Chapter 655: All-round coverage
Zhoushan is located in the northeast of Zhejiang Province, with a land area of 1440.12 square kilometers and a population of 1.400 million in 2012. The Zhoushan Islands are bounded by the East China Sea to the east, Hangzhou Bay to the west, 3 kilometers from the mainland of Zhejiang Province to the south, and the Yangtze River estuary to the north. Zhoushan is a hilly area of the island, belonging to the subtropical monsoon climate, the average annual temperature is 16 °C, and the rainfall is mostly in June ~ September. Zhoushan culture belongs to Wuyue culture, and Zhoushan people belong to the Jiangsu and Zhejiang people's lineage and use Wu language. Zhoushan is China's largest seafood production, processing and sales base, known as the "East China Sea Fish Warehouse" and "Seafood Capital". Nowadays, it has developed into a strong marine economic city, a famous marine cultural city, a garden city on the sea, an excellent tourist city in China, and a national health city. On June 30, 2011, the State Council approved the establishment of the Zhoushan Archipelago New Area, which became another national-level new area in China and the first national-level new area with the theme of marine economy. Administrative divisions: Zhoushan City has 2 municipal districts (Dinghai District and Putuo District) and 2 counties (Daishan County and Shengsi County). The Zhoushan Municipal Government is located in Lincheng New District, and the Dinghai District Government is located in Dinghai Urban District; The Putuo District Government is located in Shenjiamen Street, a famous fishing port at the eastern end of the island; The Daishan County Government is located in Gaoting Town, Daishan Island; The Shengsi County Government is located in Caiyuan Town, Sijiao Island. The center of Qushan Island is in the island bucket. Geographic environment edits location realms
Qushan Island is located in the Zhoushan Islands of Zhejiang Province. It is located on the southeast coast of China, on the south side of the Yangtze River estuary, and on the surface of the East China Sea on the outer edge of Hangzhou Bay. The geographical location is between east longitude 121°30'~123°25', north latitude 29°32'~31°04', 182 kilometers long from east to west, and 169 kilometers wide from north to south. Backed by Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo and the vast hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, facing the Pacific Ocean, Zhoushan has strong geographical advantages, and is located at the intersection of China's north-south coastal routes and the Yangtze River waterway.
Climatic characteristics
Zhoushan Islands is surrounded by the sea on all sides, belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate, warm in winter and cool in summer, mild and humid.

Plenty of light. The average annual temperature is about 16 °C, and the hottest month is August, with an average temperature of 25.8~28.0 °C; The coldest month is January, with an average temperature of 5.2~5.9°C. The annual precipitation is 927~1620 mm. The annual average sunshine is 1941~2257 hours, the total solar radiation is 4126×10⁶~4598×10⁶joules/square meter, and the frost-free period is 251~303 days, which is suitable for the reproduction and growth of various biological communities, and provides quite favorable conditions for fishery and agricultural production. The natural air purification ability is strong, the temperature difference is small, and it is suitable for the development of high-precision emerging industries. Due to the influence of monsoon instability, it is susceptible to tropical storms (typhoons) in summer and autumn, and it is windy in winter and drought in July and August, which is a common disastrous weather in Zhoushan.
Hydrological characteristics
The hydrological situation of Zhoushan City is complex, and the surface water system is not developed, mostly originating from the hilly hinterland, and meandering into the sea in a radial shape. The water system is affected by the scale of the island, the flow is short, the catchment area is small, and the water level rises and falls sharply due to heavy rainfall, which is easy to cause natural disasters such as flash floods. The coastal tide is an irregular semi-diurnal tide, characterized by the reflow of the tide in the past, the rising tide to the west, the falling tide to the east, and the speed of the rising tide is greater than the speed of the falling tide. The tidal effects of seawater and typhoon waves have a greater impact on the island's coast, especially in the intertidal zone.
Topography
Zhoushan territory is mountainous, the hills are widely distributed, it is the island hilly area, it is the remaining vein of the Tiantai Mountain Range and the outcropping part of the northeast extension into the sea, the island topography is undulating, the central ridge or watershed, the altitude is generally between 200~300 meters, and there are small plains distributed between the mountains and the seaside. The coastline is meandering, with a predominantly bedrock and muddy coast with a small amount of sandy coast. The types of landforms can be sedimentary, alluvial plain area (including accumulation coastal landform), foothill valley plain area, erosion denudation low hill area (including erosion coastal landform), erosion denudation high hill area.
Geological features
Zhoushan belongs to the Zhoushan community of the southeast coastal subdivision of the South China stratigraphic area, and the outcropping strata mainly include the Upper Jurassic and the Quaternary. The Upper Jurassic is dominated by medium-acid and acidic volcaniclastic rocks, with a small amount of acidic lava and volcanic sedimentary rocks, and belongs to the calc-alkaline series or weakly alkaline rock series. Quaternary loose sediments are distributed in the sedimentary and alluvial plains and foothill valleys, and the thickness varies greatly. Zhoushan is located in the northeast of the Lishui-Ningbo uplift of the Xinchang-Dinghai fault uplift in the southeast Zhejiang fold belt of the South China Fold System, and is also the northern section of the Yanshan volcanic activity zone along the coast of Zhejiang and Fujian. In the long-term crustal movement, they gradually develop, and together with the north-west, north-north-west and north-south faults, they form a criss-cross basic fault grid, and have a controlling effect on the formation and development of volcanic institutions and sedimentary basins in the mapping area, and the change of topography and landform. Zhoushan Sea-crossing Bridge (15 photos)
Beginning in the 90s of the last century, Zhoushan began to plan the mainland and island project. A total of more than 20 sea-crossing bridges have been built in Zhoushan, which span the islands and become the lifeline of the island's economy. On September 26, 1999, the first bridge of Zhoushan Sea-crossing Bridge Cengang Bridge officially started, after which Xiangjiaomen Bridge, Taoyaomen Bridge, Xihuomen Bridge and Jintang Bridge were completed one after another, Zhoushan Sea-crossing Bridge was opened to traffic in 2009, and the first and second phases of the mainland island project were successfully completed. In addition, the Donghai Bridge was officially opened in 2005, opening up the passage from Zhoushan Shengsi County to Shanghai, and the Liuheng Sea-crossing Bridge and Daishan Sea-crossing Bridge are under planning and construction in the early stage. Zhoushan's sea-crossing bridges mainly include: Cengang Bridge, Xiangjiaomen Bridge, Taoyaomen Bridge, Xihuomen Bridge, Jintang Bridge, Donghai Bridge, Zhujiajian Bridge, Xincheng Bridge, Aoshan Bridge, Changzhi Bridge, Lujiazhi Bridge, Shanwai Scenic Bay Road and Bridge, Jiangnan Bridge, Gaotingjiang Bridge, Changzhi Bridge, Majishan Bridge, Luhua Bridge, Jinqing Bridge, Sanjiaojiang Bridge, etc., as well as the six cross-sea bridges, Daishan Sea-crossing Bridge, and Qushan Sea-crossing Bridge in planning and construction. The Zhoushan Bridge is the world's largest bridge group and China's largest island-land connection project. After the completion of the whole sea-crossing bridge, the driving distance between Zhoushan and Ningbo and Hangzhou will be greatly shortened, coupled with the Hangzhou Bay Bridge that has been completed, the driving time of Zhoushan to Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo will be shortened to 1 hour, 2 hours and 3 hours respectively, which will make Zhoushan more closely integrated into the Yangtze River Delta economic circle. The six-cross sea-crossing bridge starts from the southwest side of Liuheng Island in Putuo District, connects the southern line of the planned Liuheng Ring Island Highway, crosses Shuangyumen, Qinglongmen, Tingzimen and other waterways and Meishan Island, and finally closes near Jiaxi Village, Daqi Shugang Highway, Ningbo City, with a total length of about 38 kilometers. Among them, there are 3 cross-sea bridges and 4 interchanges. The main line is constructed as a two-way four-lane expressway, with a design speed of 100 km/h and a roadbed width of 26 meters, with an estimated total investment of about 12.285 billion. Daishan Sea-crossing BridgeDaishan Sea-crossing Bridge - Zhoushan Mainland Island Phase III Project. The main line of the Daishan Bridge is about 21.5km long, of which the total length of the sea-crossing bridge is 17.4km, and it is about 5km away from the starting point, connecting the 4.1km Changbai Island branch line. The Daishan Bridge is determined to be the eastern route, connecting Xiushan as an important part of the northbound passage of Zhoushan. Qushan Sea-crossing BridgeQushan Sea-crossing Bridge is a long-term project of the Zhoushan Sea-crossing Project. The planned Qushan Bridge is connected to Daishan in the south and Shanghai Xiaoyangshan Port in the north, and is an important part of the northbound passage of Zhoushan. In the future, it will become an important part of the sea-crossing bridge connecting Zhoushan with Shanghai, and it is also a key link.
Land transportation
By the end of 2008, the total length of highways in Zhoushan was about 1,615 kilometers, of which 314 kilometers were above the second level of highways. The number of Zhoushan bus passenger stations has grown to 324, including 1 first-class station, 4 second-level stations, 1 third-level station, 10 fourth-level stations, 1 fifth-level station, 16 simple stations and 291 harbor-style stops. In 2008, there were 240 passenger lines in Zhoushan, with 9,810 daily departures, an increase of 39 and 3,577 flights respectively compared with 2005. Among them, there are 32 inter-provincial lines and 39 daily departures; There are 53 cross-city lines, with 143 daily departures.
Water transportation
By the end of 2008, there were 102 maritime passenger ferry routes, including 15 ro-ro passenger routes and 29 high-speed passenger routes. Compared with the end of 2005, 4 new ro-ro passenger routes and 3 high-speed passenger routes have been added. The 10 major economic islands of Zhoushan have opened ro-ro passenger transport routes, and 12 major economic islands have opened high-speed passenger ship routes. The city's main inter-island water passenger routes have achieved a 2-hour traffic circle (2 hours from Dinghai to Shengsi).
