These are some of my achievements in this book, which are meager but contented for me as a first-time novelist.

【Origin】

Why write a novel?

On the one hand, it is interest, and on the other hand, after reading a lot of novels, I feel that others are not good enough, such as vague map settings, far-fetched logic, difficult to understand and imagine spatial design, unclear time and year, etc.

Based on the above two reasons, I came up with the idea of writing a novel, and it became more and more intense, and I felt that I could write better than others, so I finally put it into action.

Of course, when I started to write a novel, I also had a little bit of caution, that is, I wanted to see if I could earn some manuscript fees.

After actually starting to write novels, I realized that writing novels was not as simple as I imagined.

Expectations are high!

The drop is huge!

Give up at one point!

Re-write!

Tend to be bland!

Stick to the end!

The above is probably my entire psychological journey when writing this book. Looking back at the past at this point in time, I find that there were indeed some deficiencies in the writing at that time.

The first is ideation and outline. In the early stage, the mind was too big, and the whole world was designed to be too large, but in fact, it was beyond my ability to control. Because the idea was too grand, the outline design couldn't keep up, and I barely planned the content of the first 250 chapters, and the outline from 250 to 500 chapters became very simple, and many of them had to be supplemented and improved temporarily. The outline after 500 chapters is not available at the beginning, and it is all planned while writing, which should be a big taboo for writing.

The second is writing skills. I didn't go through any training or training, and I was completely passionate about writing. I don't know the so-called rules of the golden three chapters, and I don't know much about the setting of the gold finger, so it's basically designed according to preference. There are no new, attractive elements or innovations, and the content is mediocre. The combination of various factors makes this book seriously lacking in attractiveness.

The third is the slow update speed. This is a tough problem for me, because I have to work during the day and I don't always have time to write novels at night, which is a huge test for readers. I'm also a reader.,I know the reader's requirements for the speed of updates.,Like me, I can't even do one update a day.,Unless the reader likes the novel very much.,Basically give up after watching it.。

Finally, there is writing and experience. When I was writing a novel, I deeply felt that I was seriously deficient in both novel experience and life experience, resulting in the inability to write full plots and flesh-and-blood characters, which made it difficult for readers to have a sense of substitution.

The above four points are some of the shortcomings that I can think of. Of course, it is not for nothing that the whole novel is written.

First of all, it is a very proud thing to be able to finish writing and be able to complete more than 2 million words.

Secondly, I think I have done a good job in terms of plot logic, basically everything can be explained reasonably, I can justify myself, and the holes I dug or the foreshadowing I buried can be well filled in or used.

Thirdly, I put a lot of thought into the map in the early stage, which is rare for other authors. There were also maps in the later stage, but they were just sketches, so they were not released.

Finally, this book is relatively well handled in terms of time, and basically has obvious time nodes. And I will update the memorabilia in real time when I write, and I can upload it for everyone to see later.

In general, this book has advantages and disadvantages, and not being able to sign a contract is the biggest regret, which also reflects that the shortcomings of this book outweigh the advantages.

[Follow-up]

The story of becoming the emperor is not finished yet, and there is still a lot to write. I'll continue to plan the plot later.,But when I'll be able to open a new book.,I don't know.。

At present, there are several main ideas:

1. Write the second part of the trilogy, tell the story of the West Desert opposite the East Sea, where the "West Sword" will appear;

2. Write some side stories, short- and medium-length novels of tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of words, you can write about Lan Qian's first two years in the closed valley, you can also write about the experience of Lan Qian in white clothes, and you can also tell the stories of the past or future of Dongbei Supreme, Medicine Emperor Dongzang, Lan Jing, Badao, Bu Lanyan, Han Feizi, Lin Xiaotian, Jiuxu, Gu Ruo, Lan Ji and others;

3. Continue to write the story of Lan Qian in the Eight Great Empires;

4. Write stories about clones in other worlds, but this will be planned after all the things on the War Demon Continent are written.

At this stage, I'm most inclined to idea 2, first write one or two side stories to practice hands, and then 1 or 3. But either one is not so fast, the next thing to do is to give the brain a good rest, and no longer rack your brains to think about how to write the follow-up plot. I will look for a few novels to read first, supplement and supplement my knowledge and experience!
