Chapter 24: Passionate House-Elves

On the first floor of the castle, near the foyer, there is a door that leads to the Hufflepuff common room and kitchen.

Albert took a moment to wander around the foyer, finding two doors and Filch's office by the marble staircase. Filch's cat was staring at him.

"What's its name?" Albert asked.

Filch didn't answer, picking up his cat and going into the office.

"Jealousy, I guess!" muttered Albert, and if he remembered correctly, Filch was a Squib. He thinks that since the other party is a squib, he should abandon the wizarding world and obediently integrate into the Muggle world, so why stay to seek trouble and unhappiness.

Okay, the pesky guy is gone, which door should I choose?

"Where will the kitchen be?" Albert pulled a coin from his pocket and tossed it on the floor, which was head-on, so he chose to walk to the left side of the stairs.

Behind the door is a stone staircase, a wide stone gallery where torches automatically light up on the walls as Albert walks by, illuminating the surroundings, and Albert finds the surrounding walls decorated with drawings of various foods.

"Good luck. Albert found a large portrait of a huge silver bowl full of fruit, behind which the kitchen was said to be hidden.

Enter the secret of the kitchen, on the pear.

Albert lightly touched the big green pear, and the pear actually squirmed, eating and laughing, and suddenly turned into a large green doorknob.

"Sure enough, here, it seems that my luck is good. Albert was in a good mood, and after finding the Room of Requirement, he found the kitchen again.

Reaching out and grabbing the door, the kitchen was as large as the auditorium above, with many cutlery on the cupboards around it, and four long wooden tables in the same position as the four college tables in the auditorium above.

There was already some food on the table, which was supposed to be breakfast for the students, and when it was time for the meal, the house-elves would use magic to teleport the food to the table above.

"Is there anything wrong with you, sir?" a little elf spotted Albert and trotted towards him.

"The restaurant hasn't opened yet, so I'll take a look at the kitchen. Albert smiled politely at them.

"Please follow me, sir. The house-elf took Albert's hand and pulled him to sit down at the table, where six house-elves hurried up with a large silver tray with a jug of milk, ham, omelette, toast, and salad, and pumpkin porridge.

"Thank you, little one. Albert poured himself half a glass of milk, although he did not have the habit of drinking milk in his previous life, but he had developed this habit over the years, and thanks to this, he became much stronger than in his previous life.

"This is our pleasure sir. Someone probably said thank you to themselves, and the house-elves were all smiling and bowing to him.

Albert ate a ham, an omelette, and two slices of toast, and drank a small bowl of pumpkin porridge, and his stomach was immediately filled with food.

As he eliminated the last small portion of the fruit salad, he looked at the house-elves, all of whom were dressed, should not be said, wrapped in a tea towel emblazoned with Hogwarts crest.

"I think I should go, thank you for the breakfast. Albert noted that the exploration progress had reached 7.3%.

"That's what we're supposed to do, sir. The house-elf said in a high-pitched voice. Before Albert left, many elves gathered around him and handed him many snacks for Albert to take back and eat.

"Enough, goodbye little ones. Albert stuffed four pies into a brown paper bag and stuffed them into his robes, which were intended for the three Georges.

The house-elves all flocked to the door to see Albert leave, and they liked the thank you, which made the house-elves feel Albert's respect and affirmation for them.

Following the path he had walked yesterday, it took Albert a few minutes to return to the lounge.

However, there was still no one inside, and the ghost lady had already left.

When Albert returned to the room, the twins were still sleeping, and Li Jordan had already woken up, he looked at Albert who appeared outside the door with a surprised face, and couldn't help asking, "Where are you going?"

"Take a walk, stop by for breakfast!" Albert grinned, "I brought you a gift?"

"What gift?" Weasley, on the right, got up from his bed and scratched his head with his right hand, looking like he hadn't woken up yet.

"I thought you were sleeping. Lee Jordan got out of bed, stretched lazily and asked, "What a gift?" ”

"Pie. Albert took out the brown paper bag from his pocket, took out a pie and took a bite, handed the paper bag to Lee Jordan and said, "One for each person." ”

"Where did you get it? Fred asked curiously.

"Kitchen. ”

"Wow, you found the kitchen. ”

"Anyway, you sneaked out by yourself, and you didn't even call us together. Fred also came to his senses, and if it weren't for the bed, Albert wouldn't have been able to tell who the twins were.

"Don't brush your teeth first. ”

"Oh, I almost forgot about it. George put down the pie in his hand and asked curiously, "How did you find the kitchen?"

"Wander around, and you just happened to find out. Albert spoke again about his encounter with Filch, "His cat is clever enough to inform his owner, but I think Filch is probably here to trouble me." ”

"I dare say, he must be very aggrieved!" Fred couldn't help but laugh as he got up to get ready to go out for a walk, Hogwarts Castle was really interesting.

All three of them got dressed, washed up and went to the Gryffindor common room, where there was no one yet, Albert lit the fire and sat on the couch next to him, the rain outside had stopped.

Bill and Charlie said there were a lot of secret passages in the castle. Fred said to the others as he ate the pie.

But they didn't tell us where the secret passage was. George kind of complained about his brothers.

"Maybe they want you to explore the secrets of the castle on your own, so that's interesting. Albert remembered Nick's words and casually comforted the two.

"I think so. Lee Jordan chimed in.

"By the way, I almost forgot about it. Albert walked to the entrance, took a few pictures of the lounge and took a few pictures of the fat lady by the way.

"You're taking pictures again?"

"I'm going to send a letter home, for Muggles everything in the wizarding world is strange. Albert looked at the photographs, and he had already discovered that he had another skill related to photography.

"I heard Charlie say that Filch likes to get into trouble with students, and wants to hang up and whip students who make mistakes all day long. After George finished the pie, he continued, "Filch also knows that many school secret passages will always pop up quietly. ”

"Most of the students on the night tour will be caught by Filch. Fred added, "Then he was deducted points and locked up." ”
