Chapter 213: Kayama and Attachment

After returning to the house, he asked Peng Huayin about the origin of the old monk. Originally, the old guy didn't think that this old monk had anything extraordinary, but he could be favored by Guangxiao, and he naturally had to look at it differently.

If it were ordinary people in Shouchun City, they might not be able to know what the old monk's Dharma name was. It is either called the abbot to preside, or it is directly called by the old monk and the old monk. The old monk is a mixture of Han Chinese and Tianzhu people, named Ka Yemo. It is said that he lived in Tianzhu when he was young, and he still looked like a Tianzhu person, but after the age of forty, he followed his master to the Han land to preach the scriptures, and his appearance began to be sinicized. Now it looks no different from the ordinary Han people of the Central Plains.

Peng Huayin knew the name of Jiaye Mo because of the expansion of the Buddhist hall in Xinjue Temple eight years ago. The old monk personally came to turn his fate to Master Peng, and Peng Huayin saw that Jiaye Mo was old and pitiful, so he took 200 yuan. When I was filling in the amount in the merit book, I accidentally saw the name of the old monk. As soon as I inquired, I learned that he was half Han and half Tianzhu's bloodline.

However, Peng Huayin also knew this, except for that time, he had nothing to do with Ka Yemo. That is, when I occasionally go out and go home, I meet the old monk at the door with the little monk to turn into a relationship, and the old man Peng is kind-hearted and also tells the housekeeper to give more property.

It's a pity that Peng Huayin and Jiaye Mo have been in contact with each other a few times, and the old monk is trying his best to say that Master Peng has devoted himself to Shimen as a monk. Peng Huayin's brother Peng Jin was also a famous monk back then, and both of them believed in Huang Laozhi's theory, and they really couldn't be interested in Kayama's Buddhism. Without speculation, the two of them don't have any deep interactions.

As for the fat monk, he doesn't look like a Han person when he hears his name, and he is much taller than the average Han person. It's just obsessed with Yuan's fierce appearance, and he rarely comes out to turn his fate. When they met, everyone could hide, and no one thought to inquire about the origin of this monk.

"Kayama and Obsessive Yuan ......" After hearing the names of the two monks, the smiles on their faces were a little restrained. glanced at Wu Mian, who completely ignored him, and then said to himself: "The two names are not Han people when they hear it, and Jia Yemo is half of Tianzhu people, and it is the name of the Xiongnu side when he listens to it." The two of them got together to build a temple in Shouchun City, which is a bit interesting......"

Starting the next day, the monks of Xinjue Temple began to come out as usual. It's just that there is an extra monk named Guangxiao in the team of Huayuan, and Guangxiao is no different from ordinary little monks. Holding a terracotta bowl in his hand, he followed behind his senior brother and went door-to-door along the streets of Shouchun City.

At this time, Guangxiao was no different from a little monk who had just entered the door, and now he was standing at the door of someone's house and reciting a scripture praying for blessings and longevity. If someone comes out to give alms and recites the Buddha's name to thank them, if no one comes out or someone speaks ill of each other, Guangxiao just turns around and leaves, and never argues with the donor.

It didn't take long for the people in Shouchun City to get used to the monks who came to turn their fortunes every day, and there was more of this monk called Guangxiao. However, it may be that Kayama considered his relationship with Wu Mian and Gui Fei and these people, and was afraid that something would happen to them when they met. Every time he came out to make a fate, Guangxiao was always able to avoid Peng Huayin's mansion, and more than a month passed, Wu Mian, Gui Bugui and Guangxiao had never encountered it.

But they all live in the same city, and they will meet sooner or later. More than a month passed after the old monk Jiaye Mo came back with Guangxiao, and when the sky was bright in the morning, Guangxiao followed a few senior brothers to the merchant family in the city who had just begun to prepare for business.

At this time, the breakfast vendors had already started to buy and sell, but it was too early for a few waves of business, and no one was willing to give alms to these monks. After walking around, Guangren and the others only turned into two wheat cakes and a copper coin. This was not enough for a few of the monks to take a mouthful, but considering that there would be more diners for breakfast in a while, they should still have a chance to turn into some possessions.

A food shop selling minced meat soup has opened its doors, and the owner of this food shop is the famous iron rooster in Shouchun City. The monks had never turned out a penny here, and the monks had no intention of going over. However, the newcomer Guangxiao didn't know the depth, and after saying hello to the senior brothers, he went to the door of the restaurant with a bowl in his hand.

Just when Guangxiao was reciting scriptures at the door of the restaurant, he suddenly heard the boss inside shouting: "The monks who chant scriptures outside come in, today your Buddha has blessed you, there is a big master to reward you, hurry up and come in and thank you......"

After listening to the boss's words, Guangxiao chanted the Buddha name and walked into the restaurant with a bowl in his hand. I saw that there were two people and two demons next to the largest table inside, and it was my old enemy who did not return and the three brothers who had no desire and Xiao Ren. Guangxiao didn't seem to recognize the three of them, and walked straight to the front of the return.

After seeing Guangxiao coming, the old guy smiled and took out a handful of five baht coins from his arms. When Guangxiao approached, he threw the copper coin in his hand into his bowl. didn't wait for Guangxiao to thank him, he smiled and said first: "I haven't seen you these days, Guangxiao, you are really more and more like a real monk." Why, after seeing that the monk fell, must have been a monk getting up? Don't bet on the wrong treasure and end up still in it. ”

After pouring out a handful of copper coins in the bowl and putting it in his arms, Guangxiao smiled and said to the returnee: "Thank you for the good karma formed by the donor, and the fruits of the past life will be the result of the future life." Old benefactor, you have made such a wide range of good connections, and you will definitely live a long life. ”

"Little monk, you are really good at talking, hundreds of years have passed since the old man's 100th birthday banquet." He smiled and instructed the owner of the restaurant to fill Guangxiao's bowl with minced meat soup. When the boss was serving the meat soup, Gui Bugui continued to say to Guangxiao: "Little monk, in addition to the scriptures you are talking nonsense outside, what scriptures have you learned from your master in the past few days. Listen to a paragraph on your back......"

"Master has been teaching the forty-two chapters of the scriptures these days," Guangxiao smiled without humility or arrogance, and continued: "But these forty-two chapters are all written in Sanskrit, although I can memorize them, I don't know what they mean. If you recite it like this, you are slowing down the scriptures and the good karma of several donors. Wait until Guangxiao knows the deep meaning of the scriptures in the future, and then preach the scriptures in front of the donor. ”

"Monk, where did you get so much nonsense" At this time, the owner of the restaurant held a bowl full of water broth. put it in front of Guangxiao, and then scolded him: You can recite a paragraph if you want to hear what the old masters want, and treat the scriptures and the Bodhisattva have nothing to do with you. Makes the old man angry, will you still have your share in the future? After saying that, the boss didn't forget to snort fiercely.

"Shopkeeper, what you teach you is a lesson" There was no trace of embarrassment on Guangxiao's face, and after bowing to the boss and Gui Buyi, he folded his hands and began to recite the forty-two chapters. Although this is Sanskrit that no one can understand, Guangxiao recites it in a good way, and no one ever has any problems.

The so-called forty-two chapters of the sutra are just a record of the forty-two paragraphs that the Buddha said, and after reciting two or three paragraphs at a glance, Guangxiao said to a few people who do not return: "These paragraphs say that the Shamen Dao is less content and that men and women in the world should abide by the five precepts......"

Listening to Guangxiao's explanation, it was not at all like what he said was incomprehensible. After listening to it, he smiled and said to the former door: "It's also difficult for you, monk, when Xu Fu taught you the magic when you were in the Fangshi Sect, I didn't see Guangxiao you so attentive." I didn't expect to switch to it, so you put your heart into it. ”

Speaking of this, after the old guy paused, he continued to say to Guangxiao: "But my old man doesn't understand, Guangxiao, you spend here every day, how can you have time to crisscross between Fang Shi Yimen and Wen Tianlou?" Beware of you going too far, by this time one of them has already killed whom. Guangxiao, this is not for you, go and do your business, and continue to transfer discord between Fang Shi and Wentianlou. That's what you're going to do......"

Note: The Forty-Two Chapters Sutra is the first translated Buddhist text in ancient China. During the Eastern Han Dynasty, the disciples of the Liberation Sect were allowed to drink wine and eat meat, and whether they could eat it was another matter.
