Although extremely rare, the Runeterras do now have several habitats for elemental dragons.
Long after the fall of the Shurima Empire, in a cave at the base of an unknown volcano, an ancient beast named Iva guarded one of her few dragon eggs. Dragon eggs are not only something that wurms want to destroy, but they are also priceless treasures beyond mortal imagination, so there are many fearless or brainless people who want to try their luck. For many years, dozens or more of the thieves who coveted the dragon's eggs became a charred meal in Eva's mouth...... But in the end, one man succeeded.
The mage, who had suddenly made good fortune, clung to the giant dragon egg and fled the mountains, igniting Eva's fury in the jungle he passed. The impossible happened, he made it to the shore, and the dragon had to return home. She had lost a dragon egg. There can be no more slip-ups.
The mage traveled to Piltover in the north, but before he could find a buyer, the eggs began to hatch. I don't know if it's because someone has moved out of the dragon's nest, or because the last bright moon in autumn heralds the arrival of winter, but something has changed. What came out of the shell was not a young dragon, but a clear humanoid baby girl, with pale skin that was purple and red. Realizing that he could not abandon her, the mage raised the baby girl as his own, naming her "Shivana" as a tribute to the dark saga of her biological mother, Eva.
Shivana gradually began to manifest a nature beyond mortals. From a very young age, her appearance can change into something strange that resembles a half-dragon in ancient mythology. This makes it difficult for her to live among ordinary Valoran residents, and the trouble doesn't stop there. One thing is certain: there is some kind of connection between Eva and her missing daughter, and it has become stronger over time. When the other baby dragons finally flapped their wings and took off, Eva left the empty nest and flew across the ocean in search of Shivana's whereabouts.
The land is being ravaged by fierce border wars, but both the army and the villagers are scattered and fled as the dragon comes. Sivana, looking for a place to live in the ruins of a farmhouse, watched as her adoptive father was consumed by fire as Iva flew low. Young Shivana dragged him to a nearby forest, but there was nothing she could do. She hastily buried her adoptive father under a large oak tree, and then set off alone.
After weeks of wandering and hiding in the wild, Sivana smelled the faint smell of blood in the bushes. She found a wounded warrior, dying, and she knew that this man was something she could save.
Unafraid that she was being hunted by an angry dragon, she immediately took the form of a half-dragon and took the unconscious man away to an outpost on the border of Demacia in the distance.
In the castle of Leenwall, Sivana discovers that she has brought back no one else, but the only son of King Gavin IV de Macia, the heir to the throne. Although the soldiers stationed here were suspicious of her purple skin and strange mannerism, they greeted Sivana because of their responsibility. It seems that the people of Demacia will always look out for each other, and she has spent the most peaceful time of her life in the town.
But peace did not last. Shivana sensed darkness in the wind. Eva is coming.
The prince, who was gradually recovering, knew that he had to take command of the defenders of Levwall, so he organized the frightened inhabitants to hide inside the fortress and prepare for the upcoming battle. Even so, Shivana was ready to continue her escape. Gavin stops her, and she admits that the dragon that hunted her is actually her relative. She couldn't allow her private affairs to kill other innocent people.
Gavin refused to let her go. Sivana saved his life, so he deserved to fight alongside her at such a time. His persistence impressed Shivana, and she accepted his offer.
Iva appeared in the air, and Demacia's archers fired round after volley, constantly disrupting Ivar. In response, she baptized battlements with flames, tore through stone walls with powerful claws, and swept the armoured warriors off the guardrails along the walls. At that moment, Shivana stepped forward, transformed in the air, and let out a defiant roar at her birth mother. It's a sight rarely seen on Valoran since the Rune Wars: two dragons facing each other, fangs and claws crashing into the sky above Lenwall.
Eventually, a bruised and bleeding Shivana dragged Iva to the ground, wringing the dragon's neck on the hard stone slab.
The prince personally commended Sivana for her bravery, promising that as long as Sivana returned to his father's palace with him, he would always have her by his side. They took Eva's skull as proof of their victory and set off together for Demacia.
Sivana learns that King Gavin III's realm is dividing the people's distrust of mages and magic, causing them to deviate from the noble ideals of Demacia's founding. Although she received a certain degree of acceptance as one of the prince's most trusted guards, she couldn't help but wonder if she would be treated as usual if her true nature was known.

The gate of the watchtower was unlocked, and it was empty.
Shivana knew the guards here, he was gray-bearded, always serious-looking, and his name was Tommy. He would rather cut off his arm than leave his post without permission. She smelled the smell of human blood while patrolling the forests of northern Demacia, and followed the smell to find it.
Entering the tower, the smell of blood is stronger, but there is no trace of blood in sight. As a Demacian soldier, Sivana spends most of her time maintaining her human form, hiding her true nature, but her dragon instincts are always sharp. She bit her tongue hard, trying not to be whetted by the smell. Shivana ascended to the top of the tower to get a better view of her surroundings from above. Her gaze was fixed on a leafy grove, the canopy of trees rustling near the glade.
Sivana leaped out of the watchtower's window, her feet firmly on the ground, a drop of five floors. She smelled blood in the wind, and ran into the forest to the west, darting from branch to branch, catching the scent as she could. She reached the edge of the clearing, where a giant golden retriever cat was feasting on Tommy's mangled corpse. The animal had a pair of black wings at the end of its shoulders, and its forked tail writhed like a long snake writhing on its own.
