The land of China is soaked in their blood

The first batch of party workers in Zhengding went forward one after another for the cause of freedom and liberation of their hometown and the motherland, and they were the outstanding sons and daughters of the people of Zhengding, and the land of their hometown was soaked with the blood of these patriots. Comrades Yin Yufeng and Hao Qingyu are prominent representatives.

Yin Yufeng, a native of Zhengding Zhoutong, joined the party in 1924 and was the first secretary of the county party committee of Zhengding until his death in 1928. At the age of 14, Hao Qingyu was influenced by progressive ideas and soon became a member of the Communist Party. In 1924, he returned to his hometown, and together with Yin Yufeng and other comrades, he made great efforts to prepare for the establishment of the Zhengding Party organization. In the summer of 1925, when British and Japanese imperialism created the "May Massacre" in Shanghai, Yin Yufeng, Hao Qingyu and other comrades led the establishment of the "Zhengding Shanghai Case Support Association from All Walks of Life" to mobilize the people of Zhengding to cut down on food and clothing, assist the families of the workers killed in Shanghai, and lead mass rallies and student strikes, setting off an anti-imperialist storm in Zhengding.

In June 1927, they led the famous Zhengding peasant uprising. At that time, the warlord set up a clever project, levying money and grain for three years in advance and attaching "begging for a red donation", which aroused the dissatisfaction of the people of the county. The Zhengding County Party Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to lead the peasant uprising. The 17th day of May in the old calendar is the day of the temple fair in Zhengding County, more than 10,000 people gather in the city within a radius of dozens of miles, at more than 10 o'clock in the morning, on the theater square at that time, I saw that someone put the big banner of "Zhengding County peasants oppose the big petition for red donations" in red cloth and white characters, people flocked from all directions, held high swords, spears and shovels, and rushed to the county office. Comrade Hao Qingyu, who had practiced martial arts in his youth, had always been at the forefront of the ranks, and he led the masses to rush into the hall of the government office, raised three whips and smashed the screen in the hall, and frightened a group of large and small government officials. Under the pressure of the masses, the county governor was forced to write down a note abolishing the "begging for money and donations" and "delaying the collection of money and grain", and told the whole county. This uprising dealt a blow to the arrogance of the Feng army, trained and tempered the cadres of the Zhengding Party, and laid the foundation for striving for new victories.

In 1928, Comrade Yin Yufeng died of illness due to hard work at the age of 24. Comrade Hao Qingyu grew rapidly in the mass struggle and became an outstanding organizer and leader of our party's peasant movement in the north. In 1931, he was arrested in Tianjin due to traitor betrayal, and died in 1935 at the age of 32. People like Comrades Yin Yufeng and Hao Qingyu, who have made contributions and sacrificed their lives for the Chinese nation and for their hometowns, have left a glorious page in the patriotic history of Zhengding County. Many of them have not even left their names, but they will always be revered by future generations, and will always inspire those who come after them to go forward and give their hearts and lives for the prosperity of their country and homeland.

Mr. Lu Xun once said that since ancient times, the Chinese nation has had people who have worked hard, those who have worked hard, those who have sacrificed their lives to seek the law, and those who have asked for their lives for the people -- they are the backbone of China. They may be like meteors across the night sky, but they will always remain in the hearts of the people, Yin Yufeng and Hao Qingyu are such heroes.

Hao Qingyu was born in Zhengding County, Hebei Province. In 1918, he went to Beijing to work as a shoemaker, and in the winter of 1924, he joined the Communist Party of China. Together with Yin Yufeng and other comrades, he did a great deal of work in preparing for the establishment of the party organization in the Zhengding area. In order to solve the problem of liaison agencies and cover occupations, he opened the "Yuhua Shoe Village" in Zhengding County, which played an important role in the development of the party organization in Zhengding later. Later, the Zhengding party organization was expanded and reorganized several times, and developed from a special branch to a central county party committee and local committee, and became the leading force of the people's revolutionary struggle in this area. Hao Qingyu tirelessly went deep into the fields and the thatched huts of the poor peasants to mobilize the masses and propagate the principles of the revolution. A Communist Party member among the rural teachers at that time described Hao Qingyu as follows: "I walked away every day, slept in the haystack at night, was hungry for dry food, and thirsty for cold water. ”

In the spring of 1928, Hao Qingyu was transferred to Tianjin and served as a member of the Shunzhi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Minister of Agricultural Movement of the Provincial Party Committee. In the summer of 1930, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, an inspector, and the secretary of the Baoding Special Committee of the Communist Party of China. In March 1931, he was transferred back to work in the Shunzhi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, but was arrested in April of the same year due to betrayal by traitors. Hao Qingyu was seriously ill after being arrested and imprisoned, but he still did not change his integrity. He was very ill in prison, and the enemy took the opportunity to make him put his handprint on the so-called "anti-communist notice": "Smear some ink on your hand, just put a handprint on it, and I will send you to a German hospital for treatment and send you out." Otherwise, you will be sent to the overpass (execution ground)! Hao Qingyu replied categorically: "Your Kuomintang compromised and surrendered to Japan, and you should reflect on yourself as you oppose the people internally." I am the anti-Japanese revolution to the end, there is no fault to regret, send the overpass and the ground bridge casually! In September 1935, Hao Qingyu died of illness in prison.

The deeds of these Zhengding heroes told by Xi Jinping may be little known, and their names may be unknown, but they have imprinted the footprints of struggle in the script of history, and infiltrated this great land with the blood shed by their faith. They are the backbone of China, and the integrity and spirit embodied in them are the hope of this ancient nation to achieve phoenix nirvana. Xi Jinping learned about their deeds when he was in power, and inspired Zhengding cadres with their spirit, which can still bring spiritual shock to party members and cadres today.

Xi Jinping values and cherishes heroes, and emphasizes advocating heroes, defending heroes, learning from heroes, and caring for heroes on different occasions. At the ceremony to present the medal commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Xi Jinping counted many heroic groups such as the "Five Heroes of Langya Mountain", the "Liu Laozhuang Company" of the New Fourth Army, the eight female soldiers of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Federation and the "Eight Hundred Heroes" of the Kuomintang Army, and paid tribute to the heroes of the War of Resistance in the name of the country. As Xi Jinping said, all national heroes, including the heroes of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, are the backbone of the Chinese nation, and their deeds and spirit are a powerful force that inspires us to move forward.
