Chapter 37: The Bunker Lost
The light was coming down from the stairs, but there was no sound of footsteps, and the light did not appear to be an artificial light source.
The two breathed a sigh of relief, and then walked up the light, and soon they found a hidden observation point at the top of the watchtower, where there was a statue of a vampire count on the edge of the outer wall at the top of the tower, from which the light was emitted.
This was indeed the site of Count Dracula, and Luna looked at the fierce demon face, the two sharp white fears hanging under the hooked nose of the eagle, and he was wrapped in a black robe, and the light emanated from his ghost robe.
Luna walked to the edge of the watchtower, and the vampire count's nose glowed and pointed straight down, the back garden of Dragul's castle. If I'm not mistaken, here's what the castle blueprint doesn't show, and it's likely the place Hudson's letter says.
"Luna?"
Alice looked at Luna suspiciously, "What's wrong?" β
"Why did your right eye turn blue?"
"Purple?" Luna finds a small pool of stagnant water on the watchtower and takes a photo: she is surprised to find that her right eye is the color of her left eye, which is a bit like a wolf's eye.
At this moment, Luna's vision came again, and the woman in white who had been surrounding her vision for the past few days reappeared, what was going on?
She turned her face to me, and Luna could clearly see the smile under her hood, and then she walked over to the statue of Dracula to the side, and with a gentle push of her hand, the statue shook.
Luna focused all her attention on the woman in white, what was going on? She smiled at Luna again, and instead of paying much attention to her, she jerked around and kicked the statue off, which fell straight down and smashed the floor in the center of the garden, where a large hole had been broken.
"Luna?" Alice stepped forward and patted Luna, who looked back at Alice, and Alice continued, "What's wrong with you?" β
"Huh?" Luna looked surprised, and she looked around to find herself standing in the position of the woman in white.
Luna shook her head violently, and when she came back to her senses, she looked at the woman in white next to her, she had mysteriously disappeared again, and the statue of Dracula was standing next to me untouched, what was this? Could it be......
Luna focused her eyes on her eyes, scanning the ground beneath her like a wolf running its prey hidden in the white snow. After a few seconds, she spotted a faint light in the shade of a weedy tree. The trees were like mosaics that obscured the faint light, and yes, it was from where the light came from.
As the sun began to shine on the battlements, it was time to act, and Luna knew that every minute of delay in the status quo would increase the danger, so they had to fight quickly.
"Alice, come here." Luna called out to Alice, and she walked towards Lu Nan, "Do you see that faint light below?" β
"Hmmm......"
"Good." "Let's measure the distance and the angle. With that, Luna measured the angle with her right eye, "Okay, come over and help." Luna said to Alice, and the two approached the statue of Dracula, pushing it down.
The statue rolled off its pedestal, and then rolled over the low wall, tumbling and smashing towards the light in the shade of the tree. Seemingly at the right angle, Luna and Alice leap into the air decisively. Luna turned on the Gryffind's anti-gravity system again, only to see the statue smash to the ground first, and the two of them followed nearly twenty feet behind. They almost coincided with the statue's whereabouts, slamming into what seemed to be hard ground.
Just then, the Gryfin bracelets activated, and as the gravity membrane opened, they quickly came to a halt twenty feet above the ground.
With a "bang", the statue smashed accurately into the ground where the light overflowed, and the whole ground was suddenly smashed out of a large hole, revealing a huge hole that went straight to the ground. Seeing this, Luna turned off the gravity membrane, and then fell into the hole with Alice, and slid down a forty-five-degree ramp, the two of them stretched out their legs and used their arms to control the direction of the slide, and the statue was right in front of them. With a splash of water, the two fell into a large underground lake with the statue.
When they resurfaced to the surface, Luna realized that it was actually a large pond built into a secret room. Alice quickly discovers an antechamber, as the center of gravity of the building is carved out of a large gray stone. Under the erosion of time, the façade of the entire gate has been extremely smooth.
It seemed that they weren't the only visitors here, as the sound of falling water drew six guards, who yelled and lunged at them. They were accompanied by a man in mining overalls, wearing a dusty apron and a toolbox on his shoulder, and a shovel and shovel in his hand indicating his identity, though he had been stunned by the presence of the two.
The two jumped onto the shore of the pool, and the guards slashed at her, and Luna steadied herself. Then they turned to face them, and somehow the guards suddenly showed fear in their eyes, and that was enough.
Their brief hesitation earned Luna and Alice a head start. Luna jerked out her left hand and threw Victoria out, her right hand reaching forward so hard that the switchblade on her wrist track instantly unsheathed as it rotated. After a light attack from the left and right of the bow, the two managed to lock the blades by the throats of the two guards closest to her, sending them to hell.
The others immediately formed a circle, keeping a safe distance from the two of them and attacking them like cobras. Alice jerked forward, slammed one of the guards off the pond with a slam on her shoulder, and then she quickly stabilized her center of gravity and swung the white fox knife back, and the head of the fourth guard was chopped off by her with a "swish". That wasn't enough, Alice thrust the white fox into the ground, then grabbed the arm of the fifth guard who was rushing towards her, and threw him over the shoulder to the sharp rock. With a crisp crack of a bone, the man's internal organs splattered to the ground and turned into shattered data.
In the end, it seemed that the captain of the group of guards faced the two of them, and he desperately ordered the miner next to him to come and help, but he was just dreaming, how could the miner who was like sifting chaff move a step? After seeing Luna walking towards him, the team leader retreated in horror until he leaned against the rock behind him.
Luna leaned in, intending to hit him with the hilt of her sword, but the desperate leader decided to give it a go, pulling out a blade from his waist and stabbing Luna in the abdomen, Luna deftly dodged his attack and then kicked sideways, sending him overboard. Before the two guards could react, Luna threw Victoria into the water, and the water immediately froze, freezing the two men who were about to come ashore into solid ice sculptures.
Luna's hand flicked upward, and Victoria broke through the ice, and when she returned to her hand, the ice burst along with the two ice sculptures, and the mist from the melting ice turned the cave into a brief curtain of water, and the two turned towards the miner.
The miner was about the same age as Mr. William, but he was already out of shape, and he had been scared into a pile of mud by them.
"Don't kill me." The man trembled and pleaded, "I'm just a worker, really, I'm just a passerby who was forced to come up to work in order to support my family!" β
"What are you doing here?" Luna asked, then wiped the blade off the switchblade on the Switchblade with the soldier's clothes on the ground, and put it back on the track on the cuff. The poor miner calmed down a little, but he still held the shovel and shovel. Alice keeps an eye on the guy in his hand, but the miner doesn't seem to realize that he still has two "murder weapons" in his hands, and Luna lets her guard down when she blocks Alice wandering back and forth with her hand.
"Digging something, tired half to death all day, it took us half a year to dig here." The miner glanced at the two of them secretly, and after a moment of silence, he continued, "I've been trying everything I can to open this door for the past month. β
Luna walked over to the door and took a closer look, "Why don't you use explosives, then you might make a lot of progress." I teased.
"I don't know what's going on in this hellish place, and after coming in, we found out that all the high-tech of the upper class will inexplicably fail when they come here." "And the stone is harder than steel." β
Luna reached out and touched the smooth stone, and a light stretched down the door, and then the familiar figure appeared in her peripheral vision, and she touched the stone door in front of her like Luna, and after a few moments, she disappeared again.
The door "clicked" inward, and inside was a black wooden coffin, its sides emitting a black light. Luna circled around the coffin, observing its shape, carved with various rune patterns, how did it feel like she had seen them somewhere?
Isn't that the pattern on Hudson's parchment?
Just as Luna looked down and thought, the woman walked up to her, and she pointed to the corner behind me, where there was a book on the ground, and she was stunned, why didn't she just notice?
As Luna was in a trance, the light vanished in front of me along with the book and some objects, and everything was calm again, and the huge stone door stood in front of her again.
Luna frowned, "Well, Mr. Miner, did you find anything about history when you dug this tunnel?" β
"There's a booklet, I picked it up." "They took it without saying anything," he pondered, "but I know about the six ruins on it......"
"Six ruins?" Luna's brow furrowed.
"Don't you know?" He explained, "The so-called ruins are the storage of certain technological crystals that have survived from the last human century, and there are six in total, Cagalli's Lanling King, Wharton's Victoria, Atlante's Napoleon, Sparta's Cronfania, Alexandria's Larfania, and Dracula's Dracula. β
"Is there a record of the exact location of these six ruins?"
"......No," he shook his head, "they're located in a small corner of the Floating Continent, and it's possible that you'll walk down the street and pass by the ruins under your feet." β
"What about the booklet?"
The miner shrugged, "Taken by that ugly captain, he'll take it with him wherever he goes." β
Luna frowned, then pulled a small leather belt out of her pocket and tossed it to the miner, "Go home, find a separate job, remember, be a decent person." β
The miner looked at them gratefully, but soon hesitated, "How I want to do what you say, I never dream of leaving here to be with my family." He swallowed, "But those guys are going to kill me." β
"Alice......" Luna looked at Alice, and the two nodded to each other. Luna turned to look at the ramp she had just crossed, and Luna turned to face the miners and said, "Pack your tools, you don't have to worry about it anymore." Luna clenched Victoria in her hand, pulling out her pistol in her right hand, "We'll take care of some of the guys for you." β
The miner nodded to the two and stood up, and the three walked to the other side.
