Introduction: A bullet that pierces the darkness

There was a fire burning in the depths of the cave, and several soldiers shivered around it, their clothes were ragged and their faces were hideous, and they were obviously hungry and cold. Next to them were several 38-year-old Ariyama rifles and an 11-year-old light machine gun, as well as a mortar. The murderous weapons were silent at this time, emitting a cold light like death.

The soldiers were babbling and talking, as if discussing something.

In one of the corners of the cave, a wounded soldier lay moaning, his swollen knees wrapped in bandages, and blood oozed from them. The wounded soldier's moans grew louder and louder, and then turned into howls. His face was exaggeratedly distorted, and thick tears flowed from his eyes.

Suddenly there was a noise outside the cave.

The soldiers stopped talking, their ears pricked up in alarm, and a look of horror appeared on their faces.

A swarm of bats flew in from outside the cave, and the soldiers breathed a sigh of relief.

Bats fluttered around in the cave, fanning the cold wind.

Several soldiers around the fire spotted the group of bats and stood up in unison, and their eyes turned wherever the bats flew.

One of the soldiers swallowed hard, his thick Adam's apple grunting. He suddenly picked up a rifle and slammed the butt at the flying bat. The butt of the gun did not hit the bat, which swept over his head. He raised the butt of his rifle again, waiting for another bat to arrive. The soldiers' eyes fell on the butt of the soldier's rifle held aloft. Another bat flew towards it with a swoop, and the soldier threw it at the bat with the butt of his rifle held high, and the bat, which had been hit, squeaked and fell to the ground and fluttered. The soldier stuck a bayonet in the bat's body, picked it up and put it on the fire to grill.

The bat struggled in the fire, "squeaked" and spilled urine, and the bat's urine fell into the fire like a thin thread. The fire engulfed the thin thread, and quickly scorched the bat's fur, and the bat's body curled up in a clattering smell.

The soldiers smelled the burnt smell of bats and swallowed their saliva one by one.

They were so hungry that even the wounded soldier in the corner stopped howling and breathed in the scorching smell of bats, as if the scorching smell of bats could satisfy hunger.

The soldiers all picked up their guns from the ground, and these murderous weapons became their tools for capturing bats. The bats, which kept flying around in the cave, were hit hard and fell to the ground. The soldiers followed the example of piercing the bats that had fallen to the ground with bayonets and putting them in the fire for barbecue. The desperate cries of bats echoed in the cave, and the smell of burnt bats in the cave gradually became stronger.

The soldiers put the half-baked bat in their mouths and tore it, then swallowed it eagerly, the corners of their mouths covered with bat blood...... A greedy grin crossed their faces. The soldiers hoped that another flock of bats would fly in from outside the cave so that they would satisfy their appetites. However, they waited for a long time, and the bats did not fly in. While they were eating the roasted bats, no one noticed the wounded soldier in the corner, he had no way to stand up, let alone the ability to catch the bat, he could only smell the scorched smell of the bats, let the hungry bugs in his stomach scream wildly, and at last, he let out a desperate howl. The wounded soldier was even worried that these comrades of his might be roasted and eaten like a roasted bat when they were hungry.

The wounded soldier's eyes widened with horror.

No one paid attention to him, and the soldiers, who had bat meat in their stomachs, gathered around the fire again, chattering about something. They must have been discussing how to escape from this place of death. As they spoke, the soldier who had started batting stood up, and walked toward the hole with a rifle in both hands, pulling the bolt and loading the bullet as he went. The soldiers screamed at him, deaf to the anxious cries of his comrades. One by one, the soldiers stood up and looked at him nervously, their eyes shining with horror.

It was pitch black outside the cave.

In the darkness that could not be dissolved, what was hidden, the soldiers knew nothing.

Suddenly, the cry of an owl was heard outside the cave.

The owl's cry was terrifying, like a soul-seducing order from the depths of hell.

The soldier came to the mouth of the cave with his gun in his hand, and looked out, but he could see nothing, there were no stars or moon in the sky, and he believed that there was a thick cloud of lead in the sky.

He thought he had to get out of the cave or he would die in the cave.

Just as he was the first to discover that bats can also be edible, he may be the first to walk out of this hole, before five people died after walking out of the hole, including their chief. Tonight, he may be able to escape from the cave through the darkness that cannot be dissolved. His steps began to explore outside the cave, and he took the first step cautiously.

The soldiers in the cave fell silent and held their breath, even the wounded soldier who howled in pain was silent, and the air froze.

The soldier took another step forward.

Even though he couldn't see anything, his eyes were wide open, and the index finger of his right hand was on the trigger.

He took another step forward, this time a big step, and he walked out of the cave completely. A gust of wind blew, the owl's voice disappeared, and the sound of pine waves sounded in the mountain forest.

He smelled a breath that he would never want to smell, a breath that came with the wind.

This is the breath of death.

By the time he felt the breath of death, it was too late.

He heard a sharp sound coming through the wind.

A bullet, a bullet that pierced through the darkness, came at him.

The bullet pierced his brow mercilessly, and before he could take a step back, he fell to the mouth of the cave.

The soldiers in the cave watched him fall, none of them spoke, their eyes were full of fear, the fear of death, none of them knew where the gun that fired the deadly bullet was hidden in the mountain, they only knew that as soon as any of them stepped out of this cave, they would be hit by a mysterious bullet, whether it was a sunny day or a dark night......
