"You will see, you will see, our school leaders will come over soon, they will come over with my military uniform, you will rest, you will have a good rest, and my granddaughter will definitely put on a military uniform for you to see."

The corners of his mouth tried to bend and smile, and tears rolled in his eyes without dripping, "You can definitely see, you must be able to see." ”

She wanted to speak with a smile and speak briskly, but the words she said trembled and trembled, and every sentence contained a thick reluctance.

Uncle Gen let out a light "hey", raised his eyes with some difficulty, and saw several familiar faces around him, and the old man with a good attitude showed a smile, "It's all hard for you, Ye girl, this child I watched her grow up, and she is a ...... It's a ...... Good boy, ...... heart Good heart, kindness, and kindness,...... In order to...... After...... Come on...... Everybody,...... Please. ”

"Uncle, don't be polite to us, we are all Ye Yatou's relatives, and we will definitely take good care of her, you, rest assured." Political Commissar Yan was on the left side of the hospital bed, bending down to hold Uncle Gen's hand, watching the respected first-class sergeant major weakly say every sentence as if he had exhausted all his strength, and the iron-clad man couldn't help but redden, "You don't have to worry about Ye Yatou, with us, she will be fine." ”

When the old man was dying, the most reassuring thing was Ye Jian, who didn't have much strength to speak, he swept his eyes over the familiar faces, and finally fell on the young man who was holding Ye Jian with one hand.

With his hand firmly clasping Ye Jian's shoulder, Xia Jinyuan walked to Uncle Gen's side, "Uncle, Ye Jian is the lover and wife I recognize, as long as you agree to my marriage with her, when she graduates and stabilizes, I can propose to her immediately." ”

He knew what the old man wanted to hear, word by word, and expressed what he thought in his heart very firmly, "I will always love her, love her, and take care of her like a treasure in the palm of my hand." I swear by the honor of a soldier that I will live up to Ye Jian in this life. ”

"Good, good." Uncle Gen was so relieved that the corners of his eyes were moist, his life is worth it, looking at the hands of the two young people clasping together, Uncle Gen only felt that his eyes were getting heavier and heavier, "Good boy, grandpa...... In Heaven...... See...... Make move...... You, you have to be a good soldier, you have to ...... To be a ...... One soldier can be used...... Soldiers of Battle,...... Take good care of our ...... Motherland, protect us...... Target...... 's homeland. ”

Ye Jian nodded desperately, and tears poured out like beads with broken threads.

A military voice came from the door of the ward, "Old squad leader! Commander-in-Chief Xia, who ran from the first floor to the ward on the third floor in one breath, strode in, "Ye Jian has become a military cadet in my country, her military uniform and relevant documents have been brought, old squad leader, you have worked hard to train such an excellent soldier for our army!" ”

"On behalf of the military department, I would like to express my high salute to you!"

The officers and men gathered around the bedside stood up straight one by one as Commander-in-Chief Xia spoke, and together with him, they paid the highest military salute to this veteran revolutionary who had dedicated his life to the country and the people.

Uncle Gen blinked very lightly, he smiled, raised his hand with a smile, and returned the military salute to all the saluted officers and soldiers.

This is his favorite unit, and he likes to see the young officers and soldiers the most, and he is happy to be able to take another look before leaving.
