■Definition

"Ercheng", that is, the brothers Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi, the two of them founded "Luoxue" and were the founders of science in the Northern Song Dynasty. "Ercheng Collection" is a collection of all the works of Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi, among which the "suicide note" is the Ercheng quotations recorded by the disciples, which were later comprehensively compiled by Zhu Xi.
