Chapter 65: Silky 10
As I walked, I saw the staggered lights again, and they all reached out to a red brick bungalow in front of me, which was only 20 square meters in appearance, and looked like a barn, and someone had spray-painted the old wooden door with red paint and the walls on both sides, which were messy, like children's graffiti.
The most striking thing about the bungalow is a large golden plaque on the top of the house, which is branded with the English word 'SOUL', which is not decorated with colorful lights like other signboards, it is very neat, just like the card in my hand.
That's 'SOUL', it's nothing like any lounge or bar I've ever seen, at least from the outside. It didn't even have a window except for a wall and an old door.
But it's such a place that attracts a steady stream of guests.
From time to time, the door was pushed open by a visitor, and a soft light spilled out of the room.
And the guests, they, like some of the people I saw outside the alley, were penetrated by a thin light.
This is where I will eventually explore, and my intuition pushes me forward.
I only took a few steps before I was pulled by Lao Yang.
"Young lady, it's better not to go in!" Lao Yang persuaded.
"Drink a glass of juice and go!" This was the second time that Lao Yang had dissuaded him, and I had a faint feeling that he seemed to know something, or that everything here was unsettling, and even that there was some kind of danger lurking.
However, I still did not hesitate, as if there was something very important or someone very important waiting for me in that room.
It is said that curiosity kills cats, and if you don't do it, you won't die.
But there are not many people who can abide by such a law, there is always a force behind you that pushes you forward.
And that's how I am at this point.
Another person entered SOUL before me, and I didn't even have to push the door to follow in.
The inside of the house is much bigger than it looks from the outside, no, much bigger. It is spacious and luxurious, and it is a clean bar.
There were a lot of guests, about fifty of them, who were either sitting at the table enjoying afternoon tea, or sitting in the corner and at the bar drinking stuffy wine, and there were almost no people walking together, they were all alone, except for me and Lao Yang.
Regardless of the direction or position of the men, the light extending from them converged behind the bar to form a circle of light, and a beautiful woman stood in that circle.
The woman was dressed fashionably, with jet-black hair and a hairpin made of red coral beads.
The woman wears delicate fruit red, wipes bright red lips, and her charming eyes are very sultry.
She stood at the bar, bartending a drink to one of the guests, and smiled charmingly, not knowing what she was talking to.
As if sensing that I was looking at her, the woman raised her gaze and bent her eyes at me.
Out of politeness, I smiled back.
Looking at the woman's dress, it is not the same level as the two bartenders next to her, it is estimated that she is in charge here, but it is just to see how many guests take a hand.
And what intrigued me was that she was the end, or the beginning, of those rays.
I walked over and sat down in a high chair in front of her.
"Welcome to SOUL!" The woman spoke, her voice sweet. "Have a drink?"
She shook the bottle in her hand, then placed a glass of mixed wine in front of a middle-aged man next to her.
"I don't drink!" I say.
"It's okay, it's not just about selling alcohol." The woman always had a smile on her face, just like the man who handed out cards at the entrance of the alley. "A glass of juice?"
"Good!" I nodded. "Is there watermelon juice?"
"Of course. So, what does such a handsome guy need? The woman asked Lao Yang, who was with me.
"Watermelon juice." Lao Yang's tone was extremely light, not as cordial and warm as he was with me, and the way he looked at women was not very friendly, more precisely, vigilant.
Could it be that Lao Yang also saw those lights like me?
