Chapter 7: Tina
Next to the American Wizarding Guild, on a slightly silent street.
With the fluctuation on the surface of the air, Ye Qiong slowly walked out of it.
In his arms, sniffing and trembling, even if he touched his favorite gold and silver jewelry, this little guy did not dare to move, for fear of annoying the existence in front of him.
"Mo Duoran, why did you think that you would invite me out today!"
The other end of the street.
Grindelwald, who had turned into the head of the Magic Guild's security department, slowly walked in the direction where Ye Qiong was.
"Don't you want to know the whereabouts of the Silent One?"
Ye Qiong smiled slightly, and there was a British aristocratic gentleman's demeanor all over her body.
"Well, are you sure you're not kidding me?"
Grindelwald's brow furrowed slightly, and there was some uncertainty in his tone.
He had been searching for the Silent One for ten years, and just yesterday, the young man in front of him seemed to tell him that he did not know the whereabouts of the Silent One.
Why did he suddenly ask him today if he wanted to know?
Even with Grindelwald's shrewd mind, he couldn't react for a while, and he couldn't figure out what kind of medicine was being sold in Ye Qiong's bowl.
"How dare I, a small family heir, dare to deceive the great Grindelwald, my husband!"
Ye Qiong still smiled faintly.
That being said, Grindelwald didn't see the slightest respect in the other party's tone.
Of course.
According to Grindelwald's character, he didn't have the leisure to be serious with a little kid.
Yes.
In his view, Ye Qiong, the heir who had just turned eighteen, was undoubtedly a little child.
"Very well, you and I are all the same people, both for the greater good!"
Grindelwald's face raised slightly, and he stepped forward and patted Ye Qiong's shoulder.
Ye Qiong naturally immediately pretended to be flattered.
"Not bad!"
Grindelwald was very relieved to see this.
"Next, then, the whereabouts of the Silent One...... Tell me to put ......"
Grindelwald spoke.
"Naturally, there is nothing wrong with this!"
Ye Qiong nodded slightly: "However, while telling you the news, I have a reluctant request, I don't know if it's ......."
"Open your mouth, the hope of the dark arts!"
Grindelwald smiled, and it could be seen that he was in a good mood at the moment.
"My question is simpleβ"
Ye Qiong's smile suddenly became a little weird inexplicably: "All along, I have a doubt...... In all the time you spent with Dumbledore...... Who, exactly, plays the role of women......"

Meanwhile.
The Bank of New York, in front of a rather luxurious arc door.
Newt and Jacob walked out side by side.
I'm so sorry for thatβ"
After a long day of silence, Newt was the first to speak.
"What the hell is this? Some kind of top-notch magic show? Jacob's expression was shocked until this moment.
"You don't need to worry about anything. But now, unfortunately, you've seen so much, so if you don't mind β stand still β just take a moment. β
Newt seemed to remember something, and hurriedly searched for the wand in the strap of his clothes.
"Well, I don't think I need to, seriously, this ink magic trick is really good, it's exactly like the real thing-"
Jacob had a bad feeling in his heart.
The next moment, before Newt could react, Jacob climbed over the fence in front of the bank and fled in a hurry.
Newt stood with his head clutched for a moment, looking at Jacob's back in a bit of a daze.
Jacob was fast and hurried through the alley and into the crowd, and as soon as he disappeared into the crowd, a squad of policemen got out of the police car and cordoned off the place.
"Follow me!"
Newt was still in a daze, but a pair of jade hands suddenly rushed out of a corner and grabbed his shoulders.
"Shapeshift!"
With a crisp snort like a yellow bird, Newt's figure suddenly disappeared in place.
The next moment.
In front of a deserted path.
Newt's figure quickly appeared, and not only that, but beside him, another slender figure was revealed.
It was none other than Tina.
"Who are you?"
Tina pushed Newt down the corner for fear that someone would see her, and she gasped and bewildered, and angrily scolded Newt.
"Excuse me, what did you say?"
"Who the hell are you? I'll say your name. β
"Newt? Scamander. Who are you? β
Tina didn't bother with Newt's question, she said bluntly, "What's in your box?"
"It's just some of my daily necessities."
Newt said with a slight humility as he tried to change the subject, weakly pointing to the hot dog mustard that was still on Tina's lips, "Something got your-hmm." β
"See in De Flens? Dane's sake, how dare you deceive me? β
Tina's expression turned out to be a little nervous, obviously the first time she had done such a thing.
"You have some magical creatures in there, and besides, the guy who ran into the bank to steal the gold must have been brought by you!"
"I didn't mean toβSniff always kept taught, and as long as there was something shiny, it would-"
"You didn't mean to?" Tina interrupted him.
"Absolutely not." Newt affirmed.
"I just let the animal go at this juncture, and I'm really going to pick the time! It's a state of emergency! I'm going to take you away. β
Tina's tone was a little nervous.
"I'm sorry, er- what's going on here, can you tell me if you don't mind - and, where are you taking me?" Newt said.
Tina pulls out her official ID and takes it back seconds later, with photos of her event and a striking American eagle emblem: MACUSA. Newt didn't see anything else, only her date of birth: 1901.
"I have no comment on your first question, but I'm going to take you to the Magical Congress of the United States of America." Tina said solemnly.
Newt secretly complained in his heart, "So, you work for the Magic Congress, right?" What exactly does an investigator do? β
"Ahh.....h Tina hesitated and agreed, she tucked her ID back into her coat pocket, "That accomplice of yours, oh no, I said friend, where did he go?" β
"It has nothing to do with him, he doesn't even know I have such a strange animal, and I don't know where he went." Newt said.
"I'll investigate, what's his name?" Tina said.
"Benny, Jacob." Newt said without thinking.
"Okay, at least you've got that Noma in order, right?" Tina continued.
"What's that?"
"That No-Maji! None of the magicians β and no wizards! Tina became restless, her voice a little high-pitched.
"Uh, sorry, we call them Muggles."
"You've erased his memory, haven't you?" Tina gasped and really started to worry, "That Noma chicken carrying a suitcase? β
"Uh-huh....." Newt replied softly, looking uncertain.
"According to Article III, Paragraph 1 of the Wizarding Law enacted by the Wizarding Congress of the United States, Mr. Scamander, I will take you away." Tina said in amazement.
Without saying a word, she grabbed Newt's arm and cast her illusion again.
