Chapter 133: Worship the Buddha and ask for a signature

The thing of the tasting is over. The last enemy of the original owner was also settled. Liang Qianqian began to prepare for the beginning of July to visit the tomb of the original owner's mother, the eldest lady of the Protector's Mansion.

But what she didn't expect was that when she asked Yuan Rong how the preparations for the memorial were going, the answer she got was like this. The eldest lady was buried in the Liang family cemetery, and the Liang family's cemetery is in Liangjia Village, which is a one-day drive from the capital, so every year it is the Qingming Festival to worship the ancestors. And the festival day of the eldest lady is just to go to the Great Xiangguo Temple to do a French ceremony. Therefore, the memorial supplies prepared by Yuan Rong are the things used to go to Daxiangguo Temple to make French rituals.

Helpless, Liang Qianqian chose to follow the local customs and ate vegetarian food for three days in advance. Finally, on the morning of the fifth day of the seventh month, I took Lianxin, Zitong, Baihe, and Yuanrong to Daxiangguo Temple.

In the southeast corner of the capital, there is a natural lake called Fengqi Lake. Legend has it that a phoenix once fell here, and after experiencing nirvana, it was reborn from the ashes. There is a mountain on the shore of Fengqi Lake, called Wutong Mountain. Naturally, there are plane trees on Sycamore Mountain, and there are many wildflowers that cannot be named scattered in the grass on the hillside.

Daxiangguo Temple is built on Wutong Mountain, and the mountain gate is opened on the halfway of Wutong Mountain. Therefore, Liang Qianqian's carriage could only stop at the mountain gate, and they still needed to climb more than a thousand steps to enter the Daxiong Treasure Hall.

Liang Qianqian patronized and enjoyed the scenery along the way, and did not think about how to go up the mountain at all. As soon as she got off the carriage, she looked up at the Daxiong Treasure Hall standing tall in the mountains and greenery, and let out a long sigh. She looked down at her small body again, and couldn't help but feel bitter in her heart.

As soon as she got out of the carriage, Mingjue, a guest monk of Daxiangguo Temple, greeted her with a smile. When he saw Liang Qianqian, he made a Buddha salute and said, "Amitabha, the little donor looks good today, and I think it's a good thing to come." ”

Liang returned the salute with a shallow smile and said, "Borrow the master's auspicious words." Today is the death day of my deceased mother, I want to do a ritual, do you think you should go directly to the Jizo Temple, or? ”

Mingjue led her inside, and said, "The donor can visit the worship in turn, and when the ritual is ready to stop, the donor can go to offer incense." In addition, my master was out of the customs two days ago, and the donor may wish to ask for a sign later. ”

Liang said with a shallow smile: "Thank you for mentioning it." ”

While chatting, the group walked up the mountain, but they didn't think the mountain was too high. It's just that in the summer, climbing more than a thousand steps is also a strenuous exercise. Therefore, in order to avoid blaspheming the Buddha, Mingjue first guided them to a meditation room for pilgrims to rest, so that Liang Qianqian could change his clothes. Only then did she understand why the ancients had to bring a few more sets of clothes when they traveled.

After Liang Qianqian changed his clothes, he took Yuan Rong and Lianxin to the Daxiong Treasure Hall to pay homage, while Zitong and Baihe stayed to pack up their things, as well as Zhang Luo's noon vegetarian fast.

There are four halls in Daxiangguo Temple, which are the Daxiong Treasure Hall, the Guanyin Hall, the Jizo Hall, and the Manjushri Hall. The Daxiong Treasure Hall enshrines the seated statue of the Buddha and the left and right protectors; The Guanyin Hall enshrines the thousand-armed Guanyin, the sending son Guanyin, and the Guanyin Bodhisattva; The Jizo Hall enshrines the Jizo Bodhisattva and the Medicine Bodhisattva; The Manjushri Hall is dedicated to Manjushri Bodhisattva.

Liang Qianqian bowed all the way down very religiously, and she asked for a lot in the Guanyin Palace. The signature is very interesting: Nirvana is reborn, like a dream.
