Chapter 30: Luna's Dream
"Huh? What is this place? Luna muttered under her breath, looking around closely, and she noticed that I was in a white environment, and Luna noticed that she was naked.
"We meet again, Savior." A female voice as clear as a spring water reached Luna's ears, and it was a very familiar voice that made Luna's brain involuntarily recall, but for some reason, she just couldn't recall anything.
Moments later, Luna discovers that her memories are locked.
Who am I? Where am I? Why am I here? Whenever she recalled, these questions involuntarily appeared in her brain, and then she began to have a headache......
"Who are you!" Luna yelled at the familiar voice, perhaps hoping that it would help her untie the shackles of the memory.
But to no avail, the voice was gone.
"Where is this? Who am I? Luna covered her head and squatted on the ground, "What should I do?" What to do? Why can't I think of anything? She began to sob, sobbing about her incompetence.
Just then, Luna felt a warm sensation hit her, and she stood up, suddenly realizing that she had clothes: a white robe with a hood draped over my body from top to bottom, gloves with metal shells and leather armor on both hands, swords, pistols, and ammunition bags appeared on top of me.
In addition, Luna's left hand has a black wrist armor with a golden wolf totem background, she patted it with her hand, and then involuntarily bent her wrist upwards, and with a "whoosh", an electrified blade ejected from under her wrist armor, and I bent it down slightly, and the blade was retracted again.
Luna reached for the saber at her waist again, drew it, and gently swirled it in her hand, it was a nice sword, it was light, and Luna loved the sound of metal shaking as it cut through the air.
Yes, it's all good equipment! As she praised these weapons that complemented the outside and the inside, the whiteness around her slowly dispersed, and she was greeted by a building shrouded in mist.
Luna walked in, it was a high-rise building in the city, there were more than a dozen floors, Luna walked into the fog, and then walked up the marble path, she found a small room under the high-rise building, there was a large parasol at the door of the house, under the parasol was a small table, Luna looked up at the wooden archway above, only to find that it was a café called "Yishiya".
Through the glass that could be seen through the door, Luna saw that the café was dimly lit and filled with smoke, and that it was very noisy inside, and the darkness and cold air were unusually oppressive.
Luna walked into the atmospheric café, escaping the cold wind whistling outside the door, pushing open the door, then lingering in the door for a moment, trying to shake off the dirt from the soles of her boots, and walked inside. Shortly after entering, a cat approached her and rubbed it against the side of her leg, and Luna leaned down to touch the cat and walked to the side of her seat.
The smell of coffee beans wafted above the damp floor like a cloud of mist. It's rooted in the walls and woodwork, and even the coffee beans emanate from the table in front of the customers, who don't care: some are hunched over their cups, the brim of their hats almost touching the tabletop, and they whisper and gossip to pass the time. There were also groups of people, some of them playing dice, some playing a card game that Luna didn't know, and some of them watching computer anime together, some talking and laughing, very happy. In addition, when they finish a cup of coffee, they will knock the empty glass on the table like a drinker and ask the waiter to refill it.
The only woman in the café would pour coffee for him, smiling as she walked from bar to bar while placing the coffee in front of them, sometimes going out of the bar to deliver food to customers elsewhere.
Luna wears a robe that can almost mop the floor, covering her face with a hood and mask. The noisy tavern suddenly fell silent, as if because of her presence, some lowered the brim of their hats, others stared at me.
Luna made her way through the crowd, the soles of her shoes tapping against the floor, to the bar where the café owner and waitress were. Two regulars stood at the bar, glass in hand, one looking at the floor and the other looking at her with cold eyes.
As she approaches the bar, Luna lifts her hood and flicks her black hair, not pulling down her mask due to the unfamiliar circumstances. For some reason, Luna couldn't see the hostess's face and the manager's face clearly, only the hostess's hands on her hips.
Luna scrutinizes the entire café and makes them realize that it has an upstairs floor, and that Luna is not at all afraid of her surroundings and them. The people around her looked at Luna with wary eyes, they weren't staring at the table, their attention was drawn to the newcomer Luna, some licking their lips, others making small pushing and shoving motions, others snickering, and they whispered conversations, much to Luna's awkwardness.
Luna watched their every move, then turned around and walked towards the bar, where one of the regulars took a few steps to make way for Luna. The other didn't move, he just stood close and deliberately looked me up and down.
"Hello." Luna said to the café owner, "I hope you'll do me a favor." ”
The boss nodded at Luna, and she continued, "I wonder where I am now?" "She spoke so loudly that the whole bar could hear her.
"You're asking that." The potato-nosed regular next to Luna said gruffly. His words drew laughter.
Luna smiled as well, and then threw a punch into his pesky potato nose, causing the man to spun around and fall to the ground, followed by an "oh" sneer from the café.
Every pair of eyes stared at Luna in surprise, including the one who was beaten on the ground, and Luna spread her hands and sneered at him, "Don't be afraid, I don't bite." ”
Luna thought he was going to get up and fight me, but no, he stood up, patted the dust off his body, and left. Other than that, his eyes looked even colder.
"Wait for me, little girl!" He said sarcastically, pointing at me, and headed out the door.
Luna ignored him and turned to continue, "Boss, can you answer my question?" ”
The boss still didn't speak, she beckoned the waitress next to her, and then leaned into her ear and said a few words, and after that, the waitress walked up to Luna, "Miss, please follow me." Luna then walked into the bar and to the cabin on the inside of the bar.
The hostess entered the room, walked to the closet, and after rummaging through it, she stopped, returned to Luna, and handed me a long piece of parchment.
Luna opens the parchment with a string of numbers written on it, and asks confusedly, "What is this?" ”
"The boss said that if you want to know where you are, you have to complete a task."
"Then why are you giving me parchment with numbers?"
"It's something that's necessary after the mission." The hostess explained, "It's someone's ID number, and there's some information on it that you won't know until you've done the task. ”
"What's the mission?"
"Alright, let's get down to business." The hostess said, "Your task is to go to a place and help a person, just make sure that person is not killed." With that, she threw a metal ball on the ground.
There is a muffled "boom" and smoke rises all around, and Luna immediately covers her mouth and tries to stop coughing caused by the smoke, but to no avail.
"The mission starts, you don't have to come back when it's done, just open that thing." The voice was from the hostess, and as soon as she finished speaking, the smoke around Luna cleared, and she found herself in an unknown building, where Luna stepped forward to look and found that she was at the highest point of the building: the roof.
Knowing this, Luna quickly turned around to find the place to go downstairs, there was a small patio in a small clearing behind her, Luna gently opened the manhole cover, and looked down, yes, this is the way downstairs.
Luna slid down the stairs to the ground, and she noticed that there were a lot of people around, and for some reason she felt that these people couldn't see her, maybe they were too eager to go to a meeting somewhere and didn't have time to talk to me.
Luna doesn't care about this, judging by their costumes, the girls are simple black goth suits, and the boys are black banquet dresses that set off them, which makes Luna feel that she is not living in a dream.
That's not the point, these people are the same as the store manager and waitress of the Yishiya just now, their faces are the same as their clothes, except for their hair, of course, their faces are like mosaics, and they can't see clearly.
However, Luna felt that her most important task at this time was not to observe and describe the people around her, but to complete the task as soon as possible to get the answers she wanted, Luna hurriedly got up, cut her hair, and entered the hood along with the top half of her head, and then walked into the crowd.
Who is the person she wants to protect? Luna pondered, and she spotted a few men in military uniforms on the roof of the building next to her, Luna looked up at them, and they quickly lowered down, there was a situation there, and Luna was about to turn away, but she remembered something.
By the way, Luna hurriedly turned around and looked around, the crowd was moving downward, and Luna saw another hallway, a guy in black moving quickly.
Luna hurried towards where he had disappeared, floor by floor, until he reached the first floor, where a bloody scene appeared in front of her: the man in black had killed a man, apparently to be a guard at the school.
Luna quickly ducked up the stairs and looked out slowly, only to see that the man had first broken open the corpse's chest and removed the heart, then cut off the man's arm, lifted him up and threw him into the elevator that was open on the side, raised his gun and fired a shot into the elevator, then walked into the elevator and wandered for a while, and then hurriedly left his slaughterhouse.
Seeing him gone, Luna also ran after him, passing by the elevator I suddenly saw that the head of the corpse in the elevator was gone, she didn't care about this, and hurriedly ran to the other side of the corridor.
Hey? The man is gone? Luna looked around, still unjustified. Forget it, we can only find other evidence.
Luna took a few steps back, ready to leave.
"Ahh A scream almost pierced her eardrums, Luna turned around to see a girl screaming at the elevator, it seemed that the body had been found, Luna hurriedly ran towards the top of the stairs, stopped at the window on the second floor, through the window I saw more and more students at the elevator entrance, and then several guards shouted "get out of the way" and walked into the crowd.
After that, after a while, the students left, and finally only one chief guard, three guards, and two students were left, and after they had a conversation, the two students left.
They run towards Luna's location! This is not good, Luna hurriedly runs up, and they also come up in Luna's direction, and finally Luna hurriedly turns left on the tenth floor and hides in a room before getting rid of them.
At this moment, Luna realizes that she is no longer invisible, she is spotted by one of the guards, no wonder the man is running so fast, Luna moves slowly, and finally climbs upstairs through the water pipe outside the window.
Upon entering the window, Luna hears a conversation between the two of them coming downstairs, two girls, and Luna breathes a sigh of relief as they play a chase race.
"Let's go to the classroom." One of the girls finished speaking, and they left, and Luna's hanging heart was completely relieved. She walked towards the window at the top of the staircase, then watched the two students cross the platform to the classroom.
"Alas, it's finally safe." Just as Luna breathed a sigh of relief, she noticed that the man in black had reappeared, this time with the soldiers he had seen from the top of the building, and after the two girls passed by them, Luna clearly saw the murderer point his finger at them, and the others nodded. It looks like they're planning something.
Luna stares at them closely, and eventually they salute each other and part, and a soldier walks towards Luna's place, which is a good opportunity.
Luna scrambled to the window and stood on the outside railing, stabbing the soldier in the back of the head when he came below her. His body was then dragged to the toilet.
Luna rummaged through his pockets and found nothing but ammo, which was a strange thing, anyway, Luna followed the two students first.
She is amazed to find that one of the two schoolgirls has pink hair, and the other has the same black hair as Luna.
As Luna thought of this, she looked at her palm, and a flurry of memories returned to her brain, as if she had been electrocuted, limp on her limbs, clutching her head and kneeling on the ground.
It hurt so much that she couldn't stand up, but after a while, it was better.
After a moment, Luna calmed down and thought about it, and her memories came back, including the downed gunboat, almost all of them.
Then, the campus radio comes to mind, and for a moment, Luna realizes that this is the place.
It looks familiar, but maybe not the time to think about it all, for Luna, the fun is just beginning.
Luna stood up, straightened her weapon belt, pulled on her mask, and walked out of the bathroom to the eleventh floor.
