In the current environment of studying Buddhism and practice, "supernatural powers" are both unique and taboo. Many senior brothers who enter and leave Buddhism will be attracted by some senior brothers or foreign supernatural powers, and some senior brothers who have a foundation in practice but do not have supernatural powers are often very repulsive out of envy, jealousy, and hatred, and even directly slander, then:
1. Are there really supernatural powers?
2. Can supernatural powers be displayed at will?
3. When will the supernatural powers be revealed?
The Buddha in the Great Nirvana Sutra let us take the Dharma as a teacher, to the precepts as a teacher, then we should go deep into the scriptures, understand the ability to restore the Buddha and his disciples, in the Tripitaka Sutra, add a Ahama Sutra (Eastern Jin Dynasty Zongbin Sanzang Qu Tan Sangha Deva translation) Volume 14, Volume 15 records the Buddha's initial propagation process after enlightenment, the entire Ahama scriptures are very simple, very down-to-earth. Precise time of Buddhahood: Is this time a little more precise? About the specific time of the Buddha's birth, from Theravada Buddhism to Tibetan Buddhism and Buddhist historians of the past dynasties have more than a dozen theories, Dajue Senior Brother believes that the Buddha became a Buddha on the full moon day of April 15 of the lunar calendar in 530 BC, at the age of 35.
The exact place of Buddhahood: The place where the Buddha attained enlightenment was in Bodh Gaya, a settlement in the southern part of the city of Gaya, Magadha, ancient India. Bodh-Gaya, which is seven kilometers away from the southern suburbs of Gaya, Bihar, India, was owned by Brahmans in the Middle Ages, and was distinguished from the city of Gaya, the holy place of Buddha's enlightenment was called Buddha Gaya, also called Bodh Gaya, after the Buddha left the palace at the age of 29 and became a monk, after six years of asceticism, he traveled here, sat on the vajra seat under the Birbora tree, realized the twelve karmas, the Four Noble Truths, etc., and attained enlightenment. The country of Magadha is the country of Magadha, and the capital is the Buddha's main Dharma preaching dojo Wangsha City, and the Nalanda Temple where Master Xuanzang studied and learned scriptures is located in Wangsha City, and Nalanda of Wangsha City is also the birthplace and nirvana of the Buddha's first disciple of wisdom Sariputta (Sariputta is the relics in the Heart Sutra), and Nalanda (Nalanda), in ancient Sanskrit, "nalam" means lotus, "da" means to give, therefore, Nalanda means "to give lotus". So, these coincidences are completely just the right intentional arrangement, drunk + kneeling!!
Key characters: Basil Garan, Yutou Lanfu
After the Buddha became a Buddha, he felt that the Dharma he had realized could not be understood by ordinary people at all, so he thought of Basil Kalanlai and Yutou Lanfu, and felt that these two people could understand their own wonderful law, because these two people were not mortals, they were immortals. Basil Kalan, a foreign teacher, had made an agreement with the Buddha that he would come to save him if he had the Dharma, but when the World-Honored One became a Buddha, he had died seven days ago (the plot of the good heart plug!). )。 The World-Honored One then wanted to spend the Yutou Lanfu, because the Yutou Lanfu Immortal had attained the highest meditation on the world's outer paths—non-thinking, non-thinking; So just teach him the true principles of the path to liberation, and he will soon become a liberated arhat. But unfortunately, Yu Tou Lanfu had already died the night before, and he had gone to the colorless realm to think about it!
The Buddha taught: If the outer path attains the non-thinking and non-contemplation of the four emptiness, and after giving up his life, he will be born with a life span of 80,000 eons, but if he cannot attain liberation, that is, if he does not even have the merit of breaking the self-seeing, then we should observe that this person is the one who will eventually go to hell. And if a sentient being, even though he has suffered immeasurably in the Infernal Hells, has the liberation division of self-seeing, etc., then we have to look at this person as a nirvana person who must be liberated.
It is for this reason that the Buddha felt sorrow for his last teacher in the outer path before becoming a Buddha, the depressed head of the Blue Buddha. Because when the Buddha became a Buddha in the world, the second person who wanted to be a Buddha was him, and this teacher taught Prince Siddhartha to attain the highest level of the Three Realms before becoming a monk, but after the Buddha became a Buddha, he found that this person had passed away to the point of non-thinking; The Buddha also observed where he went after he had gone down after he had enjoyed all his heavenly blessings, and found that he was going to go to hell. Because he killed many sentient beings in the process of cultivating non-determination, and those sentient beings were disturbing his cultivation, so he got angry and killed many sentient beings. It is precisely because of these negative karma that he is about to go to hell after the blessings of heaven are exhausted, so the Buddha has a sad heart for the depressed head Blue Buddha.
And after receiving retribution in the Hell Path in the future, Yu Tou Lanfu will have to go through the side path to become a beaver. Because in the past, in the process of cultivation, he was disturbed by the sound of birds in the woods and the jumping of fish in the water, and at that time he made a bad wish in his heart: to kill them all, so when he has enjoyed all the blessings, he will fall into the hell path and the animal path, which is really very miserable! So "The Buddha Says the Buddha's Name Sutra" volume 11 cloud:
The retribution in the world is like an illusion, although God is happy, it will return to corruption, and the soul will fall into three paths. Therefore, the Buddha said to Suvarda: "Your master is depressed and blue, Ligan is smart, and can subdue troubles, as for what you have to do, you will be a beaver in the way of beasts at the end of your life." The remnant! Therefore, if you know that the holy fruit has not been returned, you should circulate it for the evil pleasures. ”
Senior Brother Dajue's summary: Even if the immortal Yutou Lanfu, who used to be a teacher of the Buddha's outer path, created a killing karma, and enjoyed all the blessings, he went to hell as well, and after the hell karma was repaid, he went to the animal path and became a winged fox (flying fox), do you still have greed for the visible body of the Three Realms? Another immortal teacher of the Buddha, Basil Garan, did not wait for the Buddha to attain enlightenment before his death, may I ask you senior brothers, do you still expect to live forever? Neither of the Buddha's two teachers had time to hear about the Dharma, so should we cherish our limited time, should we cherish the Dharma we have acquired, and go deep into the scriptures?

Brother Dajue's Note: In view of the fact that the Buddha's two outer teachers, Frole Kalan and Yutou Lanfu, have been gameover, the Buddha remembered that he had five retinues when he practiced ascetic outer paths for 6 years (it seems that if you don't plant great good roots in front of the Buddha, you have to be ranked lower), because these five retinues saw that the Buddha had given up asceticism, so they had prejudices against the Buddha, and the five retinues left the Buddha and continued their penance in the Immortal Deer Park in the city of Polo. (The Buddha once lived here and was often infested with wild deer, hence the name "Sarnath"). After the Buddha attained enlightenment, he wanted to save these five retinues who had served and benefited him, and he first had to find them, so he used the Tianyan GPS to locate them, and accurately found these five targets.

This is a fool. It can't be all it takes. When. The five bhikshus called the World-Honored One

The five attendants saw the Buddha coming from afar, and they still held their previous prejudices about the Buddha, and discussed that they should ignore the Buddha together, and even refused to give up their seats, (as the Buddha's attendant for many years when he was Prince Siddhartha, it can be seen how ruthless the beings in the world of Samsara are, so the Buddha also secretly thought, these five people are stupid people).
But when the Buddha approached, the five attendants involuntarily gave up their seats to the Buddha and poured water. (Don't be convinced, at this time, the Alaya consciousness is activated, the sixth consciousness is paused instantly, and many senior brothers cry when they arrive at the monastery or see someone, that's it, the database is automatically called.) )

The Buddha was not humble here, telling his five followers, "I have attained enlightenment."
The five monks said, "Don't be funny, you haven't achieved anything in your austerities, and now you must be insane."
The Buddha said, "Have I fooled the five of you" (what simple language and logic)

The Buddha said, "So believe me, I have really attained the supreme path and am waiting for enlightenment." ”

Five sheng yin bitter. It is called the truth of suffering.
Yun He is hard to learn the truth. The so-called distinction between loved. Accustomed to it. Intentions are always greedy. It is called the truth of suffering
Why do you want to do it. It can make his love extinguished. Nor will it be reborn. It is the ultimate in suffering
What is the name of Biyun? The so-called Eight Qualities of the Sage. The so-called wait and see. Isog. etc. etc. Wait for life. and so on. etc. Wait. It is called the Four Noble Truths

Ok, at this point, the Buddha has thrown out the focus of the entire Theravada primitive Buddhism, which is the Four Noble Truths that everyone is familiar with
The true meaning of suffering refers to the five yin, also known as the five aggregates, which are simply all the tangible things that you can see and perceive, including your own physical body, house, car, lover... Even heaven and earth, the sun and the moon, and the universe, the essence is suffering, and if you don't understand this, let alone practice.
Xi Di refers to the habit that in reincarnation, we have become deeply accustomed to coveting our physical body, house, car, etc., and have developed a habit
True extinction means the elimination of all visible greed
Out of the truth of suffering, it refers to the use of the eight qualities of the virtuous and sage. The so-called wait and see. Isog. etc. etc. Wait for life. and so on. etc. Wait. Different from the Noble Eightfold Path that we know, the Eighth Rank Path is used here, in view of the fact that no eminent monk has explained the Eighth Rank Path, Brother Dajue would like to take this opportunity to talk about his own realization, the meaning of "waiting" here is equality, why equality, the fundamental reason is that the five aggregates are all illusionary dreams, with this correct view, it is possible to get out of the sea of suffering, otherwise all practice is just struggling in the sea of suffering.

When. When this method is spoken. Ah Ruo's neighbors are all dusty. The eyes of the Dharma are pure

Seeing that most of the senior brothers in the three turns and twelve lines are more blindfolded, not only everyone is blindfolded, but the high-level masters of the entire Buddhist history also have different opinions on this passage.
To emphasize the importance, the Buddha said that if one does not know the true meaning of the three turns and twelve elements, it is impossible to attain enlightenment.
Senior Brother Dajue is here to share with you what he has realized
1. After seeing that the five aggregates are empty, the pure Dharma eye will inevitably be born, and a great light will be seen without bounds, so the eye will be born. Zhisheng. MING Sheng. Jue Sheng. Photolife. Hui Sheng; After the illumination is broken, there must be super awareness, great light, and super wisdom
2. Real. Ding: Different from the four meditations and eight determinations, it is really determined to be the first strict and great determination without entry and exit
3. Not false or delusional: The five aggregates are all empty phases, so they are called flowers in the mirror and the moon in the water, which is both real and virtual.
4. There is no difference in the end: there is no difference between the virtual and the real at all, and the illusion born in the great light is both virtual and real.
5. Three turns and twelve lines: After reading through the Ahambu, Senior Brother Dajue believes that it is the reincarnation of the third life, and the twelve karmas.
When he heard what the Buddha said, he instantly let go of all illusions, and immediately became clear and saw the reality with his own eyes.
The Buddha told Ara to detain his neighbors, "You have attained the Dharma"
Arao detained his neighbor and said, "Yes, I have already obtained the Dharma."
By the way, it's so easy, in less than five minutes, Ah Ruo will become an arhat in his neighbors. It is not a logical and theoretical enlightenment, but an opening of practical ability. Don't be unconvinced, this is why the Buddha first ordered these five followers, because they planted enough good roots, so the Buddha understood as soon as he said it, I believe that many senior brothers are still in the circle so far. It doesn't matter, the Buddha's Divine Path series will make you understand slowly.

At this time, it becomes the method of nirvana without birth. It is also lifeless. Disease-free. No age. No death. It's time. All five bhikshus became arhats. It's time. There are five arhats in the land of the three thousand thousand temples. Buddha is the sixth

The gods of the earth, and the visible gods of the heavenly realm began to pass on the news from ear to ear, and the neighbors of Ah Ruo have obtained the method of nectar, and then the task given by the Buddha to these five people is very simple, among the five attendants, if two people ask for food, then three people stay to receive teachings, three people go to ask for food, and two people stay to receive teachings. To put it simply, after several teachings, these five bhikshus have all become arhats, and at this time, there are only five saints above the arhat level of the entire sampas, and the Buddha is the sixth.
