I believe that the alternate world in the book is completely different from reality. Even though there is a lot of general empirical knowledge in it, the course and ending of the story bear no resemblance to reality.

The author is too young to create a new language with a complete grammatical system. All of the Elvish languages in the novel come from Sindarin and Quenya, the artificial languages that John Ronald Reuel Tolkien wrote over the course of 12 years and improved for the rest of his life.

The orcs in the novel are not based on Zootopia, and the idea and inspiration were decided before the film was released (before I knew about it). It's just because I like fluffy animals。。。。。。
