Chapter 6 Falling into a dream

When they arrived at the base, it was almost noon, so they were taken to the field hospital for further examination and given them a nutrient solution with water.

The three of them were sent to different rooms to rest and check, and Ling Moyu felt as if there was no more discomfort except for lack of water and hunger. When he arrived at a safe place, he completely relaxed, and suddenly lay on the bed, tired and sleepy, and the fierce beast that wanted to suddenly exert his strength attacked Ling Moyu's whole body. The eyelids are more like they have ten times the gravitational acceleration, and they can't lift them up, and the whole person falls into the silence of the desolation, and everything in the outside world disappears.

I don't know how long it has been, or if there is no time at all, Ling Moyu has returned to his hometown, and returning home can remind people of carefree days.

It was a sunny summer vacation morning, Ling Moyu and a group of friends were ready to go out on an adventure, and they knew that at the edge of the city, at the foot of the hill, there was an abandoned air-raid shelter. Usually few people go, and there are stories of ghosts in the bomb shelters among the children in the small town, and for the boys, the impulse to explore is like an innate instinct, especially a slightly terrifying adventure, tempting young beings who are full of infinite curiosity about the world.

It was a major event that had been planned for a long time, and they were well prepared for it, bringing flashlights, matches, sticks, and even food.

To the northwest of the town is a small hill, the last remnant of the rolling hills, which, like other cities, was home to large and small air defense facilities during the worst years of war. This air-raid shelter halfway up the mountain is the largest one, which was built by many engineering troops back then, this hill looks inconspicuous in fact, the underground situation is complicated, the construction process is extremely difficult, and the legend has sacrificed several soldiers, which adds to the mysterious and terrifying atmosphere.

A few of them came to the foot of the hill, which is not high and has no places of interest, although it is not far from the city, it is basically unpatronized. The hill is overgrown with weeds and bushes, many wild trees have sharp needles, and there was originally a long staircase that has fallen into disrepair and has been broken.

Climbing the broken steps, weeds, and shrubs, they came to the entrance of the bomb shelter, an arched entrance made of concrete, with a few mottled dark red letters on the door beams, the paint of "Prepare for war, prepare for famine, for the people" had peeled off, and the steps down were dark, leading long to the depths of the invisible underground.

They were originally full of curiosity and confidence, but looking at the entrance that looked like a monster's giant mouth, they couldn't help but be a little timid, and neither of them wanted to show the appearance of cowards, and encouraged each other to go down first, and no one was willing to take one more step.

"What are you afraid of, since you're here, let's go in and have a look, I want to see what the ghost looks like!" In the end, Ling Moyu said with a heart.

Having said that, but he also gave himself courage, and when the others saw him, they all came to their senses, and they followed Ling Moyu into it, and as they continued to go down, the hot weather was about cooler the more they went down. In the underground of the black hole, I can see by the light of the flashlight, and the walls on both sides are painted with black graffiti, most of which are human affairs and crooked women's bodies. Seeing this, it aroused the teenagers' rhapsodies, and they laughed and played, making them forget the danger of the road ahead for a while.

Due to disrepair, the cement on the walls has fallen off in some places, and in some places there is still dripping water on the roof. As they walked, suddenly a black thing came out of front and rushed towards them, so frightened that they screamed, and were about to turn around and run, but when they looked closely, it turned out to be a big mouse, and it ran over in black.

After walking a distance of about a few tens of meters, I came to a junction with three roads in front of me, leading in three directions. Which way to go? Several people hesitated for a long time, and finally decided to take the middle one, the others hid behind, and Ling Moyu used a flashlight to shine into the dark tunnel. There was some fog in it, and the flashlight could shine on the white, and I couldn't see how far it was, and a child picked up a stone and threw it into the distance, and after a while I heard the sound of the stone falling to the ground, and some rolled forward for a while.

It seemed that there was nothing special, so everyone went boldly into the cave, and as they walked, a child looked up and saw as if something was moving on the roof of the cave. He picked up a rock from the ground and threw it at the top, which unexpectedly caused a huge reaction, which turned out to be a group of bats resting. The stone smashed on a bat, and the frightened bat, "fluttering", flew up at once, and the other bats that were mixed with it also took off and flew towards the entrance of the cave.

There must be thousands of bats in the dark hole, flapping their wings like a group of demons dancing wildly, and the distance is so close that many of them fall on the children.

All of a sudden, the children also blew up the camp, screaming and running back, and everyone panicked and rushed out with one foot deep and one foot shallow. When he ran to the three-way intersection, Ling Moyu was hit by the child next to him, his feet slipped and fell, and the flashlight was also knocked away, falling to the ground without light.

Ling Moyu hurriedly got up and went around to touch the flashlight, but he couldn't find it, and after a while, the rest of the children ran away, and the flashlight was not found, so he had to stand up and continue running.

When he stood up, he found that it was broken! He had lost his direction, and he didn't know that the entrance of the cave was an exit, and it turned out that the three entrances and one exit were ninety degrees to each other, and he couldn't tell which was out and which was in the middle.

The young Ling Moyu stood alone in place, he was at a loss for what to do, he was sweating profusely, and the feeling of fear became stronger and stronger as time passed by second, as if there were countless eyes staring at him around him, and the holes around him were like a bloody mouth had been opened, just waiting for him to throw himself into the net.

Then another bat flew out of the darkness, and he concluded that the opposite side must be the exit, and he ran in that direction as if he were dead.

He ran and ran, the more he ran, the more he felt bottomless, the more he ran, the more scared he became, it seemed that he had not been here just now, he felt that he had run far, far away, and he had already exceeded the distance he had come in, but he had not yet reached the end of the road!

But he did not dare to stop, for fear that if he stopped, he would be swallowed up by the darkness, and he did not know how far he had run, nor how long time had passed, when suddenly there was a glimmer of light in front of him. The boy became excited and continued to run forward, the light became bigger and bigger, from a photoelectric light at the beginning, gradually turned into a ball of light, and then expanded into a piece.

Only then did Ling Moyu realize that he was already in a room with a spherical dome, the light was emitting from all around, and there was no obvious light source, and the white light similar to sunlight was very soft and comfortable.

The hall was empty, Ling Moyu looked up at the top of the sphere, it turned out to be a starry sky, these stars seemed to be real, because there were also meteors flashing quickly in the middle. One day, the Milky Way was in the center, and Ling Moyu could even feel the stars flowing in the Milky Way like quicksand.

The gravitational pull from the sky immediately attracted all his attention, making him forget his fear, and he had thrown himself into swimming freely in the beautiful and boundless galaxy.
