Volume 1 Memoirs Chapter 6 The Strange Cave in the Back Mountain
The family ran for nothing, and after more than an hour, they went home.
When I got home, the moment I opened the door, my parents' faces changed. Following their frozen eyes, my sister and I looked over and were shocked to find that the back wall of the garage had been broken. Not long after I bought it, the brand new liquefied gas tank disappeared.
The hateful thief took the chains, chiseled the walls, and stole the only valuables of his money.
Mom and Dad immediately searched in two directions along the avenue in front of the door, hoping to find a clue. My sister and I didn't sit still, and my sister started to look around asking if anyone had come.
And I, through the pierced wall, tried to follow the thief's route.
Because of the anti-drug use at the beginning, my father sealed the road to the back mountain. When I think of the back of my shack, there is basically no ordinary way to go. The only way to pass is to climb up to the abutment and pass through the roof next to it.
Sure enough, I found traces of dragging on the stone wall of the abutment in the back hill, and there were still some cans of paint peeling off on them.
The liquefied gas tank is full and the weight is comparable. Therefore, it is basically impossible to carry the jar on the abutment, so dragging is the best way.
I climbed up to the abutment and tried to follow the trail to find it, but I couldn't find it when I got up.
But the roof was definitely the only way out, so I went straight to the roof, trying to climb up to the roof and look for traces.
But before I could set foot on the roof, I suddenly heard a noise from the cave behind me. This has never been done before. I've lived here so long, I've been to this abutment so many times, I've never heard a sound from the cave.
I immediately thought, will this cave lead to another place, there is also a cave, which is the exit? Could the thief who stole the jar just get out of this cave?
When I think about it, I think it's like that. Carrying such a heavy canister, how could it be possible to climb the roof, it would collapse, and it would be inconvenient to go down.
So, I turned and plunged into the cave. And because I was anxious to chase the thief, I was touching the stone wall and walking faster and faster. Until the light at the entrance of the cave did not come in, and the inside became a dark place.
But I was preoccupied with the liquefied gas tank, after all, it was bought by my parents with their hard-earned money. With that jar, my mother didn't have to desperately squeeze the sawdust crumbs to cook, and it took half a day to make a fire.
Therefore, I didn't care about it, and I chased it all the way.
However, I don't know how long it took, but I gradually realized that something was wrong. Because it's so dark here, and it's so uneven under your feet that your toes hurt. I doubt it's bleeding.
But I didn't retreat, I had a belief in my heart: it should be soon, and I will be at the exit immediately.
With the straight ahead, I was indeed able to cross the mountain in this time.
Unfortunately, it backfired, and I repeated this belief several times but couldn't see the exit. I couldn't help but retreat.
Eventually, I decided to go back the way I came, feeling the stone wall.
It was a bumpy ride, and I walked for about the same time as when I came, and I thought I was going to get to the exit.
However, I didn't see the exit. After a little further walking, I still didn't find the hole.
I panicked, anxious, and desperately walked forward, walking. As I walked, I suddenly felt a chill behind me.
When I came, I touched the stone wall and felt like I was going straight ahead. However, when I returned, I actually touched the corner.
That is to say, there is more than one path in this cave, and I went to a different path than I went back. In a certain location, it was a fork in the road, and I didn't realize that I had touched the wrong stone wall and walked the wrong way.
Eventually, what frightened me happened, and I lost my way in this dark cave.
At that age, I didn't know that there was a fork in the road in the cave, and I didn't know that I was lost, so I thought I was walking too slowly. So in a state of getting lost, I still desperately moved forward.
As I walked, I suddenly felt a little cold. The weather was very hot, and it was even more stuffy in the cave before, and it felt hotter than outside. But at this time, I actually felt chills.
Moreover, the originally dry stone wall has also begun to slippery, and when you let go of your hand, you can still find a layer of cold water on your hand.
Walking further on, I came across another corner, and I touched the stone wall and turned around. The corner was at least 90 degrees, and I totally felt like I was going in a different direction.
But there was no other way, I didn't know the way at all, so I had to follow the ready-made path.
As soon as the corner was turned, a whining sound washed over and it was very loud. I was so stunned that I couldn't even get out of my feet.
It's just a corner, and the difference is so big, it's really unexpected, and I'm scared enough.
Later, I calmed down for a long time, and found that there was nothing else except the sound, and I was afraid to clean up little by little. And this sound is obviously the sound of the wind, I comfort myself, this should be almost to the entrance of the cave, so I can hear the wind.
So, I was bold and continued to move forward.
The further you go, the louder the wind becomes, and in the end the sound is simply deafening, and it doesn't look like the sound of the wind at all. At this point, I was once again frightened and hesitated.
This time I hesitated to turn around and find the exit on the other side. After all, at that time, I still thought that there were only two openings in this hole. The original opening is blocked, so there is only another one.
Now that I think about it, it was really innocent back then. Obviously, there are many turns and turns inside, but I actually thought that there were only two holes and only one road.
But just as I was hesitating, a voice suddenly erupted in front of me, and a huge force rushed towards me. I couldn't resist the impact of this huge force while holding on to the wall, and I was instantly knocked out of the way.
Flying in mid-air, I was dizzy, uncomfortable, completely unable to control myself, and I didn't know where I had flown to.
By the time the force was gone, I couldn't hear the deafening sound, and I fell out of the air.
Luckily, it was a shallow place where I fell, otherwise I would have fallen to my death.
In fact, I should be even more glad that I was small and light at that time, and I could fly far. Otherwise, I wouldn't have survived if I fell halfway.
The water in the shallow water was very icy, and I was instantly shivered by the ice, and I was stimulated to wake up.
This time, I was completely disoriented, and I couldn't tell whether I was going forward or backward. And most importantly, I waded through the water of my ass to touch the stone wall, but I was half tired and half dead, and I didn't touch the edge.
It wasn't until later that I realized that I was wading sideways to touch the edges. And it's a very large space, and even though I walked sideways, I didn't go out of the water.
At the same time, I'm glad I walked sideways. If I had crossed the space directly, I would have drowned.
This puddle of water is not an ordinary shallow puddle, it is very deep in the middle, and I have no problem drowning two or three highs. Therefore, this puddle of water is simply a puddle.
I only found out later, and at first I thought it was just a shallow puddle of water.
After fumbling for a long time, I didn't find the edge, and I didn't know where I got from the original position.
However, I could figure out which direction I was being swept from, so I gave up the idea of touching the edge and walked in that direction.
It was pitch black inside, and there was an echo when I waded through the water. I don't even know if I was scared or not, I just walked forward, walked, walked!
Finally, when I could barely walk and was too tired to walk, I touched the stone wall. And thankfully, the stone wall happened to be a corner, and to the left, was the passage where I entered.
Leaning against the wall, my legs were already shaking, and I was already freezing goosebumps, and my body was gradually feeling heavy.
I don't even know how long I've been here, but I've missed the outside world very, very much, and I'm very, very sorry to come here. At the same time, I also knew very well that the thief did not escape from this cave at all.
The sound I heard at the entrance of the cave at first was most likely the sound made when the huge force rushed out just now, and it was reflected through the stone walls of the cave, so I could hear a little movement at the entrance of the cave.
It's too late to regret it, and I can only do my best to find a way. Feeling the stone wall, I felt a little more secure, and I was ready to go back the way I came, looking for the exit in my intuitive direction.
I remember coming out of the stone wall on the left, so I crossed over and touched the stone wall on the left. And at this time, I also realized that this passage is really not ordinarily large. I guess the kind of big trucks that I've seen before that can pass through at will.
The rock walls here are even more slippery, and water has fallen from them. The ground is also uneven, puddles and puddles, which are also cold and cold.
After a long time, I almost broke my leg when I finally heard the deafening sound of the wind again.
After a while, I finally touched the corner again. I knew that the passage around this corner was where I had walked in before.
Just as I was about to step in and leave this huge passageway. The loud bang from before erupted again, and the huge impact of mania was sent out again.
I was so frightened that I wanted to jump right into the passage and dodge. But I slowed down, and the force of the blow swept me up again, sending me into the air again, bringing me back to the waterhole space that I had worked so hard to get out of.
I guess I fell in the same position, because I didn't fall to my death this time. And I've also proven that if there is no other source of water for this pool, then its only source of water is the water that has been washed in by the great force.
Because this time I was awake in mid-air, I felt very sure that I was washed in the water.
That is to say, the deafening place should be a place with living water.
But so what? Not to mention that I didn't think of this at all, but even if I did, I would never think of anything else. It's just that I think of other things, and I can't afford to go to that place anymore.
