Chapter 1489: The Imperial Tomb (2)

The Imperial Tomb, the world after the death of the emperor. Every generation of emperors believed that when people died, they would come to another world. So they always dig out their minds to bring the glory and wealth in front of them.

The imperial mausoleum system of the Tang Dynasty was a part of the funeral rites, which was a complex, detailed, specific and strict practical system. Like all dynasties, the Tang Empire was in ruins at the beginning of its founding, and many systems and regulations were constantly being determined and improved. After the implementation of several generations of emperors, during the Wu Zetian period, the imperial mausoleum system has been established, which includes the scale of the cemetery, the distribution of the palace group in the garden, the type and size of the stone carvings on both sides of the Shinto, the size of the underground palace, the standard and size of the burial items, and even the content of the murals in the tomb have specific regulations.

What the emperor has, of course, is the best, the highest and most beautiful, and ordinary people must not have the slightest deviant behavior, otherwise they will be killed. The joint burial tomb of Wu Zetian and her husband Tang Gaozong Li Zhi is the most complete embodiment of this system. In addition to the Ganling, the Tang Tomb with a complete system is the Tang Ruizong Bridge Mausoleum.

And in front of me is the mausoleum of Ruizong Li Dan.

The bridge faces south, and there is a long Shinto road that stretches from the mountain pass to the south to the rolling Weishui River. This is an avenue for future generations to worship and worship, and on both sides of the Shinto road from north to south are lined up with stone lions, stone people, stone horses, stone hedgehogs, stone ostriches and stone flowers. The scope of the inner cemetery includes the entire bridge mountain, and through archaeological excavations, experts have found the walls of the inner cemetery and the four gates of the east, west, south and north.

If the inner cemetery represents the imperial city where the emperor lived during his lifetime, the outer cemetery should be the symbol of the outer city, and it is the residence of courtiers, magnates, commoners, and merchants. In the archaeological investigation, the Zhaoling of Taizong of the Tang Dynasty has found part of the outer outline of the city wall, but the bridge tomb has not been seen so far, scholars believe that the outer mausoleum of the emperor may be equipped with an earthen wall, or it may be a pine and cypress wood as a tree wall, so in the county annals of some counties where the imperial tomb is located, there is often a "Baicheng" saying. It is likely that the cemetery outside the bridge mausoleum is to use the pine and cypress as the wall to separate a pure land outside the world for the monarchs and ministers who sleep underground to enjoy.

The outer cemetery is mainly placed in the burial tombs. As the name suggests, the people who can be buried with the emperor, in addition to blood relatives, are those courtiers who have made outstanding achievements and are highly valued. After death, it is a great honor to be able to be rewarded with land around the emperor's tomb and become the burial tomb of the Son of Heaven.

At the beginning of the Tang Dynasty, the style of burial was very prosperous, the dedication of Tang Gaozu Li Yuan, the Zhao Mausoleum of Tang Taizong Li Shimin, all have hundreds of large burial tombs, and the momentum is very spectacular. Starting from the Ganling, the funeral system has quietly undergone some changes, and those who can accompany the emperor are mainly those sons and grandsons who have direct blood relations, and the courtiers have become more and more individual. In the tomb of Ruizong Bridge Mausoleum, except for the tomb of Li Sixun, the son of the sect, the general Yunlu, the rest are his biological children.

I took Qingfeng and walked slowly into the scope of Li Sixun's cemetery, looking at the magnificent tomb in front of me, and sighed slightly.

General Yunlu was able to accompany Ruizong as a samurai, which is directly related to Ruizong's Li Dan's preference for calligraphy and painting. Li Sixun was an outstanding painter in the Tang Dynasty and a general with outstanding military achievements. Its painting style is exquisite and rigorous, with the heavy color of gold and green as the landscape, as fine as a hair, unique. In terms of brushwork, he can depict the changes of hills and ravines in a tortuous and changeable way, with strict law, superb artistic conception, strong brushwork, and complex colors, showing the development and maturity process of landscape painting from small green to big green, and is one of the founders of China's landscape painting school. It's a pity that all his works have been lost, and none of them have survived. Ruizong named him to accompany him to the bridge mausoleum, which shows that he loves Li Sixun's character, talent, calligraphy and painting very much, and is willing to be a monarch and minister forever with him, and always stay with him.

"Boss, what are we here for?" Qingfeng looked left and right: "The purple qi around is vast, which makes people really uncomfortable. ”

"I'm going to go into the tomb and get something." I said lightly.

"What's that?"

"I don't know, the emperor asked me to enter the coffin of his father Li Dan and then open the bag he gave me, saying that there was a hint in it." I took the bag out of my bosom and tossed it in my hand.

He had just taken another step forward when he suddenly heard several deafening shrill roars. More than a dozen strong winds swooped down on you. The voices were as fast as lightning, staggering through the air, making bursts of thunderous sounds.

Aomine palmed his hand, locked on a shadow with his gaze, and his right foot slid little by little, quickly flashed to its side, and hit it with the clutch of the demon. The phantom screamed and slammed into the wall of General Yunlu's tomb, sending dust flying.

When I looked closely, I saw a two-headed monster carved out of stone. The two heads on the monster's back are connected by a curved neck, and the two beast heads are carved into a deformed dragon face, with huge eyes wide open and a long tongue to the neck. A pair of giant antlers are inserted at each end, and the four antlers are full of weight, and the imagery is extremely strange and vivid. After the whole body is painted with black paint, red, yellow, and gold are used to paint the animal face pattern and hook the cloud pattern. The square seat is embossed with some geometric squares and decorated with diamond-shaped patterns, cloud patterns, and animal face patterns. The most strange thing is that the symmetrical body and the steady square base of the giant antlers create a mysterious atmosphere.

"Unlucky, it's actually a tomb beast. And there are 12 of them, which is a loss! I shouted depressedly: "Qingfeng, give me a retreat." The green lotus is out of the sheath, the mouth trembles the lotus, born in the house and grows in the house, the dust returns to the dust, and the soil returns to the soil. Exorcism of all demons seal. Disease! ”

The rune paper in his hand turned into a pile of fire, and suddenly flew into twelve orange-red flames, which burst out in a radial shape, and hit the twelve tomb beasts directly. The stone-carved monster struggles painfully in the fire, and the Exorcism Seal can remove the monsters and spiritual power attached to non-living things, which has an excellent destructive effect on this kind of attachment technique.

But this time, the tried-and-true approach didn't work much.

The twelve grave beasts roared again and leaped out of the fire with a wild roar, and all of them rushed towards me. I hurriedly put two magic talismans on my legs, and fled as soon as I smoked. Those stone monsters were unforgiving, and they were desperately chasing after me.

"Qingfeng, resist Lao Tzu!" I shouted, and Aomine answered, stretching open the Nayun barrier and enveloping me inside. The four eyes of the twelve tomb beasts turned red, and they desperately slammed into the barrier, and the originally strong barrier immediately became crumbling. I gasped and immediately took out the rune paper and added a few layers. It's finally safer!
