◇ Nineteen garan

The god of Nineteen Garan was originally Eighteen Garan, all of which were gods in ancient Indian mythology, and Guan Yu was added to become Nineteen Garan. As the protector of Buddhism, Garan maintains the normal development of monastic activities.

◇ Twenty-four heavens

Buddhism incorporates some of the gods from ancient Hindu mythology and other religions as the protector of Buddhism. It was originally twenty heavens, but in the Ming Dynasty, four heavenly gods were added, and it became twenty-four heavens.

The Seventeenth Heavenly Son of the Seventeenth Palace, the Eighteenth Moon Heavenly Prince, the Nineteenth Heavenly Dragon King Heaven, the Twenty Yamamara King Heaven,

Twenty-one Jinnaro Heaven, twenty-two Ziwei Great Emperor Heaven, twenty-three Dongyue Great Emperor Heaven, and twenty-four Thunder God Heaven.

◇ Four Heavenly Kings

The Four Heavenly Kings are the protectors of Buddhism, also known as the Four Heavenly Kings of the World, and are the four gods of the 20 heavens in Buddhism. The statues of the four heavenly kings are usually arranged on both sides of the first hall of the Buddhist temple, hence the name of the heavenly king hall.

●[Oriental Heavenly King] "Holding the country" means compassion, protecting sentient beings, and protecting the land, so it is called the Heavenly King of the country.

●[Southern Growth Heavenly King] "Growth" means that it can make sentient beings grow good roots and support Buddhism, hence the name Growth Heavenly King.

●[Western Wide-Eyed Heavenly King] "Wide-eyed" means to be able to observe the world at any time with a pure heavenly eye and protect the people, so it is called the Wide-eyed Heavenly King.

● [Northern Duowen Heavenly King] "Duowen" is famous in the Quartet for blessing and virtue, so it is called the Northern Duowen Heavenly King.

◇ Wei Dao Bodhisattva

Also known as Wei Daotian, he was originally the god of Brahman, and was later absorbed by Buddhism as one of the protectors of the heavens. In Chinese monasteries, it is usually placed behind the Maitreya Bodhisattva in the Hall of the Heavenly King, facing the statue of Shakyamuni Buddha. The image is generally a child's face, wearing armor and holding a vajra. He is known as the Dharma Protector Bodhisattva.

◇ Ten halls of Hades

Yama is a transliteration of Sanskrit, and can also be called Yama King, or Yama King, also known as Yama King. The Ten Halls of Yama are the general name of the ten Yamas in charge of hell in Chinese Buddhism. They are:

●[The Fourth Hall of the Five Senses King] was born on the 18th day of the second month of the lunar calendar, and the palm of the Great Hell, also known as the Peeling Blood Pool Hell, and there are 16 small hells.

● [Fifth Hall Yama King] Born on the eighth day of the first month of the lunar calendar, the first hall of the former residence, because of the death of mercy, repeatedly released the sun and the snow, and lowered this hall. The boss called the Great Hell, and punished the Little Hell.

● [The Sixth Hall of Bian Cheng King] On the eighth day of the third month of the lunar calendar, the head of the company shouted for the Great Hell, and the city of death in vain, and set up 16 small prisons.

● [The Seventh Hall of Mount Tai King] Born on the 27th day of the third month of the lunar calendar, the head of the hot and annoying hell, also known as the grinding meat sauce hell, and set up 16 small prisons.

● [The Eighth Palace City King] was born on the first day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar, and he was in charge of the great hell of great heat and annoyance, also known as the hell of the pot of annoyance, and set up 16 small prisons.

● [Ninth Hall Equality King] Born on the eighth day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar, he was in charge of the iron network of Fengdu City and the hell of Abi, and set up 16 small prisons.

● [Tenth Hall Wheel King] Born on the 17th day of the fourth month of the lunar calendar, he is in charge of solving ghosts in each hall, distinguishing good and evil, approving levels, and sending reincarnation in the four major states.
