Looking at the mirror, the flaws are not stuck in the body; If you listen to it bluntly, you will not be tired of doing it.
——"Speech at the Provincial Party Committee Team Special Democratic Life Meeting in Hebei" and other articles
■Interpretation
Sweating and blushing can clear and detoxify and strengthen the body. How do you sweat and blush? This requires us to come up with the weapon that our party has always used to defend itself and cure its illness -- criticism and self-criticism. At the beginning of the educational practice activities, Comrade Xi Jinping emphasized that it is necessary to "make a good effort in criticism and self-criticism". Now, the relationship of interests and interpersonal relations has become more complicated, and this has tested our courage and party spirit in carrying out criticism and self-criticism. It should be noted that as long as we act with an open heart, a sincere attitude, and pay attention to methods, both criticism and self-criticism are a good medicine, and we truly love our comrades and ourselves. This quote by Comrade Xi Jinping illustrates this point. Advice is against the ear, and good medicine is bitter. With regard to criticism and self-criticism, we must not be prejudiced or have lingering palpitations, but we must boldly use and frequently use criticism in the spirit of being highly responsible to ourselves, our comrades, our leading bodies, and the party, so that the more we use it, the more we use it, the more effective it will be.

Chen Wen - (Eastern Han Dynasty) Wang Cang "Imitation Lianzhu"
■Definition
Wang Cang (177-217), a writer in the late Han Dynasty, was one of the "Seven Sons of Jian'an". Its political ideology is basically Confucian, mixed with the study of Legalism and criminal names. In the article "Imitation of Lianzhu", Wang Cang faintly compared himself with Guan Zhong and proposed to the ruler: "If you look at the mirror, the flaws will not be stuck in the body; If you listen to it bluntly, you will not be tired of doing it. It means that if you check yourself in the mirror often, you will overcome your shortcomings in time; If you can listen to straightforward criticism, you can correct your mistakes in a timely manner.
Lianzhu is a special style of writing that first appeared in the Han Dynasty. Shen Yue of the Southern Dynasty said: "Those who connect the beads, cover the words and sentences continuously, invent each other, and the knots of the beads are also arranged." "The form of the beads is short, and the rhyme is occasionally used, and it does not directly refer to things, but only uses gorgeous words to express the meaning euphemistically through metaphors. Liu Xian's "Wenxin Carving Dragon" is the earliest in the Han Dynasty Yangxiong's "Lianzhu", and the authors have acted Lianzhu, simulated Lianzhu, Changlianzhu, and Guanglianzhu. Wang Cang's "Imitation of Lianzhu" also belongs to this category.
