The "transcendent self" returns to nature, to simplicity, to live in harmony with nature, and does not need those complex tools that disrupt the balance of nature. The "Certain" self sees itself as a tool for fame and fortune, while the "transcendent me" regards fame and fortune as a tool for survival.
From the perspective of good and evil, only by seeking fame and fortune can good and evil be distinguished. The "natural self" is a living person who fights for survival - to live for the sake of living, to live without distinction between good and evil. "Of course" I am the side of the wicked, fighting for fame and fortune -- seeking fame and fortune for the fame and fortune of the "little self", and betraying my conscience for the sake of maximizing my own fame and fortune. The "transcendent self" manifests itself as a good person, full of conscience, fighting for the better survival of the "greater self" - seeking fame and fortune for the sake of the good life of all. Every human being is a triad of the living, the wicked, and the good. β
