Text: Testimonials on December 11

"The Walking Dead Carrion" is finally going to be on the shelves, and after hearing the news from the editor in charge, Beard Dada, my heart is not only happy, but also has some emotion. Since the first day of the book on the Zongheng Chinese website, it has gone through four months, four months of sweat, and more than 500,000 words. Sometimes it's already past nine o'clock when I get home from work, sit down and code a chapter, and then write and check it, and then look at the time, it's already one o'clock in the morning. I write very slowly, and I have to go back and recheck each chapter before sending it out, and revise the things that I am not satisfied with, so the progress has only been maintained at a daily rhythm. At that time, my friends asked me, are you so tired? I told them, tired, but tired and happy.

My first book chose the genre of post-apocalyptic zombies, and I read a lot of novels about this genre before I wrote The Walking Dead, but most of them were fantasy stories and other paranormal stories. Before I opened this book, I thought, should I write a different, just ordinary people's survival story in the last days, so I started to do it, and then I wrote it out of control.

I know that post-apocalyptic fiction characters will be difficult to write without features like superpowers and evolution, but I still don't plan to follow the crowd, as I said earlier, I want to write a different kind of book - realistic apocalyptic novels. I want to write a little bit of humanity in it, and write a story about ordinary people surviving in disasters.

Every day I go to my own book review area, although there are few comments from readers, but every day I will read and reply carefully. I remember a reader saying, "Why don't you write something special for the main character," and I told him what I thought. Some readers also said that after watching it before, it felt like there were a lot of characters, a little messy, and I didn't know who the protagonist was. In response to this problem, I would like to explain here that when writing "The Walking Dead", I used POV - "Viewpoint Character Writing Technique", and in order to be realistic, I need to show the zombie-infested world from the perspective of different characters. The plot in "The Walking Dead and Rotten Flesh" is different from the traditional routine of fighting monsters and upgrading, it may have less plot of pretending to be forced to slap the face, but it will be more realistic. There are multiple plot lines in the story, and each plot line will have a corresponding main character, and these characters will intersect through the development of the story. The entire framework of the book is made up of these different plot lines and characters, and the story will be full with them.

After so much verbosity in the front, the next step is also the thank-you part in the testimonial. First of all, of course, I would like to thank Zongheng Chinese.com, thank you for choosing me and providing me with such a platform to show my work. In addition, I would also like to thank my editor-in-charge Hu Zida, from contacting me to signing a contract to contacting me to put it on the shelf, Hu Da has always spared no effort to support me, and guided me to pay attention to the details and skills in writing, and Hu Da also recommended a lot of similar good articles for me to refer to and learn, which has benefited me a lot.
