40. Isolated Island Prison
Like a steel bird, the black transport plane slowly lowered its altitude, passed through the heavy clouds of lightning and thunder, and stayed above the raging waves, and the blazing white light loomed under the roaring and roaring sea, like a giant beast setting off a turbulent whirlpool large and small.
"Isolated Island Prison Control Center, allowing landing." The pilot who flew the transport plane, presented the electronic pass of the S.H.I.E.L.D. commander.
A group of three people wearing electromagnetic shackles on their hands and feet, Captain America, the Winter Soldier, and the Falcon couldn't help but look down through the side portholes.
This secret prison in the North Atlantic, which is said to be dedicated to superpowered criminals, is heavily guarded and has almost no possibility of escape.
It is called an "island" because it is two thousand meters below sea level, a depth at which the steel body is squeezed by the huge water pressure, unless it is a submersible specifically used for deep-sea exploration.
This deep-sea prison looks like an island in the middle of the ocean when it rises, hence its name.
The raging waves roared, the blazing white light pierced the water, and a huge black "giant island" slowly rose, like a metal island rising from the ground, exuding a solid and heavy cold atmosphere. Driven by a powerful nuclear-powered engine, the island prison tore through the turbulent whirlpool and floated steadily on the empty sea.
In the midst of the raging storm, the transport plane staggered and landed on the tarmac, and after a brief sink, entered the inner space of the prison.
The three convicts who are restricted in movement will be escorted by lightly armored soldiers, changed into blue prison uniforms, and sent to isolation cells, where they will be serving a long sentence with no end in sight.
"Hi Captain Rogers, I didn't expect to meet again, in this form." Sean, who was in a suit and leather shoes, saw Captain America and took the initiative to say hello.
He is the supreme leader of the prison, and Ambrera is responsible for all kinds of access, the care of prisoners, and the maintenance and renewal of equipment.
Previously, the two met at the Stark Industries fair, and Captain America at that time had not long awakened, and he was still quite unfamiliar with the era he was in, so he happened to meet Sean and had a brief conversation.
"The world is impermanent, isn't it."
Steve laughed at himself, who would have thought that he would be regarded as a war hero and one day become a criminal of the government.
"It's okay, just treat this place as if it were your home." Tony, who had removed his steel armor, scoffed. "The people in prison are all talented, and they speak well, maybe you'll like it."
His eyes were fixed on the Winter Soldier beside him, and the flames of anger almost condensed into substance, as if they were about to turn into sharp swords that pierced his body, and dismantled this inhuman, cold-blooded killer into pieces.
"You are still alive and owe a debt of gratitude to the spirit of humanitarianism and international law." Stark said hatefully.
Sean next to him shrugged his shoulders and asked the soldiers to take the group of three down, he didn't dare to guarantee that the enraged Iron Man would continue to do some irrational violence.
The existence of this prison is mainly to hold and control those powerful criminals who abuse superpowers, and the overall building is divided into four areas, dedicated to the first area for the imprison of mutants, equipped with a bioenergy suppression field, and wearing electric shock collars.
Sector 2 is dominated by superpowered criminals, with gravity shackles on their feet and suppressants injected into the spine of higher-level dangerous people.
Area Three is a high-ranking criminal similar to Captain America, which is on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s wanted list; As for the more secluded Area 4, it is for alien creatures that may exist in the future.
"It's an interesting prison." Tony casually glanced at it and complimented him rarely.
Even if he is imprisoned here and reduced to a prisoner, the possibility of escaping is extremely low. The security system, electronic alarm equipment, and emergency measures of the isolated prison are so perfect that there are hardly any loopholes.
Within a half-mile radius outside the prison, a jellyfish with a deadly neurotoxin has been released, and when viewed from the thick glass curtain wall, the jellyfish emitted brilliant fluorescence, like colorful lights floating in the dark and cold underwater world, which is particularly magnificent.
However, Tony knew that this seemingly beautiful group of jellyfish was actually full of deadly danger, and even large sea beasts such as squid, octopus, and sperm whales did not dare to approach easily, and once they were attacked by neurotoxins, they would soon become a sumptuous meal in the mouths of other predators.
"What are you going to do with Barnes?" Tony asked.
"A fair trial...... You should understand that at this juncture in the implementation of the registration bill, we need to pay more attention to detail than usual. ”
Sean soothed Stark's emotions, and all the other party wanted was a reasonable punishment, which was not difficult to do.
Iron Man, who had just finished watching the tape, might be eager to kill the Winter Soldier to vent his anger, but after this period of calm, he still has a grudge in his heart, not to the point of killing Bucky, or torturing him in every way to vent his hatred.
In the end, what Annoyed Tony was probably more annoyed by Captain Rodgers' attitude, which made him feel a kind of betrayal.
Stark, who experienced the Obadi-Stan incident, hated this kind of déjà vu experience extremely much, after all, with his character, it is not easy to trust someone.
"Where's Steve?" Tony asked hesitantly.
"It's hard to predict the outcome, because Captain Rogers is a war hero of the last century, a propaganda example set by the government, but his blatant refusal to implement the registration bill makes it difficult for the White House and the Department of Defense to do so."
Sean looked helpless, but secretly quite satisfied, Captain America's own strength is not strong, and his own personality charm and leadership prestige are the most headaches.
In the original timeline, after Steve Rogers and Tony Stark parted ways, the Avengers collapsed, and a large number of people did not hesitate to risk becoming wanted criminals, followed Captain America against the Iron Man camp, and then went into hiding, preferring to be hunted down rather than accept the implementation of the registration law.
It can be seen that Captain America is a flag in itself, and if left unchecked, it may become a time bomb in the future.
A stubborn opponent with a firm stance and conviction is undoubtedly a headache.
Rather than being ruthless and causing a bigger mess at that time, it is better to clear this hidden danger as soon as possible. After all, the establishment of a new world requires a solid order.
"Captain Rogers is safe here, and if he decides to accept the registration bill, we will immediately release him and acquit him."
Sean patted Tony's shoulder and said kindly.
