Petals sandwiched between the pages of a book
----- the things I can keep, I hope they will stay with me forever, even if not in my moment.
In the pencil case, there is still a stack of bookmarks given to me by my former tablemates on a whim, each one is small and fresh, gentle and cute, but it is simply a world of difference from her image.
The reason why it's just in the pencil case is that I like to use the bookmarks I made, and I don't dare to make the word "made", which is a random deliberate.
One day, a friend asked me to borrow a magazine, and when I returned it, I couldn't see the book but the rose petals. I also found out later, and when I inadvertently asked, she smiled and told me that the petals had been broken, and when I wanted to clip a fresh petal myself, it became like this.
I took the petals that were already moldy, and the musty smell on them, and the cyan color on the pages of the book, not to mention the faint floral fragrance, and the beauty, were completely frightened.
Because if it weren't for her serious appearance, you wouldn't have thought that it was a petal in your hand, and you thought it would be...... Burnt paper.
I smiled wryly, not knowing how to answer her, and shrugged my shoulders to show my helplessness.
I thought to myself, finally knowing why she was always said to be poisonous?
……
If you like leaves, I can tell you generously that a large piece of leaves is cut out of your favorite pattern with scissors when there is enough water, and it is casually sandwiched into the pages of the book, and its appearance is what you want, and then carefully write the text. But if you're poisonous, I'll laugh.
Maple leaves, sycamore leaves, camphor leaves, willow leaves, pomegranate leaves, mulberry leaves...... Roses, moonflowers, orange blossoms, orchids, carnations...... There is nothing I dislike, only what I dislike.
If insects can be flattened, I'll make a bookmark.
It's like accidentally spotting wasps, oversized mosquitoes, and dragonflies with blue wings that have been dead for days on the balcony.
I once collected a box, and then I threw it away, without my knowledge, and was extremely disgusted by my mother, and afterwards, after being asked aggressively by my high-profile question, I felt hurt.
However, compared to insects, when reading a book and turning the pages of a book, the fallen leaves and petals are very beautiful, if it is an insect...... Maybe there will be a little scare~
It's just that more and more people who read paper books have moved to the Internet, although it is convenient, but, for me, that feeling is something that mobile phones and computers can never give you. Suppose you are under a tree, no matter what it is, with your back against you, if you have a book in your hand, the wind can help you turn the pages, and when your eyes are tired, you can rest on your face for a while, as if it were a painting. If so, is that okay? You don't have that much heart to sleep unless you don't have to worry about being stolen at all.
The smell can be left in the pages, and each page you have left a different taste that you like, which brings a touch to the text and content.
Even if they leave a mark, they feel beautiful, as if to tell you that they have been to the one hundred and third page.
Just like you, you have also left your own footprints in it, more or less, deep or shallow, and the meaning of it is enough as long as we know it.
Every time you look at it, it's a new feeling, if you don't believe it, try it yourself.
