Chapter 7 (Large Part)
"Well......" Rey's eyes fixed on one of the white tubes above his head, "I don't know much about that. "Oh?" Blake tilted his head, feeling a little confused. "After all, this is what my brother Lei Cheng told me." Rey replied, "I wasn't born when these things happened. "Then leave that alone." Blake shrugged, "No matter. "Let's go." Rey picked up his searchlight and turned it off, hanging it from his belt with a special device. Blake complied, and made a forward gesture towards the front door.
Walking through the door, they found a large laboratory inside, and the place where they stood looked like a general command platform. On the table to the right of the podium was some paper that was basically full of words and illustrations, while on the left was nothing. Rey walked over to the table, picked up one of the papers, and looked at it with interest. Blake walked over and glanced at it, and saw that it was written in the language of Helka, and immediately lost interest. Blake just didn't like Helka's language very much—he thought it was too cumbersome to read or write. So, he walked to the left and looked down through the cracked glass. He discovered that the laboratory was larger than the Celestial's captain's quarters.
The laboratory is circular, like a lecture hall on the Ziyang, with a total of three staircases. However, each staircase is wide, and each staircase is connected by two steps. Among them, the first floor is the smallest, and the area of the upper three floors increases in turn. There's a large area in the middle of the lab where nothing is left, and I don't know if the original thing was moved or if the scientists liked to make it like this. On each side of the first floor were three large arc-shaped test benches, on which were placed various energy crystals and some instruments that Blake had never seen before. On the second level, there are test tubes, beakers, and other experimental tools on the countertop, which are either placed on shelves or tables, or dumped on the countertop. Some of them still have a little liquid left in them, and some of them have more or less crystals mixed in them.
On the third floor, there are multiple alcohol lamps and alcohol blowtorches standing on the countertop, on which various flasks are shelved. The alcohol in the alcohol lamp is long gone, and I don't know if it has been burned out long ago, or if it has volatilized into the air since then. For some reason, the walls of the flask became so blurry that there was no way to tell what was inside. Some of the strangely shaped bottles on the countertop are connected by long or short hoses or hard pipes of transparent unknown material, and some of the liquids contained are also strange, with some strange colors that cannot be named.
"Rey," Blake asked, holding his neck with one hand on his waist and the other around the back of his head, "what are you studying here?" New energy? Rey withdrew his gaze from the paper, looked up, and replied, "No, it doesn't look like ......" "And what is written on those pieces of paper?" Seeing that Rey wasn't sure, Blake backed away - to figure out what he was sure of first. It is supposed to be an illustrated diary of a researcher. Rey shrugged, "It's all about everyday chores, who squirts water and who farts in public." "This ......" Blake was a little overwhelmed for a moment - he had thought that some highly confidential things would be recorded on paper, but he didn't expect it to be just such a daily triviality. The person who remembered these events also carefully illustrated them. Seeing that Blake didn't speak, Rey continued, "Presumably they've been locked up in this place for a long time, and that's all that's left for entertainment." ”
"Didn't you remember anything else?" Blake felt a little disappointed. Rey picked up the paper again, and scanned it quickly, looking for a text he had just seen. LATER, HE SAID, "THE NAME OF THE EXPERIMENT WAS ALSO MENTIONED: TREE OF ENERGY (HERE IT WAS CHANGED TO THE ENGLISH ALPHABET FOR EASE OF READING, ORIGINALLY KNOWN AS THE ANCIENT HELKA STAR ALPHABET). "Huh?" Blake gave a polite, puzzled expression. "Ah, this is the ancient Helka Star language." Rey immediately explained to Black, "That translates to the Energy Tree. "So this is a new energy experiment, right? Or is it some weird energy replication experiment? Blake raised an eyebrow.
"Oh!" Rey screamed suddenly, pointing to a round gray metal block on the central floor. "What's there?" Blake asked. "I think it should be a switch." Rey put down the paper he was holding and replied. "I'll take a look." Rey gathered his energy and flew through the shattered glass wall and landed next to the metal block. He crouched down and touched the piece of metal with his hand. Sure enough, the block of metal began to slowly rise, turning into a waist-length metal column. "Please enter your password." This is the same as the electronic female voice on the Ziyang. Blake scratched his neck with his left hand, thinking. Nodding his head as he scratched his neck, Blake noticed a dusty piece of paper under the table.
Blake bent down, picked up the paper, and blew it. Although there was still only Helka's star on it, he felt that he had no choice but to settle. Blake found that the writing on the paper was messy, and it should have been written when something happened in the lab.
The original text on the paper is as follows:
He cut off the energy supply. I can't believe he actually did. So people are crazy. It's a mess here. The only exit was closed in one direction. At this rate, the remaining oxygen will be used up within a day. Dr. Hermien sat on the bench and smoked. If only the experiment was done. I knew it was only a matter of time before he stepped down, but I didn't think we'd all have to bury him.
To the final TGTD
