Chapter 13: Silence to the Dust (I)
Some of the Byron's experimenters cracked the recorder of Lab 6 in the early hours of the morning three days ago, and they secretly transmitted the data directly to Rey, and then destroyed the recorder permanently by special means. They knew what the recorder meant, so they trusted Rey to understand what they were doing. The crew of the Byron inherited almost everything from the ancient Helkas, though they never considered themselves to be ancient Helkas. They were sure that the recorder's records would only be seen by Rey alone—not even for a second. Then Rey thought that what to do with the records was Rey's own business, and they were sure that they just had to follow the command.
The information was encrypted in three layers, though no one else would steal it - at that point in time, only the Byron was still in Laboratory Six. Everything in Laboratory Six fascinated the Byron's experimenters, and they couldn't help but brag about what they had seen to their colleagues in their lab every day when they returned. Although the experimenters who were not assigned to this task also wanted to go with them, seeing that Rey was very busy and it was difficult to apply to him for such a thing, they had to stay in their own laboratory while doing experiments, and at the same time seize the opportunity to beat their chests. Multiple encryption so they feel at ease, that's all. It's just that Rey was so busy discussing the problem with Blake that he ignored the information. By the time he saw that message, it was already three days later.
HMS Byron, Rest Cabin, Lounge No. 001. Rey sat at a metal table, on which the personal electronic board rested on a special small instrument — tilted at just the right angle. An encrypted message was displayed on the screen of the set up personal electronic board, which he was now decrypting with his personal clearance. According to the information, it was the usual channel for the Byron experimenter, and it was sent to his mailbox three days ago. He remembered that he had sent some of them to the newly discovered Sixth Laboratory to look for clues, and now it was clear that they had discovered something. But they don't report through the normal channels, what's the deal with encrypting everything to him? The "drop" sound of the personal electronic board reminds Rey that the decryption is complete, and Rey suddenly has a heart beat and has a very bad premonition. He looked at the screen of the electronic board and saw that the amount of information was very large. Rey shook his head vigorously, reminding himself not to think too much about it, and was going to take a look at it first.

It's too much! Finally let me finish my previous experiments! That could potentially reduce the power consumption of the Helka Star by 15 percent!
Whatever is said is for the sake of Helka...... They forcibly tied us here! I'm going to sue the Hall of Elders! I'm the top energy experimenter on the Divine Sky!
[Dr. Sukka Sie Meja]

The proposal he came up with appealed to everyone, and it was crazy! But I like it! Who doesn't love madness?! It's so fascinating! We can finally touch the laws of the world! Thanks Helka!
This is unique...... We're going to be epic!
- Miranda S. Dr. K. Kriwa

We were taken to a sixth lab, and no one knew where it was. To be honest, I was a little worried...... He's not all that credible.
I begged the guard who brought me over and asked him if he could let me go home and get my daughter's picture, and he only told me that there was nothing he could do.
I don't want to embarrass him. He was just a guard, acting on orders.

A month passed like a second, I didn't want to sleep, no one wanted to sleep, who would want to sleep?! We all know we're going to accomplish the feat, it's just a matter of time!
Why did I want to say no in the first place? It must have been Dr. Mejia who was making too much noise! I'm now looking forward to the next fusion test!
- Moroka Lou Dr. G. Dela

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! The energy ratio of seeds is definitely not like this! Do it all over again! Do it all over again! Do it all over again! To change to a more perfect ratio!
Why do you always fail?! We're going to crush this nasty thing!
[Dr. Sukka Sie Meja]
Six
Why are people always in such a hurry? Isn't it just five hundred and eighty-one failures? Believe me, it's very little. I? I'm not in a hurry at all. God cares for us, doesn't he?
——T· Dr. Z. Hermien
Seven
Five years, we spent five years staying here! We're finally done with the fusion of seeds! That's great! I can't wait to announce this right away!
Tens of thousands of times! Or hundreds of thousands of times?! I've lost count! As long as the results of this experiment are put on the top, the Shenkong can also be promoted to a first-class battleship!
[Dr. Sukka Sie Meja]
Eight
Everybody's crazy...... Me too. It's a lot more interesting than extracting the elven energy of those stupid Cross Star Elves. The steady fusion of those energies would have previously been considered a violation of the laws of the universe.
The rest is much simpler, at least that's what I think. I wonder what will happen if you fuse the energies of all the non-Helka elf races in the Pano system together? I'm looking forward to it.
[Dr. Benjamesy Solo Kekerry

Why don't you let us out? Is it our performance that doesn't satisfy him? Please, we're experimenters, not lowly alien slaves! After working for so long, I need to take a day off! What's going on with this attitude of captivity!
There's a kind of him on his own! He's asking for too much!
- Moroka Lou Dr. G. Dela

Seven years, we've been in this place for seven years. From the initial excitement and madness, to the current exhaustion and negativity, I can't believe that we are once those experimentalists who stood at the top of the scientific community in Helka!
Everyone was so tired, but no one believed they had reached their limit. The guard who used to talk to me came in the middle of the night, and his eyes were of different colors, and I was always impressed.
He was wounded, with a large gash in the arm. Of course, this is not a big problem for us. The instrument is in good condition and has sufficient energy...... He wanted to stay overnight, probably because he was too tired.
He should be thankful for my insomnia, otherwise he would have had to be reconstructed. That's a lot more uncomfortable!
——R· Dr. J. Melion
Eleven
I want to get out of here! It's a cage here! I don't know, are we experimenters, or are we his slaves?! We will succeed, but I don't want to be history before we succeed!
No...... No! I don't want to stay in this place all the time! Please, let me go back to my own lab chamber! Space...... Space! Be sure to open up the space!
- Miranda S. Dr. K. Kriwa

I knew he wasn't at ease! Brought us here so roughly, trapped us here so roughly! Experiment...... The experiment must be successful!
Radical? Who hasn't been radical?! Once we've successfully completed this experiment, I'll use the report to smooth his face! He'll regret everything he's done!
[Dr. Sukka Sie Meja]
A baker's dozen
Failure is a curse imposed on us by those lowly alien elves, and our experiments have not progressed in the slightest since we successfully synthesized the seed two years ago. Our experimental data is all wrong, it's terrible, isn't it?
God will not give up on His people, and I have always believed that. We're just accumulating experience for future success, aren't we...... Am I making a fool of myself?
——T· Dr. Z. Hermien

The guard came again at lunchtime, this time with more serious injuries. Everyone was so happy that someone else was finally able to come and see, and no one was in the mood to eat, so they were about to tear up the treatment machine.
If it weren't for the implantation of that instrument, I'm afraid everyone would rush out the moment the passage opened, right? And now, everyone is just asking him how he did it. He said he was unlucky to have been hit by an uncovered box with a weapon.
——R· Dr. J. Melion

We did it right, we did it right! Go on! Go on! We are one step closer to success! That's it, that's it! Just be more precise! As long as it is more accurate, it can be stable! As long as there is a channel, all this is no longer a problem!
- Miranda S. Dr. K. Kriwa
