Chapter 41: Who Sleeps the Last
Ziyang, rest cabin, lounge E, room 408. Neuer sat in the hovering chair, then stood up again. He just stood like that, and twenty seconds later he sat back down. A minute later, he stood up again. Neuer was troubled, partly because he had nothing else to do but learn the ancient Helkasian language, and partly because he had received a text message a week earlier—from Blake—early in the morning, when he had just gotten up. He didn't know how to reply to the letter, so he sat at the metal table and looked at the letter displayed on his electronic board in a daze, and tried to reply several times but didn't know what to reply. He wrote several times and deleted several times the letters he replied to, but he was not satisfied, and felt that the contents of the replies always showed the terrible fact that he was a fool.
He deleted and wrote, and wrote, and wrote, and wrote, and deleted, so that he forgot all the early morning washing, and was almost late for the morning class to learn the ancient Hull Changxing language. However, although he was not late, he was still scolded by others for being severely speeding in the ship's corridor. He was thinking about something else, so much so that he turned a deaf ear to the warning he had been given, "The next time you speed in the corridor of the ship, write me a thousand-word review." Fortunately, though, he had some talent for learning the ancient Helka language - these talents alone could make Blake ignore him and understand even the slightest desertion in class. However, the reply to Blake was really about him for the whole week. That is, until now he has not written back to Blake! The content of the reply changed every day, and he became more anxious day by day. "Ah, it's zero." He glanced at the metal alarm clock in the corner of his desk, and exclaimed—he had only realized that he had been idle for two hours. Then, he remembered that he had forgotten to take a shower again today.
"Headache." He rubbed his eyes vigorously with his hands, then slapped his head a few times with his hands and said. "Bad life, not good." He muttered to himself as he strode into the bathroom. "The most typical negative teaching material of the entire fleet, the talent with chaotic work and rest time." As he spoke, he walked through the bathroom and slammed the bathroom door shut. Then he remembered that he had forgotten to take off his clothes again. He slammed the bathroom door open again and strode out of the bathroom. He opened the laundry box, then took off all the clothes on his body three times and shoved them into the laundry box haphazardly. He turned around and strode back to the bathroom, closing the laundry box in the process. Fortunately, the laundry box is automatic, otherwise he would have forgotten to turn on the "laundry" function of the laundry box. Neuer shouldn't have been so confused, but he's been a little confused by himself lately.
Meanwhile...... HMS Byron, Rest Cabin, Lounge C, Room 314. Elandi had just turned off the lights and was lying on the bed. He couldn't wait to teach himself two lessons of the Ancient Helka Star course tonight, and he learned it well. In fact, he's been doing it for a week. However, it's not because he wants to study hard and work more smoothly and hard. He was counting on learning well to be able to crush Neuer and let him know that he had deliberately provoked himself before. "I'm supposed to be the last one in the fleet." He rolled over on the bed that wasn't wide and muttered to himself. Then, he almost fell out of bed. "What a bed!" He cursed. It wasn't the first time he'd scolded something like that, and yet he had almost fallen out of bed.
He had tried to put the hovering chair next to the bed, but that one time he turned over in his sleep that night, the hovering chair slid away and he rolled to the ground. It's a good thing he didn't wake up then, otherwise he wouldn't have fallen asleep all night - he would have been angry all night. "Sleep, sleep." He waved his hand, showing an expression that didn't care about stupid people, and said. Or rather, to deal with stupid beds or hoverchairs...... "I should have taken the honorary title of 'Fleet's Latest Sleep Record Holder.'" He closed his eyes and said slowly. He fell asleep immediately. He had just fallen asleep when Neuer had just gone into the bathroom to take a shower.
"Annoying." Neuer came out of the bathroom and grumbled as he fell headfirst into the bed. He didn't even bother to put on his pajamas, so he fell asleep in bed. He closed his eyes as he thought, "Anyway, who knows." It seems that he and Blake think the same thing in this regard. "I'm sure I'm the last ...... in the entire fleet," he said, his voice getting quieter and quieter, and by the last word, he was almost inaudible. Neuer also fell asleep and forgot to turn off the lights in the lounge. After five minutes, the automatic light turned off after a routine check of his status, and the ancient Helka would not allow anyone to forget to turn off the lights and consume unnecessary energy all night.
USS Byron, Rest Cabin, Lounge Room 001. Rey sat at the metal table, his fingers constantly sliding over the screen of the electronic board placed on the metal table. The screen of the electronic board displays complex three-dimensional graphics and various numbers, which are also marked with different colors. He's designing something, and he's been designing it for a whole week. It didn't seem like the conversation with Ervinda affected his form tonight – he was still playing as normal. "Warning, warning." Suddenly, a cold electronic female voice sounded, and the electronic board in front of him suddenly went black, and then several big red letters were displayed. "Huh?" Rey was so focused on the design that he didn't react for a moment. Then, a video starts playing automatically on the screen. "Oops!" Rey screamed, and with a "snap", the electronic board was turned over.
"The crew of the Ziyang, rest cabin, room 408 in the E section of the rest room, behaved abnormally for seven consecutive days, were they detained? The crew of the Ziyang, rest cabin, room 408 in the E section of the rest room, behaved abnormally for seven consecutive days, was detained? The electronic female voice didn't stop because the electronic board made a mistake, but still said unhurriedly. Here we go again......" Rey muttered to himself in a low voice. He didn't have to look at it to know what was on the screen, but the first few times he had encountered this situation, he had taken a curious look, and then he hadn't slept well the few times. "The volume is too low to detect, please increase the volume or bring the sound source closer." An electronic female voice sounded. "Blake and Neuer, can't the two of them get dressed properly...... Today is the second time......" Rey grumbled in a low voice. What made him even more unhappy was that Neuer was okay, he was almost used to doing that every Sunday this day. But Blake ...... What's going on with him today?! What made Rey feel even more excessive: he looked at it with curiosity. As a result, shortly after seeing that look, he went to Ervinda for a video call.
"The volume is too low to detect, please increase the volume or bring the sound source closer." The electronic female voice sounded again. "Ignore this person today, and leave it alone." Rey said aloud in standard ancient Helka. "The order will take effect and be placed on the key watch list for tomorrow." Rey rolled his eyes at his electronic board as the electronic female voice sounded, but he would never do that outside. He was tempted to say, "Ignore this person in the future, leave it alone", but based on his first experience, the conversation with the electronic female voice would be endless: "Ignore this person in the future, don't care." "Warning, this person behaves abnormally, and ignoring it could cause significant losses to the fleet." "Ignore this person in the future." "Warning, this person behaves abnormally, ignoring which can cause significant losses to the fleet. Think again. "I thought about it, ignore this person." "Warning, this person is behaving abnormally......" ......
Rey waited for a minute, seeing that his electronic board was not moving, and then slowly flipped the screen back. Sure enough, back to the design area. He thought that he probably didn't have much to do with the design tonight, so he saved what he had designed and turned off the screen of the electronic board. As he stood up, he stumbled upon a metal alarm clock placed in the corner of the table. "It's midnight thirty,......" he frowned, and then said, "It's a little late today...... but he wasn't like Neuer, who had taken a shower before going on his private work for the evening. "I guess the last person in the entire fleet slept on." Rey whispered as he turned off the light with his hand. He lay down in the middle of the bed, horizontally, and folded his hands over his chest. He closed his eyes, but his mind kept looping a fragment of an ancient Helka march. I don't know how long it took, but he rolled over to the inside of the bulkhead and lay on his side, but his mind was still playing the clip that never seemed to stop. After another unknown amount of time, he fell asleep in a daze. A second before he actually fell asleep, all he could think about was his video call with Ervinda today.
