Chapter 39: Marriage 11

I've never really understood what the third woman does.

The strange phenomena recorded in the notes are far beyond the imagination of ordinary people, even for people like me who have seen ghosts since childhood.

About the demons of hell and the ghosts that wander the world, there are several pages of dense records.

I flipped through it, lost in darkness and terror, and lost track of time.

Before I knew it, it was dawn, and I yawned with sleepiness, and I finally closed my notebook, which I had read less than a third of the way, and lay down.

Nightmares ensued and tormented me.

Running wild in a world full of demons and monsters, I finally escaped into a room.

There was blood everywhere, and there were three unrecognizable female corpses lying in front of my eyes, and I was back on the night of the crime, so real, as if I had traveled through time and space.

The female ghost stood in the corner and smiled at me with a wicked purpose, and the police rushed in, pointing their guns at me.

As I was being suppressed and handcuffed, there were onlookers in the hallway, they were terrified, and I vaguely caught a glimpse of half a familiar face, and the eyes of the man hiding in the crowd were as black as night and shimmered with a cold light.

My instincts told me that the man was behind it, and I struggled to see the man's face, only to be pinned down in a pool of blood by a pair of powerful hands. Then I fell into a red world, a cold ocean of despair, which quickly engulfed me, and I gradually lost my breath.

I opened my mouth wide in sadness, drowning in general.

A pair of long arms came from behind and turned me towards him.

In the blurred red, I saw Si Yufan's face.

He kissed me, and gradually I breathed in oxygen, and my weak heartbeat grew stronger.

He took me by the arm and led me upwards through the red ocean-

I suddenly opened my eyes and woke up from my nightmare.

Just like in a dream, Si Yufan was right in front of me, his arms around me, our lips were very close, his slight breathing sprayed on my face, and I felt a trace of warmth after the cold.

I took a breath and curled my trembling body into his arms, still in a trance.

"It's all right, it's all right!" Si Yufan hugged me a little tighter and comforted me gently in my ear.

I groaned with palpitations, tugging at the hem of his shirt as if I were grasping at a life-saving straw, and buried my face in his arms.

His heartbeat was strong and powerful, in stark contrast to the death and terror of the dream.

Listening to his heartbeat, I felt like I was still alive.

"It's hard to sleep, it's not good." Si Yufan muttered softly and kissed my forehead dripping with cold sweat.

It took me nearly half an hour to recover.

Si Yufan has been holding me, and his company has made me no longer alone.

I left his embrace, sat up on the bed, and touched my cold forehead.

The scorching sunlight poured from the window to the end of the bed, and I moved around and sat in the sunlight, the brightness and warmth that reassured me.

Si Yufan sat up and pulled the hair that fell on my face behind his ears, his eyes full of distress.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"It's noon."

It's already so late.

"I'll take a shower, and I'll go to Mr. Mu's company to have a look later." I got up barefoot, stood up as I spoke, and if I wanted to be top-heavy, a dangling person would fall backwards.

Si Yufan quickly caught me and wrapped me back into his arms.
