1. Cause of the case: Liu Yuanlin found an unknown corpse

2. Pathological examination:

(1) Examination of the autopsy:

A male corpse, 172cm long, with no abnormal development and good nutrition. The mortis has been relieved, the fracture of the spinous process of the cervical vertebrae, there is a groove in the neck, the groove is horizontal, uniform and surrounding, there is no "elevation" phenomenon, and it is light brown leathery, and there may be obvious congestion and focal bleeding in the thyroid gland, laryngeal mucosa, pharyngeal mucosa, tonsils and the base of the tongue. Fractures of the thyroid cartilage plate and cricoid cartilage and the upper horn of the thyroid cartilage are often fractured, accompanied by hemorrhage, epidermal peeling of the scapula and subcutaneous and muscular hemorrhage, bright purple corpse spots on the neck, and the rest of the skin is pale and not yellowish. The hair is black and the scalp is intact. Hemorrhage of the conjunctiva of the eye, protrusion of the eyeball and tip of the tongue. The face is bruised and swollen, the skin is bleeding spots, the external auditory canal and nosebleeds, and there is a fracture of the greater horn of the hyoid bone. Nails show signs of detachment and bruising.

(2) Internal inspection:

1. Body cavity: no abnormality

2. Skin: The thickness of the subcutaneous fat layer of the abdominal wall is 3cm

3. Skull and central nervous system: no abnormality

4. Neck: there is a groove and subcutaneous bleeding

5. Cardiovascular system: no other abnormalities

6. Respiratory system: trachea rupture

7. Liver, spleen and biliary system: no abnormality

8. Digestive system: no abnormality

9. Urethral reproductive system: no abnormality

(3) Histological examination:

Nothing unusual

(4) Autopsy pathological diagnosis:

1. Death

2. There is no abnormality in other aspects

3. Conclusion:

The cause of death was intracranial hypoxia caused by external force strangulation of the neck, resulting in brain death. Cause of death: strangulation with hemp rope. Date of death: April 29, 2015 to April 30, 2015
