Chapter Forty-Eight: Dreams

Exhausted, Ed fell prostrate on the ground, wept bitterly for a long time, and finally fainted.

In a daze, he trance-led through a rotating "channel" in front of him, filled with a channel composed of various strange colors of light, and Ed gradually "woke up".

The sadness in his heart was still gnawing at his heart, and it was a faint pain. Ed, however, found himself in a cradle, and this cradle appeared in his vague memories many times.

But this time, unlike before, the dream was crystal clear, as if it were happening right in front of you.

The cradle is placed in the middle of a cozy, elegant and welcoming room.

The light in the room was soft, and an indescribable, gentle music was rippling in the ears, surrounded by very simple and unknown facilities. The whole room was spotlessly clean and all the elements worked together to create a harmonious and perfect harmony that made people feel peaceful and calm.

One of the walls, if I could call it, has a large sign, resembling the Roman numeral "I". On the opposite wall, there is an ornament that appears to be an oil painting, and the incomparably erudite Ed is unfamiliar with it.

A beautiful woman is in the center of the picture, flying in the dark and blood-red sky. The sky seems to be ruthlessly torn apart, and countless boulders and fragments pour down from a crack in the sky, and a woman is holding a multicolored gem in her hand, and she is heading up. Staring at this frozen frame, Ed's heart fluttered for a moment.

The texture of the pink blanket covering himself was so clear that a brown bear sewn on it was looking at him with a smile in front of his eyes.

He could even clearly smell the texture of the blanket itself, the unique fragrance of the sun-soaked body.

The cradle that surrounds you is made of rattan weaving, which is a very delicate handicraft, and the tendons on the four sides of the cradle are clearly intertwined with each other in an orderly manner.

He could even make out the broken rattan on the top of his right foot, the broken part of which had been carefully wrapped in strips of cloth, apparently fearing that the protruding rattan would cling to himself in the cradle.

And on his left hand, there is a plush toy kitten. The toy kitten is so clear that You Ke can see his own shadow in the kitten's large, shiny, glassy eyes. And this shadow is obviously a baby in swaddling clothes!

Is this your own childhood?

But I don't know what year it is and where I am?

"Maybe I'll be able to meet them!"

The thought of meeting his biological parents made Ed's heart start to get excited.

In the blink of an eye, there were faint footsteps and conversations in the distance,
