is dominated by nature, and there are more choices than stable societies and people, so we ignore the Dejing. And because Emperor Wu deposed the hundred schools of thought and respected Confucianism alone, after changes, the [Tao Te Ching] became the [Tao Te Ching] in fact, the whole has no impact, that is, some of them are post-tampered chapters, to be corrected, although I don't know what the original text is, and because its age may have been lost in the long river of history, but there are indeed some words and chapters that have the opposite effect on the overall thought, so the Tao Te Ching can not be all the body and mind superstition.
On the whole, Taoist thought is the most suitable for human beings, and it is also the one that is closest to the Great Dao, and it is the one that can most stabilize human beings, but because of its idea of less desire, or even less desire, although it is in line with the balance of the Heavenly Dao, and not excessive, but it is not in line with the progress of human beings, so in the later generations, in this emerging era, even if they all understand, it is difficult to implement, and can only be used as a role of enlightenment and auxiliary management!
