Chapter 174: Neutrinos

On the fifteenth day of the lunar calendar again, men and women come to the stone Buddha temple to burn incense and worship the Buddha, some pray to marry a daughter-in-law, some pray to be admitted to university, and some pray to give birth to a big fat boy. Some pilgrims bring rice, some bring vegetables, some bring melons and fruits, and after burning incense, they collectively have lunch in the temple. Some pilgrims didn't bring anything, but paid for it. Some of them don't bring anything or money, they just eat, but their hearts are pious, and presumably the Bodhisattva will not blame them.

After lunch, the pilgrims went home one after another, and some took the leftovers with them, believing that the food that the Bodhisattva had eaten contained a panacea. Teacher Guo, the temple keeper, had lunch and continued to recite the scriptures in the temple, but the pilgrims could not understand them, and their understanding of the scriptures was nothing more than to teach people to do good, do more good deeds, and not harm others.

The Buddha statue in the temple is draped in red cloth and dressed in gold, solemn and solemn, and people with bad moral character will also change their past mistakes when they stand in front of the Buddha statue. After reciting the scriptures, Mr. Guo took a feather duster to wipe the dust off the Buddha statue. Mr. Guo's body is like a tree of enlightened wisdom, and his mind is like a bright mirror, and he wipes the Buddha statue neatly and brightly, without a trace of dust.

After dinner, Mr. Guo lit an oil lamp to illuminate the Buddha and Bodhisattva. In front of the Buddha statue, there are all kinds of tributes, and they are inexhaustible. With a very pious mood, Mr. Guo passed by the Buddha statues one by one, looked at the sound and appearance of the Buddha statues, admired them very much, and communicated with them attentively, hoping that everything would be good in the world. Teacher Guo came to the corner of the temple and saw a tablet, which was the tablet that Hu Kehao invited for the loyal and patriotic General Zhao in the cave, to enjoy the incense offerings and continue the energy and life in the fourth dimensional supernatural space. Teacher Guo didn't know that General Zhao had been beaten to the ground by the Yin Devouring King, and he could no longer enjoy these incense.

Mr. Guo saw a new Buddha statue at the end of the Buddha statue on the left. He remembered very well that there were a total of eighteen Buddha statues in the stone Buddha temple, and this nineteenth Buddha statue had not been available before. Teacher Guo took a closer look, this Buddha statue is similar to other Buddha statues, and there is nothing incongruous here. Teacher Guo thought to himself that this might be a Buddha statue brought by a pilgrim without permission. Since you have come to the Stone Buddha Temple, it means that the incense here is vigorous, which is a good thing. Teacher Guo did not see the new Buddha statue as an "outsider", but reverently welcomed him.

Among the offerings at the foot of this Buddha statue, several apples have been bitten by something, perhaps rats, or people. Such apples were not suitable as tributes, so Mr. Guo picked them out and took a few of the offerings in front of the other Buddha statues.

In the dead of night, Mr. Guo accompanied the cold moonlight in autumn, guarding the Buddha and Bodhisattva in the stone Buddha temple, praying for the safety of the villagers. When he arrived, a light flashed from outside the stone Buddha temple and floated towards the Buddha statue in the middle. Teacher Guo seemed to hear the sound of the tribute in front of the Buddha statue squirming. He tiptoed over and saw that some melons and fruits were unstable and rolled down from a high place. It's really strange that the tribute was so well placed just now that it is restlessly moving.

Teacher Guo walked in front of the nineteenth Bodhisattva and saw that there were tooth marks on the tribute. A cloud of air swirled in front of him, and all the bitten melons and fruits fell to the ground. Teacher Guo faintly heard a voice say, "Really, what you have eaten, how can I eat it?" ”

"This is my tribute, of course I can eat it." Another voice said.

"I'm a pure altar messenger bodhisattva, you are really impolite." The swirling air flow showed the true appearance of the pig, and it turned out that the messenger of the Pure Altar, Zhu Bajie, came to the Pure Altar, and the nineteenth Buddha statue was competing with him for tribute. The envoy of the pure altar eats intestinal hypertrophy and the measurement is also large, he doesn't care about these, the Buddha statue wants to eat tribute, let him eat it, although the food is not very good-looking.

When the messenger had finished the tribute, he had eaten his belly and lay down on the ground for a short rest. Suddenly, a disk appeared in the sky, about the size of the moon in the sky. Teacher Guo thought that the moon in the sky had fallen, so he ran to the gate of the temple to see. The disc is neat and bright, emitting colorful light towards the stone Buddha temple. The disc was like a mirror, and two images appeared in it, one was the appearance of Zhu Bajie, and the other was a handsome and dashing middle-aged man, dressed in black, he was the Yin Devouring King.

This disc is not the moon in the sky, but the Demon Suppression Mirror. It turned out that the Yin Devouring King was hiding in the Stone Buddha Temple, pretending to be the nineteenth Bodhisattva in the temple, enjoying the incense offerings of the Stone Buddha Temple, and constantly enhancing his energy. After Hu Kehao and Lin Xueyi took out the Demon Suppression Mirror from the Demon Suppression Cave, Hong Daoist was able to easily pick up the Demon Suppression Mirror outside the Demon Suppression Cave, and the mirror no longer jumped around, and he used the Demon Suppression Mirror to reveal the location of the Yin Devouring King.

The Demon Suppression Mirror can illuminate the hiding place of demons, and the principle is not complicated. The essence of this demon is a mass of energy, and if it stays in one place, it will affect the distribution of the surrounding material energy field. The light emitted by the Demon Suppression Mirror can be sensed by the demon's energy body, thus revealing the location of the demon, and discovering that the Yin Devouring King is hiding in the Stone Buddha Temple.

Ordinary light rays are constantly absorbed and their energy is constantly attenuated during propagation. However, the light emitted by the Demon Suppression Mirror is different from normal light, and contains a certain amount of neutrinos. In 1930, the Austrian physicist Pauli believed that in the process of β decay, in addition to electrons, a new particle with zero rest mass, electrically neutral, and different from photons is emitted and takes away another part of the energy. The interaction between this particle and matter is so weak that it is difficult for instruments to detect, and the particle has been named "neutrino" by scientists. Neutrinos only participate in very weak weak interactions and gravitational interactions, have the strongest penetrating power, and can easily pass through matter as thick as the diameter of the Earth. They are said to be able to effortlessly pass through light-years thick lead walls without crashing into any other particles!

If you put your thumb up, every second, tens of billions of neutrinos pass through your thumb. There must be a lot more neutrinos emitted from the Demon Suppression Mirror than this, and perhaps Professor Yang Shimo will be able to measure the number of neutrinos emitted by this mirror. It is precisely because of the super penetrating ability of neutrinos emitted by the Demon Suppression Mirror that even if it encounters mountains and rocks during its propagation, it will not be hindered by any matter, will not be absorbed, and will only be affected by the energy body of the demon. Although the neutrino penetration emitted by the Demon Suppression Mirror is very strong, the energy body of the demon will still decay during the propagation process, so the Demon Suppression Mirror also has a sensing range, which can sense demons within a radius of dozens of kilometers, and its function is more powerful than Professor Yang Shimo's cloud room.

After Hu Kehao and Lin Xueyi retrieved the Zhenmo Mirror, it was inconvenient to stay for too long, so they rushed back to U City University of Technology and U University to work and study respectively. When they needed their help, they would help. The Demon Suppression Mirror identifies demons based on their energy levels, and can be set to different energy ranges through different spells, so as to detect demons with different energy sizes.

Under the guidance of the abbot of Hanguang Temple, Master Hong searched for the energy of the demons from large to small, and the largest demon energy found was located in the Stone Buddha Temple. Hong Daoist assumed that the energy of the Yin Devouring King in the surrounding area was the largest, so the demon found by the Demon Suppression Mirror must be the Yin Devouring King. If there are other demons whose energy is more powerful than the Yin Devouring King, the Demon Suppression Mirror may find other demons, not the Yin Devouring King. By chanting other spells, the Master can set a lower energy range to detect ordinary lonely ghosts. In short, this Demon Suppression Mirror is magical, it can filter and screen demons that can't be energetic. Friends who are familiar with office software know that Excel software has a very powerful data filtering function.

Hong Daoshi's assumptions were not wrong, the surrounding area was indeed the strongest energy of the Yin Devouring King, and it was the Yin Devouring King that he had found. He followed the instructions of the Demon Suppression Mirror, and the Yin Devouring King was in the Stone Buddha Temple. Hong Daoist Xiaoxing stayed overnight, and came to the Stone Buddha Temple that night, holding a peachwood sword in his left hand and a demon suppression mirror in his right hand.
