Cap-to-tail summary

This would be a long end-of-volume summary.

First of all, the inspiration for this volume actually came from a certain chapter shortly after the book was opened.

I don't remember exactly what a book friend said, but it was to the effect that "If the Black Star Society is so powerful, why do you still operate in the shadows and don't rule the world?" ”

When I saw such a sentence at that time, I was actually a little crying and laughing...... The reason is that although this book does not have a very detailed outline, the main line of the story has been sorted out before I started writing, and Black Star, a character who is likely to run throughout, naturally has already set the character, what kind of person he is and why he does it...... In fact, there is an implicit logic of behavior.

Of course, his vision of an "absolutely pluralistic world" is also the motivation I gave to his character from the beginning.

Naturally, I can't explain to the book friends in this chapter why the Black Star Society's power has spread all over the world, but I haven't thought about such a thing as ruling the world...... After all, if I did, wouldn't it be a spoiler, so I could only pretend not to see it and ignore this book friend's question.

But soon, I suddenly felt a little strange in my heart, that is, why when there is a villain in it, especially when there is a very powerful villain, a considerable part of the readers will imagine its ultimate goal as "ruling the world"?

If building an absolutely diverse world is the implicit logic of the character of Black Star, then what is the logic of those villains who want to rule the world at every turn?

Deconstructing a character is actually a very interesting thing, everything a person does, every word he says, and even every expression he makes, in fact, is some manifestations of his specific personality...... But when I tried to structure some of the villains in today's superhero movies, including comics, who wanted to "rule the world" at every turn, I was desperate to find that no matter how much I tried to deconstruct them, I tried to find a valid reason for their motives – all of them failed.

In other words, these villains, who seem to be crazy and cool, don't seem to think about what they will do next if they really rule the world.

Is it nothing more than money, sexual resources, a lust for power? Wait, these things don't seem to have to rule the world to achieve it, right?

To put it bluntly, "world domination" and "world destruction" are not the same way at all, and everyone should know that it is much more difficult to build than to destroy...... In ancient times, I didn't know how many people wanted to be emperors, but how many of them only saw the emperor's harem of 3,000 and the wine pond meat forest...... And to leave the emperor's responsibility for governing the country behind?

Ladies and gentlemen, the emperor is really not good......

Because of this, I created a villain like the Heavenly Fire Sect Master, who is actually the kind of villain I hate the most - once I gain power, my desire expands infinitely, trying to override everyone...... But they simply want to be above everyone.

This kind of "I just want to rule the world" style is even more than "robbing a bank is to eat a meal of crayfish", after all, people still have a relatively simple desire to "eat crayfish" to rob money, of course, this also makes people want to complain, because compared to "take the bank's money to buy crayfish", it seems that "directly robbing crayfish" is more efficient......

Far away......

It was precisely because of my dislike for the Heavenly Fire Sect Master that I didn't even bother to name him, so I called him from beginning to end with a code name for the Heavenly Fire Sect Master.

And Shingoro Hayada is completely different, he can be said to be a complete, the opposite of the Heavenly Fire Sect Master.

He has no desires and desires, but he has the strength to sweep everything...... lives a very simple and monotonous life every day, no socialization, just playing games at home, and is a complete "abandoned house".

However, this abandoned house is not really wasted, he obviously has the ability to pursue a better material life, and it is clear that those worldly successes are at his fingertips...... Obviously, as long as you wave your hand gently, you can get everyone's attention and recognition.

But he is willing to immerse himself in the virtual world, refuses to communicate with reality, and is willing to play the role of a background board in a brilliant era of heroes.

Because of this, there is no way for the Heavenly Fire Sect Master to understand Hayata's inner world, and people like him naturally can't empathize and empathize...... Maybe Yan Xiuze can have a little insight into Hayata's true pursuit, but I think even if the two have some commonalities, there is probably no way to fully understand each other.

Writing this, I suddenly thought of a story, probably about a peasant who has been farming all his life, and always imagines whether the emperor is farming with a golden hoe on weekdays...... In ancient times, farmers who had been digging in the soil all their lives, it was probably difficult to imagine a life without farming, if you look back at the beginning of the days at this point in time, and then look at the existence of the Black Star Society, there will probably be some absurdity such as "the emperor's golden hoe", but this sense of absurdity is actually based on ...... The vast majority of people in the world are above the pursuit of worldly materialism.

In this way, it seems that the behavior of those villains who want to rule the world at every turn cannot be said to be incomprehensible.

However, think about it from another angle, such as the hermit life of "picking chrysanthemums under the east fence and leisurely seeing Nanshan......

It's not a pursuit.
