Chapter 2: Snowy Night

Tonight, light snow.

In the WeChat group of the road traffic safety working group, relevant units have begun to share information on the amount of snow on each road section, and dispatched relevant personnel and equipment to carry out emergency protection.

Inspections, snow melting, reporting information········

When I didn't go to this job, I always looked forward to the heavy snowfall as soon as possible, and the snow and fireworks in the New Year seemed to have the breath of life and the taste of the festival. But after waiting for the work, I don't want the snow to fly more and more, because this will be a sleepless night for the staff who are struggling on the front line of transportation, especially during the Spring Festival. When everyone was sleeping soundly on the hot kang wrapped in a thick quilt in this silent snowy night, the front-line traffic staff had to take snowmelt anti-skid materials on the road in the cold wind, report the road traffic conditions in time, and make every effort to deal with the hidden dangers of the road section.

I forgot that this was the first time I had been on the night shift since I went to work, and I didn't feel scared in the empty building.

I feel that I am really lucky, no matter what stage I am in, the people around me are always working so hard. During the internship, everyone would get together for several nights to discuss revisions in order to plan a practice plan; When the big exam is approaching, everyone shares the knowledge points and answering ideas they have summarized without reservation; And when working, everyone always unites at a critical moment and works together for a common goal. In the past two years, the unit has been working hard to create a demonstration county for the integration of urban and rural passenger transport and a demonstration county for four good rural roads. In order to prepare the application materials, all departments gave up weekend rest for almost two consecutive months, and worked overtime until late every night, carefully sorted out their work results in the past few years, and compiled them into a book. What touched me the most was that the night before the exam, a large group of people crowded into a small printing shop, nibbling on white buns to bind the materials they had sorted out, nearly 8,000 pages, more than 20 booklets full of pictures and texts, nearly 3 o'clock in the morning, and they also got together to discuss how to design the cover······

The results of the test are very good, and everyone's hard work has been affirmed. And at the beginning of the new year, on this snowy night, I once again saw everyone working diligently for their work.

I know that this is not only the current situation of front-line traffic workers, but also the three hundred and sixty lines, each of which has its own hardships and hard work. Leaders often say that it is good to make up for each other. Indeed, in the present, everyone is working hard like this, and the changes that have taken place in life are clearly visible. I remember when I first arrived at Hongsibao, the city was very small and desolate, the streets on both sides were only two-story empty houses, no matter what time I went, the doors of the shops were always closed, and I had to push my bicycle to walk hard in the yellow sand piles to go to the street, and I could only see the asphalt road through a large woods. On the way to school, walk for 40 minutes, and when you get to the back of school, the gravel that falls out of your ears will pile up on the desks into small piles of sand the size of a coin······

And now, the cement pavement has been repaired to the doorstep, there is an asphalt trunk road out of the village, and an ecological park has been built in the urban area. The city is also bustling with shops, and the once desolate streets are now bustling with traffic.

Isn't this all the result of everyone's efforts? Although the cold wind howled on this snowy night, it could not stop everyone's efforts to move upward.
