Both the Sect of Balance and the Shadow Fist titles have been abandoned by Akali, who is now a loner and ready to be the deadly weapon her people need. Though she remembered everything she had learned from Grandmaster Shen, she was loyal to protecting Ionia and rooting out her enemies, one life at a time. Akali's sortie may have been silent, but her message would be loud: Assassins who don't obey anyone are the most terrible

Ionia has always been a place of wild magic, where all kinds of humans and powerful spirits strive to live in harmony...... But sometimes this serene balance is not easy to come by. Sometimes balance needs to be maintained.

The Order of Equilibrium is a group whose mission is to preserve the sacred balance of Ionia. Followers of the sect walk between the spiritual and material worlds, mediating conflicts between the two worlds, and intervening with coercion when necessary. Akali was born to be one of them, and her mother, Ume Yoman Texi, was in the position of Shadow Fist, and she and her partner Tano decided to let their daughter grow up in the Sect of Equilibrium from an early age, under the guidance of the Sect's grandmaster, the Master of Twilight's Eyes.

Whenever Akali's parents were sent out, other members of the sect would act as Akali's surrogate parents, and Fury Heart Kenan had spent much of the time with the little girl, teaching her the art of shuriken and using speed and agility rather than brute force. Akali has a mind that surpasses her peers, absorbing knowledge like an absorbent sponge. It is clear to all that she will grow up in the footsteps of her parents—that she will lead a new generation of believers, along with the Grandmaster's son and the intended successor, Shin, to preserve the balance of Ionia.

But the balance is often fleeting, and there is a split within the sect.

A believer named Zai returned from his practice, and he had a fierce confrontation with the Master of Kushuo, and through a bloody mutiny, the power within the sect was shaken. Akali fled to the east in the mountains and forests, along with Ume, Shin, Kenan, and several other believers. Sadly, Tano is not one of them.

The Tribulation has almost turned the Equilibrium Sect into a ruthless shadow stream. But Shen, the new Twilight Eye, wants to rebuild what was gone. They want to return to the three basic ideas of equilibrium: to look for pure justice by stargazing, to execute righteous judgments day by day, and to eradicate all imbalance through pruning. Although they are weak, they will train new believers, restore and revitalize their denomination once again.

When Akali reached the age of fourteen, she began training in the Sect of Equilibrium, determined to succeed her mother as the new Shadow Fist.

Akali is a martial arts prodigy, proficient in the hook and kunai - that is, the one-handed scythe and throwing knives. Although she did not possess magical abilities like other believers, she proved herself worthy of the title, and it was not long before her mother was able to step back and serve as a mentor to the younger generation of believers.

But Akali's soul was at rest, and she was always open to the world. In the aftermath of Noxus' invasion of Ionia, she sees her homeland continue to suffer, despite a fragile agreement between Equilibrium and Shadowflow. She questioned whether their denomination was actually doing its job. The so-called pruning should eradicate all those who threaten the divine balance...... However, Shen always urges restraint.

He was always restricting her. All those chants and meditations would bring peace to her soul, but these clichés would not defeat their enemies. Her hot-blooded impulses and advanced maturity turned into undisguised rebellion. She argues loudly with Shin, she openly rebels against him, and she solves Ionian's enemies in her own way.

In front of the entire sect, she openly declared that the Equilibrium sect was incompetent, and that all preaching about mental balance and patience was fruitless. The Ionians are dying in the physical realm, so this is also the realm that Akali wants to protect. She was trained as an Assassin, so she had to do what an Assassin should do. She no longer needed the sect.

Shen didn't hold back or stop it, he knew that the path had to be taken by Akali herself. Maybe one day she will walk back down that path, but that will be up to her.

"Oops—hey!!," I shouted. "It's a bit heavy, don't you think?"

I lay on my rattan mat and cocked my head, and Vastaya, kneeling beside me, met my eyes. I could feel drops of blood running down my back.

"Why don't you be a little more careful?" I added.

Boriyi took his skulla and skulls off my shoulders, the special tools of the tattoo master, a bit like hammers and chisels, except made of snake bones. Some people also use the bones of other animals or metal, but the snake bones are hollow, so they can be finely cut, which is exactly what a master like Borij wants for his work. A few more drops of blood slipped from the sharp tip of the skull onto my back. He smiled and brushed a page of old linen clean. Then he stopped and shrugged his shoulders, as if to ask, why don't you use me?

He didn't say anything. The Noxus soldier cut out his tongue. It took me a long time before I became a regular here, but I knew him well enough that I knew what he was trying to say with a glance. A little discomfort can be exchanged for his work, and the price is insignificant.

It doesn't matter if I bleed? If it weren't my blood that was shed, the more the merrier.

"Let's clean it up a bit. We may not have much time. I told him.

Boriyi began to tap the mouss with his skull, refilling the paint. He has the finest pigments, the bright colors of which come from the mashed juice of the Ryken berries and the magical petals of the southern wall of the Honkuvo Cliffs. He is a master and I am honored to be his canvas.

I became a regular in the village shortly after I began to ignore caution. Over the years, the Equilibrium Sect has been "cautious"? No. Beware of the wrong view of the world. Mistaken me.

Restraint has never been my strong suit.

I turned my head and leaned back on the rattan mat, my hands under my chin, my eyes fixed on the entrance to the Boriyi Inn. His shop was neat, but the air was filled with sin. The inn is inhabited by snitches, ronins, and outlaws with a single heart. People came to Bori's inn to escape from Ryuri and Ionia. Because it's hard to blend in, and ...... It's harder to escape.

Ori is a Phantom Harbor, a hidden coastal village guarded by mystical powers unique to Ionia.
