I led my team to find a dozen bicycles in a small village, and then I hid from all the urban areas and rode forward, saving money on the way, usually picking wild vegetables and eating wild fruits. After the plan of action was decided, we began the operation, with Zhang Xiaoxi and two of our other armed police officers taking the women to look for shelter in the surrounding area, while the others went with me to reconnoiter around the survivor base.
