Therefore, the talent is comparable to the "Book of Songs" and the style of writing has not entered the period of "Cifu", in terms of artistic temperament, it is enough to approach the sages and scriptures, but "Chu Ci" is also. Is this just because the Chu people are so versatile?

In the past, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty (156 BC-87 BC the 7th emperor of the Western Han Dynasty) preferred "Lisao", and when Liu An (179-122 BC), the king of Huainan, wrote "The Biography of Lisao", he had this comment: ""National Style" is lustful but not lewd, "Xiaoya" is resentful but not chaotic, if "Lisao" is a person, it can be said to be both; In the midst of the cicadas' turbidity, floating outside the dust, they are nirvana, although they compete with the sun and the moon. ”

Ban Gu (32-92 AD) in his "Preface to the Divorce" has this assessment of Qu Yuan (c. 340-278 BCE): he likes to boast and make a name for himself, but he committed suicide by throwing himself into the river because of his inexplicability. In his works, the stories about Hou Yi, Zi Dou, and Youyu's two Yao girls are inconsistent with the records of "Left Turn"; Moreover, the deeds of Kunlun and its peaks are not found in the Confucian classics. However, his articles are indeed gorgeous and elegant, opening up a precedent for rhetoric, although he is not good at philosophical speculation, and is undoubtedly a literary wonder.

Wang Yi (a famous writer of the Eastern Han Dynasty from Yicheng, Nanjun County) said in his "Chu Ci Chapters and Sentences": "The Book of Songs" complains about grievances, and Qu Yuan is humble and elegant. "Lisao" is written and established, and it must quote scriptures, like riding the dragon and riding the wind, citing the "Book of Changes", its Kunlun quicksand, according to "Yu Gong". Subsequently, the scriptures were given to everyone, and they all followed suit. Therefore, Qu Yuan can be called a person who is "golden and jade, unparalleled in a hundred worlds".

All review articles, if they are verified and investigated, must be illustrated and cited. For example, "Lisao", which states Tang Yao and Yu Shun's uprightness, or praises Shang Tang Zhou Wu's awe and shunda, is completely in line with the style of "Yaodian" and "Tang Huan" in "Shangshu"; The ridicule of Xia Wei's arrogance and paranoia, or the downfall of the heartbroken Hou Yi, is exactly in line with the purpose of persuasion and irony in the Book of Songs. Another example is "Shijiang" uses the dragon as a metaphor for a frank gentleman, and "Lisao" uses Yunni as a metaphor for a traitorous villain, isn't this the meaning of "than" and "xing" in the "Book of Songs"? There is also the touching emotion of Qu Yuan's "Lamentation", and Song Yu (about 298-222 BC, also known as Ziyuan and Yan Ren in the Warring States Period) "Nine Arguments" The Nine Arguments of the Monarch are not the embodiment of patriotism and loyalty in the "Book of Songs...... Looking at the above four contents, they are not only in harmony with the scriptures, but also in the same line. As for "Lisao", such as driving eight dragons to hang cloud flags, carrying the gods to find Luoshen, begging birds to matchmaker and girls, etc., it is indeed a broad and grotesque rhetoric; For example, "Tianwen" talks about "working together to pour the earth" and "Houyi shoots the sun", and "The Conjuring" says "nine heads to pull out trees" and "three eyes of the earth god", etc., which are really unbelievable imaginations; In addition, "Lisao" is high-profile and willing to learn from Peng Cheng to throw himself into the water, and "Nine Chapters: Sad Returns" is determined to serve Zixu Corpse River, such wild words are unruly chivalry; If you talk about "The Conjuring", why does it exaggerate the mixed places of men and women without excessively, and why it depicts day and night drunkenness without excessive lewdness, probably to express the ultimate of indulgence and entertainment...... Looking at the above four facts, it is indeed different from the previous scriptures.

If compared with ancient classics such as "Shangshu" and "Book of Songs", the pros and cons of Chu Ci are roughly as mentioned above. From this point of view, Chu Ci is inferior to the classics of the three generations, similar to the "wind" and "elegance" during the Warring States Period, but it is the development of the "Elegance" and "Song" of the Book of Songs. Looking at the physical theme of Chu Ci, although it is integrated with the scriptures, in terms of rhetorical imagination, it can be unconventional and dare to be unconventional. Like "Lisao" and "Nine Chapters", the wording is hearty and magnificent, appealing to grievances, while "Nine Songs" and "Nine Arguments" are beautiful and lyrical and touching; For example, "Far Travel" and "Tianwen", the writing is strange and bizarre, and Tuo Zhi is full of energy, while "The Conjuring" and "The Great Move" are gorgeous in rhetoric and magnificent, and the imagination is flying freely; Another example is "Divination", which flaunts the true meaning of doing what you want; There is also "The Fisherman", which embodies an outstanding temperament. Therefore, once the above beautiful people are listed, Chu Ci can be called a grand view, and the purpose is enough to carry forward the past and forge ahead into the future, especially the wonderful artistic attainments, which have already overwhelmed the crowd.

Since Wang Bao (about 513-576 A.D., Zi Yuan Langya, Linyi people, Southern and Northern Dynasties writers) "Jiuhuai", those who pursue the style of Chu Ci have not surpassed Qu Yuan and Song Yu's elegant literary brilliance. The reason for this, like Qu Yuan and Song Yu, poured out their feelings and grievances, and their depression was deep and truly touching; narrates the loneliness of parting, sad and unforgettable; Pointing to the mountains and rivers, the sound and emotion seem to be vivid; Depicting the changes of the four seasons, the wind and snow night seem to be within reach. Therefore, Mei Cheng (?-140 BC Shu Huaiyin people in the Western Han Dynasty Ci Fu family), Jia Yi (200-168 BC Taifu Luoyang people, famous political commentators and writers in the early years of the Western Han Dynasty) followed the style of Chu Ci and were able to create the Liju Huazhang, while Sima Xiangru (about 179-118 BC Changqing Shu County Chengdu people in the Western Han Dynasty Ci Fujia), Yang Xiong and others continued the aftermath of Chu Ci and finally achieved immortal works...... Literati like this who have benefited from Chu Ci are not limited to people from a generation of people!

Those who grind Chu Ci can be highly sensitive and can understand the righteousness; Opportunistic hunting, you can learn beautiful words; The imitation of chanting the wind and the moon can pass through the momentum of the mountains and rivers; The profane play of children can know the name of the grass and the fragrance of flowers. Among them, no matter who they are, if they dream of galloping in the literary world, the most important thing must be: grasp the chariot of the classical scriptures, take charge of the "elegance" and "song" criterion of the "Book of Songs", and boldly control the radiant Chu Ci...... Only in this way, even if you explore the strange and secluded, you will not lose the right way; Although there are many tricks, they will not go astray; Although he looks forward to Shenfei, he can still be familiar with it; Even though it is everywhere, it seems to be readily available, it is still decent, and it can be reasonable...... If this is the case, why envy Sima Xiangru's talent, and why hope for Wang Bao's praise?
