Chapter 11: Substitutions
Jiang Chengze blew the wind for a while, turned around and returned to the bar, and was just about to repeat his old trick and hide in the staff passage, when he was pulled by someone.
"The manager isn't here." The man said calmly, but the movements under his hand were very similar to Jiang Chengze's posture of splitting him in half if he dared to take a further step.
Jiang Chengze raised his eyes to see the strong man who was half a head taller than him, turned back to the bar with kindness, propped up the smooth countertop and turned into the inside, and pushed away the stunned bartender.
"I heard you have a lot of good wine here?" Jiang Chengze looked up at the treasures in the upper glass cabinet, his fingertips running dangerously across the shiny locks.
Until his gaze was caught by a dusty red wine bottle.
Jiang Chengze raised his eyebrows and looked carefully through the glass, and suddenly sighed twice, "There is actually a ChateauLafite?" β
He suddenly turned his head to catch the man as strong as an orangutan in the crowd, playfully blinked his right eye, raised his hand to sweep away the bartender who pounced, and smashed the specially treated glass with his fist in the other.
The movement really couldn't cover the loud music, but the strong man's face turned pale with fright, and he raised his hand to turn off the stereo.
The hall suddenly fell silent, and everyone watched Jiang Chengze's bloody palm take the wine bottle out of the broken glass in this strange and dangerous silence.
The pain of the wound seemed to be insignificant, and Jiang Chengze walked around the inside of the bar, bowing his head to find the bottle opener in the drawer.
The strong man licked his chapped lips nervously, "You can't move that." β
Jiang Chengze hummed out an out-of-tune syllable in his nose, "I know," he calmly took out the corkscrew, leaned slightly sideways and pressed his hip bone against the drawer to close the drawer, "So what?" β
The sharp spiral-shaped metal object penetrated deep into the already somewhat hardened wooden stopper, Jiang Chengze moved slowly and methodically, occasionally lifting his eyelids to look at the strong man, "Huh? Talk, so what? β
The strong man clenched his fists, "Do you know what this is?" β
Why don't you know, Jiang Chengze secretly thought, one of the most expensive wines, the treasure of words.
I knew that Yan Shi hid such a bottle, but he couldn't turn it over in the third area, but he didn't expect it to be placed in such an ordinary place.
Sure enough, the most dangerous places are the safest.
"Look at you," Jiang Chengze sighed, slowly pulling out the wooden plug with his wrist, "Why can't you understand people's words, what I just asked was, what, what?" β
The strong man hated to smash the table, "The manager is really not here!" β
Jiang Chengze nodded with satisfaction, "What about others?" β
"You're embarrassed to ask!" The strong man said, "What about the hospital!" β
Jiang Chengze threw away the half-opened wine bottle and walked out of the door to the hospital.
Ye Wen probably received the news earlier, and was sitting in the garden downstairs of Linhai Hospital with his coat on.
"Yo? This is getting out of bed? Jiang Chengze familiarly leaned over and sat down beside him, and the two brothers leaned on his shoulder.
"If you have something to say, say it quickly." Ye Wen didn't hide, as if sitting quietly was enough to make him exert his strength.
Jiang Chengze thought about it, and was just about to open his mouth, when a gust of wind arose on the seaside, sending the extremely faint smell of smoke on Ye Wen's body into his nasal cavity. The words on the edge of his mouth changed, "You are injured and still smoking?" β
Ye Wen stared at him and didn't speak until Jiang Chengze suddenly said, "Have you been here?" β
"Hmm." Ye Wen replied in a low voice, turned his face away, his expression was so calm that it almost froze, but his fingertips unconsciously grinded the fabric on his abdomen, "You have been ...... recently Check out the bars more. β
Jiang Chengze was stunned, "Are you kidding? β
Ye Wen glared at him angrily, "Can I still kill you for this kind of thing?" β
Jiang Chengze asked, "Is your decision still in words?" β
"I," Ye Wen said, "I can't go to the bar recently, even if you win, get out of here." β
Jiang Chengze got up with a smile, he didn't expect that what he couldn't get from Yanshi's hands would fall into his hands in other ways so quickly.
He quickly returned to the bar to hand over the work, and the terminal scanned and copied the documents at high speed, simply screened them, and sent them directly to the headquarters of the first district.
Even Saiman's voice trembled a little when he called, "Is there really a Yan family force in the seventh district?" β
"Do you think everyone is like you? Old waste. Jiang Chengze's legs were folded, "This is just a business network of a bar, I will find out the rest of the strongholds as soon as possible." β
"In addition, the words are suspicious of me, if there is a situation, I will immediately withdraw to the first district, don't expect me to be in danger for you, you are not worthy."
Jiang Chengze frowned and flipped through the transaction amount that was hundreds of pages long, and the secret words were really the three rabbit holes.
Even if the headquarters of the third district is destroyed, these seven districts will be enough for him to eat and drink spicy food for several lifetimes.
Jiang Chengze remembered that it was actually a bit of a serious matter to find Ye Wen by himself, but since the bar was in his hands, it was not impossible for him to handle it himself.
Jiang Chengze dialed the doctor's phone, "I said that I had an appointment at the bar tonight, will you come?" β
The doctor said, "Here." β
At dusk, the doctor smiled and sent away the last patient with tears and anger, took a deep breath in the hallway, turned back to his room, took off his white coat, put on a black coat, and locked the door.
Jiang Chengze was bombarded with the phone, and the doctor hurriedly picked it up, "It's coming, I just gave an aunt a bone, and I wasted a lot of time......"
Jiang Chengze said curiously, "You don't know how to take bones?" β
"I didn't know before," the doctor laughed, "but since I cured you, I seem to have opened up the second pulse of Ren Du, and suddenly I have opened my mind." β
Jiang Chengze's belly slander, bullshit, obviously cured by words.
"Come on, come quickly."
The doctor paused at the overly decorated doorway, pursed his lips, and tried to retreat.
Behind him, a group of drunks suddenly stumbled, shouting to knock the audience down, and squeezed the discouraged doctor into the door.
The doctor stood blank for a long time in the frenzied music, absentmindedly calling Jiang Chengze.
Unexpectedly, no one answered.
What kind of person, the doctor was dissatisfied with the slander, and called the person over and disappeared again.
He bypassed a pair of kissing and selfless men and women, walked into a secluded corner, clicked on the terminal, and called up a flat map.
Fortunately, I saved it myself.
The doctor didn't believe that Jiang Chengze would make such a low-level mistake as sending something wrong, which was obviously some kind of hint or guidance.
He stalked along the base of the wall, looking down to zoom in on the map, and found a very inconspicuous triangular sign in the northwest corner.
The doctor secretly calculated the approximate scale of the map as he searched, measuring it with his feet until his toes touched the cold tiles.
When I looked up, it was a pillar, and behind it was the staff passage.
There must be ghosts.
The doctor examined the seemingly smooth tiles inch by inchβuntil he felt a gap between the tiles that was slightly wider than the others.
I'm afraid that's it.
He followed the gap to the approximate location of the secret door, and then pressed hard against the tile in the center of the secret door.
A very soft electronic sound passed through the noisy background sound into the eardrum, and then the entire secret door caved into the pillar.
The doctor raised an eyebrow and looked at the corner of the staircase emerging from the darkness in front of him, and felt that something was wrong.
It's too rudimentary, isn't it?
To the extent that an ordinary guest can open it as soon as he touches it, what can he do with this?
Do you have more money to burn and play?
The doctor intuitively knew it was a trap, and he took a few steps back, looking for a way to close the door.
A few messy footsteps sounded behind him, and the doctor drew his gun and loaded it on guard, his body was faster than his eyes, and the muzzle of the gun hit the waiter's head, and the doctor saw that he was overly nervous.
"You ......" He was about to speak, when he was suddenly dragged into the secret passage from behind.
Jiang Chengze raised his hand to adjust the angle of the incandescent lamp, looked down for a while, and clapped his hands with satisfaction and jumped off the stool.
"It is said that the strong light makes the prisoner nervous," he said, dragging a chair, "I think you're okay?" Are you afraid? β
The doctor curled the corner of his bruised lips with difficulty, "What are you holding me for?" We're clearly on one side. β
Jiang Chengze stretched out his index finger and shook it left and right, "Words can't be nonsense, I, Jiang Chengze, have been loyal to the style of speech for a lifetime, what are you?" Well? Undercover? β
The doctor's pupils shrank suddenly, and he yelled hard at the man in black standing guard at the door, "He's also undercover!" Why didn't you arrest him?! β
Jiang Chengze looked at him for a long time, hooking his fingers to the gun and pulling out a few flowers with perfect arcs.
Until he finally frowned and showed an impatient expression, his wrist shook and pinched the grip, and he shot hard at the ceiling.
"You're so noisy." Jiang Chengze stretched out his little finger and plucked his ears, "Really, you have to be beaten if you are still so skinny in the enemy's territory." β
With that, he got up from his chair and half-crouched in front of the doctor.
"Do what?" The doctor asked vigilantly.
"You're so smart," Jiang Chengze smiled and stroked the side of his ear, "smart and bold." β
The doctor gritted his teeth and said, "Take your hand away!" β
"Where is he?" Jiang Chengze's tone dropped along with the volume, falling on his ears like a clear frost, flat but cold.
The doctor was stunned.
Five days ago, late at night, the door of the clinic was knocked on by a young man in black.
The doctor rubbed his eyes and opened the door, and as soon as he asked what he meant, he was neatly knocked unconscious by the young man and dragged into the back room.
The next day, the stranger patients came and went, and no one knew that the usually lively doctor was silent.
"Little cub," Jiang Chengze hugged his chest and crushed the thin human skin mask with his toes, "You're still too tender." β
The young man snorted coldly and turned his face away, "He was slaughtered by me a long time ago, if you want to avenge him, don't ink." β
Jiang Chengze smiled, he sat back in his chair, "What's your name?" β
The boy continued to snort, "Why should I tell you? β
As soon as the words fell, the closed door was pushed open from the outside.
Ye Wen panted and came in with his hands on the door frame, "Where did you come from undercover?" β
He looked weak and pale, probably in a hurry on the road, and his forehead was covered with a fine layer of sweat, and even his face was a little ruddy.
The boy's nose twitched slightly, and he frowned and looked up in confusion. The incandescent light blinded, and he narrowed his eyes to see a blurry figure beyond the aperture.
Until Ye Wen got closer, half of his face was looked at by the edge of the halo, and the drawing was so delicate that people couldn't take their eyes off it.
"I'm not undercover." The stinky boy rushed to say.
Jiang Chengze kicked his stool legs, "It's not an undercover agent, what are you looking for us to do in the secret passage?" β
The young man lowered his thick eyelashes, looking innocent and pitiful, "I'm just curious......"
Jiang Chengze, "...... How do you change your face faster than you can flip through a book? β
Ye Wen patted him away, "Don't be idle," he sat in Jiang Chengze's position and looked the young man up and down, "What's your name?" β
"Luo Xi, what about you, brother?" Luo Xi said happily.
Jiang Chengze: ???
