Chapter 26: Just be happy
"Wife ......"
I hurriedly pressed my fingers on his mouth: "Name, thank you!" ”
He bared his neat white teeth and was about to bite my fingers, causing me to retract my hand.
"It's good if you're happy." He smiled and changed his words, but he was still very affectionate. "Yue, the front is Dongcheng District, can you get there?"
I nodded.
The manor is located in the eastern suburbs of the city, at the junction of the two cities, a large area of undeveloped land, the last pure land on the edge of the bustling city, and it is said that it is an old forest that has been deliberately protected.
Now I know that the so-called pure land is all made of money, and Si Yufan is just richer than those real estate developers.
I picked up something at the store in East Side and went to the pet store.
"Want to buy a dog?" Si Yufan squatted in front of a cage with me, and there was a black pastoral dog locked up in it, which used to be a gatekeeper in the countryside, and I don't know when they began to be favored by people in the city and became darlings.
The black dog was very well-behaved, looking at me with black slippery eyes and a fluffy tail wagging flatteringly.
"Well, this is also recorded in the account, and I will pay you back when I have money in the future." I've been cornered, and I can't find anyone willing to lend a helping hand to me except Si Yufan.
"It's so cute, you can't bear to hurt it?" Si Yufan looked at the black dog sympathetically.
"Don't you disbelieve me?" Thinking about what he had written in his assessment report, I glanced at him coldly.
"Believe, why don't you believe it?" He justified his actions. "If you don't write like that, how can you be forced to run away, if you don't run away, I won't be able to get you out logically?"
"So, that female ghost was also arranged by you?" I asked.
He glanced at me and denied, "What female ghost?" I just bought the nurses. ”
I let out a soft oh and beckoned to the clerk, "I want this dog." ”
On the way back to the manor, I asked David to stop, and ran across the road, through a field to a farmer's house, and in front of the yard was an old peach tree with unripe peaches on it.
"Auntie, give me a few peach branches?" I grinned at a peasant woman who was sitting in front of the door picking vegetables.
"Pick it, and take it with the fruit." The aunt is very generous.
I picked a few peach branches that didn't grow and thanked my aunt and went back to the car.
David in front couldn't help but look back at me holding a peach branch in his hand, looking confused.
Si Yufan was not surprised, snapped his fingers at David, and urged him to drive.
It was lunch time when I got back to the manor, and after dinner, I ran to a guest room on the second floor with a bunch of things, and locked myself in the room to get busy.
After an hour of busyness, I finally got ready and went out.
At the other end of the hallway, a slender figure turned into a door, carrying a white-washed canvas bag.
When I saw the canvas bag, I was pleasantly surprised and hurried over.
"It's dangerous, and it takes a bit of effort." The door wasn't fully closed, half-hidden, and Molly's voice came out.
I peeked through the gap in the door, and it was the study.
Molly stood with her back to me, Si Yufan sat on the other side of the desk, and the canvas bag rested on the table.
Si Yufan's slender two fingers grabbed it, lifted the lid of the bag, and then glanced inside, without touching the contents of the bag.
"Hey, it's really surprising that there is this." Si Yufan's gaze fell on something in the bag, and his eyes lit up.
I know best what's in the bag, but I'm not sure what caught their special attention.
