Foreword (The Prototype of Hoan Zhu Gege)
A few years ago, the popular Qiong Yao drama "Huanzhu Gege" series made the image of "Little Swallow" deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, but everyone did not know that the prototype of "Little Swallow" was very different from the character of "Little Swallow" in Qiong Yao's book. So who is the prototype of Huanzhu Gege, and what kind of story does she have?
The only Han princess in the Qing Dynasty was Kong Sizhen, and Ms. Qiong Yao once said that she was inspired to write "Huanzhu Gege" from the princess's tomb, so in contrast, Xiaoyanzi's prototype can only be the only Han princess in the Qing Dynasty - Kong Sizhen, unlike Xiaoyanzi, Kong Sizhen is a real princess, she is the righteous daughter of the Empress Dowager of Xiaozhuang.
Judging from the information that can be found, Kong Sizhen is a mystery.
Historically, there have been few records about her.
Even her age is not definitively stated.
Legend has it that in the "princess tomb" without an epitaph in Beijing's West Third Ring Road, her fragrant bones are buried.
She is also the only Han princess in the Qing Dynasty, why would the Qing royal family give a Han as a princess?
It all started in July of the ninth year of Shunzhi (1652).
Kong Sizhen's father, Kong Youde, was originally a general in the Ming Dynasty who guarded Liaoyang, and at the end of the Ming Dynasty, he was named the general of Pingnan in the early years of Shunzhi, and became the right-hand man of the Qing Dynasty because of his courage and good fighting. In the sixth year of Shunzhi, he was named the king of the south, and since then he has garrisoned Guilin and guarded Guangxi.
In May of the ninth year of Shunzhi, the remnants of Zhang Xianzhong's peasant rebel army, which had been active in the southwest, the Great Western Army, went on a northern expedition against the Qing Dynasty, and the rebel army was led by Li Dingguo, a former Ming general, and hit Guangxi.
Due to the delay in the arrival of reinforcements and the fall of Guilin, Kong Youde took advantage of the fact that Li Dingguo's army had not yet surrounded Guilin, and in the early morning of June 29, he called the princess Bai, the concubine Li and her children to him, expressing his determination to die once the city was broken, and hoped that his wife and concubine could go out of the city with their children to take refuge for a while......
Both the Bai family and the Li family refused to leave, and finally decided to let the nurse and the guards take their son Kong Tingxun and their daughter Kong Sizhen to flee to a house in the countryside outside the city, waiting for the tide of the war to turn around.
The day after Kong Sizhen and her brother escaped from the city, Li Dingguo's troops came to Guilin.
On the second day of the seventh month, Li Dingguo began to attack Guilin, which surrounded the third floor, and the fierce battle lasted for three days and nights...... On July 4, the skyrocketing fire, Guilin was lost, and the Dingnan palace was already in a sea of fire, and Kong Sizhen's parents were engulfed in flames......
Historically, the record of this paragraph is "On June 29, the ninth year of Shunzhi, the prince of Dingnan led the iron horse out of Xing'an, and the second strict pass. When he returned to the province, he ordered the city gates to be closed, and the four gates of the royal residence were also closed. …… Wang Yangtian sighed. On the afternoon of the fourth day of the first lunar month, Wusheng Gate was broken, and Wang Dan rode into the mansion and burned himself to death...... Bao Nan rubbed his armor, carried a bow and arrow, did not leave the saddle, did not swallow food, and covered six days and nights. exhausted his house, gathered his treasures to play, held his books, and set himself on fire in his room. Relative death to Princess Bai. I can't bear to be in my heart, I refuse to anoint people's blades, and I am also a great husband! ”
In this war, Kong Sizhen's brother Kong Tingxun was plundered by Li Dingguo, and only Kong Sizhen was rescued by the generals of Kong Youde, the king of Dingnan!
When the news reached Beijing, Emperor Shunzhi was deeply shocked and ordered the withdrawal of the DPRK to "mourn".
Later, Emperor Shunzhi and the Empress Dowager Xiaozhuang "died in the king's affairs", and let Kong Sizhen be sent to the palace to be raised by the queen mother.
Kong Sizhen came to Beijing from Guangxi and lived in the Forbidden City.
According to the records of Qing history, Emperor Shunzhi made a lot of contributions to "Kong Youde, the king of Dingnan Wuzhuang, and was martyred, and gave his daughter Shilu, depending on Shuogege".
Since then, Kong Sizhen has become a princess in the Qing Palace.
Because she has lived in the army since she was a child, Kong Sizhen has learned to ride a horse and archery, and has also practiced martial arts, and is a rare girl in the Han nationality who is good at riding and archery. Can she and the Forbidden City, with its yellow tiles and red walls, be able to reconcile?
Please unfold the scroll and join me to see this woman named Kong Sizhen, the legend of her life.

Note: There are several versions of Kong Sizhen's age, and there is no exact year. According to the "Chronicle of the Three Domains": "(Kong Youde) was the only woman who was seventeen years old, escaped from the city, rode away from the capital alone, and cried in the court. Shizu (Emperor Shunzhi) is in the palace of mercy. From this, it is assumed that she was born in 1635.
"Xiaoting Miscellaneous Records" said: "Dingnan (Wang) was martyred in the west of Guangdong, and the female heir Zhen (Sizhen), at the age of twelve, was exempted from the people by the mother-in-law. In the tenth year of Shunzhi, the general line Guoan recovered Guilin, and the heir returned to Beijing. Here, if the "twelfth year" is calculated according to the imaginary year, it should be born in 1641.
According to various events in history, the author believes that the latter statement is more reasonable, therefore, Kong Sizhen in this article was only eleven years old and twelve years old when he entered the palace.
