Section 5: Markets
2018/4/6
Zhang Kong's diary:
Unlike others, the materials I hold are unlimited, so I can give them to others as I please. The only thing to be careful about is not to give too much, otherwise all the survivors will develop a fool who only knows how to eat and doesn't know how to work.
I can probably buy everything that is useful in the market, but what I take out in the space feels different from what I buy in the real world. Anyway, in this situation, we are the only team who can relax and enjoy life like this, right?
But to be honest, I don't have much in my heart, because I know that my mission is not just to lead this small team, but to save the human race. Of course, this is also my choice, and if I choose to protect myself and those around me, no one will blame me, and I will not have to bear any responsibility. But the greater the power, the greater the responsibility, and I feel that I have to blame myself, otherwise I will not be able to live with my conscience.
Of course, when it comes to critical moments, I still put my dearest friends first, and if I had to choose between 10,000 survivors and my friends, I would choose to save my friends without hesitation.
Thinking about it so much, I have unconsciously followed Zhang Xiaoxi and Li Na to the market. I then saw Gong Jianfei, Xiaoguang and Li Xia, and it seems that they also went out shopping together. Since we've all met, we'll just go together.
We saw a lot of new and strange things along the way. There are those who sell clothes, there are those who sell cosmetics, and the most interesting thing is that there are still people who sell weapons. I asked a soldier who seemed to know me, called me Mr. Zhang, and explained to me the rules for the sale of weapons: 10% of the profits from the sale of weapons were handed over to the security zone, and all weapons were allowed to be brought into the market after they had been registered at the market entrance. Weapons cannot be taken out of the market, and there will be soldiers standing guard at the entrance of the market to help collect and take care of these weapons, and anyone can go to the army to retrieve them at any time with a weapon certificate if they need to travel.
Of course, except for a few small teams with relatively complete equipment, not many survivors will go out to find supplies.
The fall of the capital's safe zone scared the survivors.
The soldier followed me all the way, and I asked him a lot of questions and learned a lot of important information along the way.
Now the army has begun to implement a two-day travel system, and every time they travel, they will collect some supplies and share some of them with the people. But there were too many civilians to get food, and both the army and civilians had to starve to death before they could sow and harvest.
Fortunately, with my material support, I was able to solve my urgent need, but my little food was still a drop in the bucket, and if I really said that it should have been consumed all at once. Hearing this, I suddenly began to ponder, thinking that I should find a way to talk to the commander-in-chief here about business, and take the opportunity to give them more food and material support, so that I can help them.
I found that the secrets of my space were too heavy for me alone, and I needed to find someone to share the responsibility with me and share the secrets with me. In this case, one person and I can discuss it together, even if they can't pay attention to my complaints.
Thinking about it, I looked at Li Na beside me, and she also looked at me with a ghostly look. We looked at each other in embarrassment, and she quickly turned her head away from me this time!
Before I could think of anything, Zhang Xiaoxi dragged me and pointed to something on a stall. I came back to my senses, first took out three or four canned meat from my bag and gave them to the soldier as a thank you gift, and then I saw what Zhang Xiaoxi told me to do.
"Zhang Kong, look what this is."
