Susilo writes songs

Speaking of which, I am reminded of a song written by President Susilo called "Serenity". It was October 2006, when President Susilo came to Guangxi, China, to attend the summit to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of ASEAN-China dialogue relations. On the sidelines of the meeting, he had creative inspiration on the Li River and wrote a beautiful lyric: "Happy days are constantly circulating in life, and I spend that good time with my partners." "President Susilo touched the scenery between China's mountains and rivers, and remembered his childhood and hometown, which shows that the people of our two countries are connected and close to each other.

Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is the sixth president of Indonesia. Born in 1949 to a poor military family in Bajidan, East Java Province, Indonesia, Susilo won the Indonesian presidential election in 2004. During his presidency, he launched an anti-corruption campaign that swept through Indonesia under the slogans of "close to the people" and "honest", punished a large number of corrupt officials, and was known as "Mr. Clean" by the people.

Susilo not only made a difference in politics, but also made many achievements in music. Between 2007 and 2010, he released three albums, all of which were written by himself. He expressed his hope that through these songs, he would express his patriotism and call on the people of the whole country to unite and love their motherland to create a better future for Indonesia.

On October 29, 2006, Susilo visited Guilin on the sidelines of attending the summit to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue relations between China and ASEAN, and visited the Li River and the Reed Flute Rock. In Guilin in October, the laurel trees are fragrant; The Li River in autumn is like a green silk belt, coiled between the peaks and mountains. Take a boat ride as if you were in a gallery. Susilo was fascinated by the beauty of the Li River, and he praised it in poetic words: "God has given me such a beautiful scenery of the Li River, which is unique in the world, and let me taste her beauty to the fullest." In due course, I will bring all my relatives here to let my family taste the beauty of the world. "The scenery of the Li River also reminded President Susilo of his childhood and his hometown. He touched the scene and was inspired to write the song "Tranquility": "On a quiet night, outside that beautiful village, I thought alone, thought and thought. Happy days are constantly circulating in life, and I spend that good time with my partner. The village is quiet and silent, the love flowers are blooming, and I keep plowing and weaving, ploughing and weaving. I pray silently in my heart, that the Lord will give me a nation and eternal peace and peace. ”

In his speech at the Indonesian Congress, Xi Jinping used the story of Susilo writing a song to illustrate that "it is with such friendly envoys who have built bridges of friendship and opened windows to the soul that the friendship between the peoples of our two countries has been able to pass through the long river of history and cross the vast sea, and will last for a long time."

In this speech, Xi quoted an Indonesian proverb: "Money is easy to get, friends are hard to find." "A history of world civilization is, to a large extent, a history of people-to-people exchanges and blending. Those people-to-people exchanges that touch people's hearts are the most simple and solid emotional ties that maintain and develop state-to-state relations. Friendship between countries requires mutual understanding, mutual support, and cooperation, and more importantly, people of insight from the two countries need to participate in it and work hard in a down-to-earth manner.
