Although Abel likes to sneak into hiding, he also enjoys being the center of attention. Abel thinks back to Uncle Krell, who can be called a relative, and what happened not long ago makes his heart ache that has just stopped bleeding.
At this time, Abel saw the witch Eunice who had almost been killed under Serena's dagger appear at the party, and although her face was expressionless, her eyes were full of joy, and she did not know what was to be happy about. Abel wanted to go up and say hello, but she didn't know if she still hated Serena.
Who would have thought that Eunice would come up and say, "Kitten!"
Abel never liked being called that, and replied loudly, "My name is Abel!" and I'm not a kitten. ā
Eunice looked at Abel who looked like a little yellow cat and smiled, "How do I think you are a cat, so no one has ever given you a nickname?"
"They all call me Tiger. Abel bragged.
"Yes, Lord Tiger. Can you tell me where the mage who was with you before went to Klinos?"
"It's over there......" Abel turned his head to see that Klinos, who had just been gagging, didn't know where he was going, and Ebner didn't know when he had come to his side.
"Miss Eunice, I hope you don't come for something unpleasant before. Abner said.
"Of course not, I would like to apologize for my poor hospitality. Your presence has really helped me a lot. Eunice said.
Puzzled, Abner asked, "I don't think we've helped you in any way, but we're still putting your life in danger." ā
"Erudite mage, valiant knight, action-oriented thief, I don't expect anything more perfect to happen. Eunice said, "As you know, there's something wrong with this village. With my own abilities, there was absolutely no chance for the truth to come to light. And you brought the opportunity, and I seized it. ā
The more he listened, the more confused he became, and asked, "I think Miss Eunice could have explained things a little more clearly." ā
"Revolution, my lord. The war on everyone's freedom, and my freedom. Eunice looked at the glimmer of the leaves of the banyan tree and said, "It is a night of change, and the hegemony that dominates here has been completely struck by his unspeakable deeds, and his henchmen and his unfounded power have been swallowed up in a sea of fire. All those who had been used and played with by him were freed, and it was all possible because of your presence......"
On the silver-white canopy, the silver-white moon silently emitted a cold light, shining on the banyan tree and everything in the village under the tree.
In the moonlight, Serena sneaked into the residence of the Imperial Commissioner and Imperial Guard Captain Otis.
Serena climbed through the window with ease, without making any sound. The room is full of luxurious decorations that ordinary people can't afford, armor with gold patterns, silver candlesticks with exquisite workmanship, and even the furniture is as luxurious as the cathedral of the House of God. The countless carvings and cut-outs on the wall furniture are as beautiful, intricate and identical as snowflakes.
She crept into Otis's room, where a few small oil lamps were flickering.
"I would call it a victory or a beautiful revolution, even though it was forged with many tragedies and blood. ā
Serena approached Otis's bedside and saw that the blood from the corners of his mouth had curdled and blackened, just as it had been in his eyes. Serena pulled his eyelids open, and saw that his eyeballs were already bloodshot and purple, and in some places they were horribly black, and he must never have been able to see the light again.
Odys was still breathing deeply, and Serena could feel how close the Spirit of Death was to him. But when he took his life, he stopped his own hands.
"We may have put an end to one atrocity, but we did it in even more despicable ways. ā
Otis suddenly woke up from his dream, and he heard movement in the room of the black hole.
Serena put a dagger against his neck and warned him not to make a sound. But Otis still struggled desperately, unable to make a sound in his throat and still letting out a low growl. There were blood clots and blood coming out of his throat along with his subtle voice, but he didn't know if he didn't care or couldn't feel it, and he didn't mean to stop. Blood stained half of the sheets, along with the furnishings in the room. The priceless paintings were splattered with blood.
Otis kicked and finally summoned the Imperial Guard, who guarded the door.
Serena succinctly finished Otis and confronted the four armoured guards who rushed into the room.
Serena dodged left and right, and the attacks of several people were easily dodged as if they were in slow motion. Serena picked up the oil lamp on the table and smashed it on one of the guards without waste, and he was covered in flames. The other tried to rescue his companion, but Serena put the blood-stained curtain over the man, as well as the fire-ridden guard.
The other two flanked Serena left and right, only to feel something crash into her tin can-like armor. After a loud bang, the smoke nearly suffocated the two of them to death in their armor.
After the chaos, the surviving guards found out. The fire in the room had long since become uncontrollable, and Serena had disappeared from the burning window.
"There will be appalling wars, some above board, some sinister and cunning. But it never stops. If they mean anything, it's to give the victor fleeting joy. "We can't stop that, we just have to make sure we're the one who wins, and then keep winning," said Eunice slowly. ā
Ebner listened to Eunice's words and wanted to refute them, but he couldn't point out the mistakes. The power of all parties rises and falls under the wheel of history, some lose power, some gain power, and all of them are full of bloody wars.
It's on fire!
Someone shouted, and Abel saw a house in the village burning brightly. The house was large, with a well-manicured courtyard, and the flames were slowly engulfing it all.
The people of the village knew that it was the residence of Imperial Commissioner Odis, and they looked into the burning distance, and no one wanted to extinguish it, no one wanted to rescue him. The crowd of people who secretly cheered silently looked at the bright red flowers dancing on it. The fire reflected the sky red, and the houses collapsed with a rumbling sound.
"I guess you won this time, didn't you? Miss Eunice. Abner said.
"yes, this time I won, and I'm ready to win next time. Eunice looked at the distant firelight and said, "Thank you for your help, and I will repay you if I have the opportunity." ā
"What's next?" asked Ebner.
"Go to the imperial capital. Eunice said.
"Looking for more war?"
"Yes, my lord. Eunice said.
